I think tipping has gotten out of hand in the US. We must be the only country in the world that practice this. In the past, tipping was an option, now it is a requirement. Recently I watched family of four from NZ express their opinions about coming to America as a tourist and everywhere they go tips is required, plus the food is not cheap. I agree. I should not have to pay $85 for a haircut, $15 for shampoo and tip the attendants for the service that I pay them to do. If I pay for food to be delivered, I have tip too?
