This concert is quickly becoming legendary, the power and energy is dynamite. The charisma of this band is undeniable, from the intensity of Pau's drumming and the animated performance of Dany, and Ale's sublime groove, I love it.
I'm into my 4th reaction Eric, and he gives Ale sooo much credit across those reactions (if you haven't seen them all yet, you may be quite surprised on his 'memories of' great Bass players and how much Ale reminds him of those). And he gives equal praise to Dany and Pau, again depending on the track (his 1st one of his reactions I watched was Dust to Dust)
I totally agree. Alejandra's bass is often overlooked. But Ale, who has perfect pitch, has been described by Paulina, the drummer, and the "human metronome."
dany (singer) manages the crowd. pau (drummer) runs the whole show on a laptop via ableton. ale (bass) takes care of her sisters. She lays down the foundation, allowing dany & pau to have fun & some place to come home to. She is also always ready at a split second notice to step in if either of the other 2 have issues. Either personal or technical. She's also deadly accurate in her timing.
Yes. Pau commented that Ales ability to keep perfect timing used to upset her. Timing and Coolness are Ales super powers. Crowds go wild when she steps up to the mic.
These young ladies are indeed, as you said, consummate professionals. I laughed when you said "maniacal" when talking about Pau's drumming. I wore a snarky t-shirt to a meet & greet with them once and it had a sarcastic personality type for each band member. The drummer was "psychopath". Pau saw that and screamed 'You think I'm a psychopath?!??!"
The project management behind this show and the post-production AV editing were excellent! This is a phenomenal concert recording. It took The Warning to a next level in the minds of so many people. Kudos to Luis, Rudy, the sisters, and the whole team! What a team play! I've watched the whole thing about 20 times now. The energy and professionalism and sheer joy behind it all are so enjoyable. Dany's pedal board is quite advanced, and contains amp and speaker cabinet models set up by producer David Bendeth for the Error album. She explains this on a Digital Tour Bus Gear Masters interview.
Alejandra, the bass player, is only 17 years old in this video (18 now). She generally plays finger style, but does this one with a pic because it suits me song. She has been a Spector Bass featured artist since she was 14.
Everyone sings along at Warning concerts. The Warning fully engages their audiences. They do an hour-long set with no breaks without wavering in intensity.
Everyone sings along because the songs are so catchy. Not only are they great players and performers, but they write great songs. I would argue that they are the best band to come out in at least 20 years.
I could not agree more with your observations. These sisters are a world class outfit. Simple as…. I love how their instruments are arranged in harmony, to build the thicker sound in support of the vocals. To me, they are a once in a generation band.
One of the bands overlooked strengths, which is also something that I think really puts them ahead of a lot of other bands, is they are amazing songwriters. They know how to write catchy songs with a sound so full I sometimes forget they're a power trio.
I agree, that should be on rotation on the radio. They've had runs of their songs "Choke" & "Money" from their latest album on Sirius XM during 2022, not sure about this year, but yes they need more radio exposure! By the way, Choke is also on their TH-cam channel from this same venue along with Disciple and their re-imagined version of Enter Sandman. Thanks!
Yes, they need more songs playing on all radio stations. They went to the SiriusXM Studio, I think in 2022 and they recorded 4 songs , Choke, Money, Enter Sandman and Martirio. The sound quality is excellent, but of course now we have the songs being released from the Teatro concert which are just awesome!
Nice reaction! More a review, which I like! They really are tight, superb power trio, the purest form of a rock band! As you point out, the bass is the foundation of a trio! They‘ll conquer Europe this summer, I‘ll see them at a huge festival in Germany, and they‘ll visit many countries, some with Muse! They are just starting in Europe, but I already heard them on the hard rock stream of our biggest german rock radio! Thanks for your review, greetings from Germany 👍⚡️🤘
@@Oldmarty Exactly… and the Radio Bob Rock Hits Stream… since 6 months 1 or 2 songs a day, Evolve, Choke, Money, Disciple… not yet in the nationwide main channel (that I can hear via DAB in my car), but in these genre streams, that’s a good start! 👍🤘
Ive been helping on there funding page for years and I finally heard them on my radio! They deserve to get popular there great girls! There new MTV video of More and Evolve are awesome! Thank you E I enjoy your stuff! Your deep and interesting! Erica Scottsdale Az
Preach it brother! The sisters obviously inspired you to dig deep into the descriptive word scape vernacular for this banger! The drummer, Paulina calls the deep connection with her sisters “sibling magic” and it’s evident every time they take the stage.
Excellent reaction and analysis! I truly enjoyed you spending time speaking about Dany as a great front woman. She has so much to manage during and in between each song and spends so much time working the guitar tones for each song when writing and then working her pedal board while she’s singing lead. They all work hard to have everything perfect - matching the vision of each song. Their entire album is incredible.
I love the verse i love is "If karma dose does not hit you, then i will". Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) said she has not seen a group grab an audience as much and quick as TW in years. After watching them on tour, she told her band that they needed to go back and practice.😆 Mr. Clark. Any background in Country/Bluegrass? Ever heard of WBRF Galax Va.?
What a cool breakdown of the performance and that band itself. Even if your video title didn't indicate you were a DJ, I would've guessed from your intro you definitely had experience behind a mic lol. I recently just stumbled on to The Warning, and right off the bat I was hooked. These 3 sisters can tear it up. FM radio unfortunately blows nowdays, but would be cool if some of those rock stations tune into your vids and heed your words. This band needs to be heard by EVERYONE.
Totally agree with you about collective energy and for this reason I am go to be in their concert in a few weeks un Aguascalientes México and octuber in México city!!! Gracias y saludos from Pachuca México, by the way I am old man of 61...
I live in Aguascalientes and will be there, but I work, so I doubt I will get in :-). My sights are in Guadalajara. I am 64 btw. Us, the old rockers love TW.
The Warning does a great job breaking that 4th wall between band and audience. Seen them several times live and it’s just a big party. Great reaction, Sir.
A friend pissed off Pau and this song is the result. The message: don't piss her off. LOL This concert was definitely their crowd. They sold out the venue twice over the course of a couple of days. It is a historic venue where it is an honor for Mexican artists to perform. And it has great acoustics. It seats over 3000 people. So, this was a huge crowd for them as a headliner. It will become the norm within the next year, I'm sure. About the strong vocals: this was in Mexico City, about 7000 feet above sea-level. These three young ladies have great conditioning.
Hey Eric! I have never been to rock concerts where the audience and the band are so connected as with The Warning!! It's a big party and a love fest more that a show. They include you in the music. Their favorite thing in the world is to play and share their music live, and it shows! They have released other songs from this show so I will give you another one from their newest album, "Error" called "Disciple": th-cam.com/video/Wo0odllVq8g/w-d-xo.html
A radio station here (KBPI fort Collins / Denver) had "MONEY" on rotation for a while. It seems like they have mostly cut female artists and are very into male-oriented rock and metal. That's corporate radio! This band deserves widespread airplay. All three sisters sing and they all play piano. I suggest you check out Paulina's cover of Radiohead's "Creep", though if you do, it is important that you let the video run all the way to the end. Oh, and my sympathies to your sister! :D
Great reaction! The band sold out this 3,000 seat theatre, so they added a second night, which they immediately sold out, as well. Amazing energy. Thanks!
It was the Wyldeside that lead me to The Warning. I bought Three Days Grace tickets just to see these Ladies live. Worth every penny in travel. I couldn't for the life of me, figure out why you never went back, or why your review was so short. The catalogue is fantastic and I find myself listening to it all.
You used hundreds of words to describe what other reactors call "tight", and I loved each one of those words. That is a huge like and subscribe. All my recommendations have already been mentioned. Thank you!
Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. In 2022 the did over 100 gigs in North and South American along with Halestorm and Three Days Grace. They recently did four shows with Muse. This year they plan to tour the US and Europe (8 countries in Europe). They also have two shows planned in Mexico for the Fall. They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. They started as a cover band and now have 46 original songs in an EP, three albums, and a single. No bad songs. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals.
JESUS CHRIST, WHAT A REALLY GREAT ANALYSIS YOU HAVE MADE, I HOPE YOU GO ON REACTING TO THE WARNING, ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE GREAT AND PROB. THE FUTURE OF GOOD ROCK MUSIC. THANKS A LOT.
I gotta admit, i like the comparison of Ale with Entwistle. Shes very, very musical and precise which tracks well with that comparison. Pau also matches pretty well with Keith Moon IMO. Your reactions are among the cream of the crop in TH-camland . I LOVE THIS BAND !! ✌️💖🎼

I've sort of been following them since that semi-famous video of them as 'tweens' playing Enter Sandman. They have come along nicely over the years mastering their instruments and are on track to become an iconic band!
Appreciate your insightful analysis. Agree that bass players in 3 piece bands like Entwistle, John Paul Jones, or in this case Alejandra, who tend to be more subdued on stage than their band mates, don’t always get the credit they deserve. 👍😎
I wasn't quite as hyped on this song with the first minute or so. but...... These girls won't leave you alone. They won't allow you to deny them. By the time they got into the "May Day" hook they swallowed me up again. I just couldn't wait for it to come around again and they gave it to me. It became my favorite song of theirs until i heard the next one which happens every time. What a band!
2 días ÉPICOS para THE WARNING, 26 y 29 agosto 2022 pasarán a la historia, Mayo NORTHE AMERIC, Junio EUROPA Y EL MUNDO, saludos desde Ciudad de México, TWA CDMX 🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡🔥🔥🔥
I agree with you, I like seeing the audience react to the music, that's why I dont enjoy those ones recorded near the stage. By the way, I had those two albums at the corners in the back. Now that you mentioned them, they opened for Foo Fighters a little more than a year ago in Mexico, city, just 15 days before Taylor Hawkins passed away, unfortunately. They only shaked hands to David while passing by them, but Taylor had the kindness to shout them out from 30' away, "you sounded great!" Great reaction man, I appreciate the info you gave us, I enjoy it. Tks!.. (they'll have a headline show very soon in US visiting 17 cities, they sound amazing live, check it out)..
Thanks for an excellent reaction that says everything I didn't know how to say about experiencing The Warning live. Everything they've done is top tier, and why Animosity doesn't have the streams and views Choke has is beyond me. Not that Choke doesn't deserve the numbers, too!
Great review...Ale (the base player-18 yr when recorded) drives most all of their songs, it is truly an amazing skill set. Yes Danny kills in this vocal (god your right about the four piece by including her vocals). Thanks
You should also watch Disciple from this same venue, where Dany and Pau (the drummer) trade off lead vocals! Ale's bass line commands attention from the very beginning, and nicely compliments what Pau is doing on the drums. The message that's behind the song is pretty deep as well, about how modern society is falling into a controlled/controlling trap. The music video and the Teatro Metropolitan performances are both amazing and well worth the watch!👍 Thanks Eric!🤘😎🤘
when they start the second verse, Dani's singing and Pau on the drums don't come in on the "1", they let the guitar start a few notes by itself, getting your toes tapping before they come in....genius.
Johnette Napolitano is a good comparison to Dany's vocals. Both powerful and emotional. Love, love , love JN. Good breakdown of song and band structure. It sounds like you've had band experience. There is a lot more to these women than meets the eye and ear. All three super talented. My favorite band for the last 2 years. Keep on rockin, brother.
You should react to their Lima Peru show from Dec. 10 2022 because that was by far one of the most amazing concerts ever filmed. The energy, the audience participation (louder than the PA), the give and take was beyond incredible. Doesn't matter what song you choose because they all all winners! There has been no other band as young and as talented as Dany, Ale, and Pau are. Their band is one to pay very close attention to, because their dent in the universe is massive!

The Queens of Rock ⚡The Warning⚡ 🔥👸👸👸🔥 Humm. Interesting analogy to Johnette Napolitano bassist and lead singer (Bloodletting - Tomorrow Wendy, Joey) Johnette and Daniela both had such a very early start in music. Rock 🤘😎
Very nice and interesting description... The Warning is best i heard and seen, in 30 year... And i'm an old metalhead... Heard EVERY song... like 40-50 times.... still grooves every time.

Hi Eric; just discovered your channel and subscribed. My wife was a rock station DJ for 4 years in the late Seventies, back when it was all extemporized and she picked her own music. Thanks for this exceptionally well thought-out reaction to the Warning. I'm going to see them next month. A band called Plush is opening for them on that tour. Plush is 4 young ladies from NY state who really kick out the jams. I recommend a live-in-the-studio version of their tune "Hate" at: th-cam.com/video/IO0gkGuDTvQ/w-d-xo.html . Keep up the good work!
the all-female rock group , called The Warning, for my taste is a rare mix of legendary rock groups like Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and the black hearts and Heart. greetings from Mexico.

This dude doesn’t just like the warning’s music he also likes soccer!I always said from the vain things I like of this world is Rock music, soccer and literature any order you put them!
Unfortunately, radio stations don't create their own playlists and one of the primary U.S. radio station playlist companies, iheartradio, doesn't even have The Warning on their list of artists. I suspect that they require significant investment to add a new artist to their list. To quote a lyric from their song, MONEY, "It's all about that cold hard cash hon". It's not like the old days when you could call your local radio station and request songs you want them to play.
Ahhh the mythical "dirty chord" - I know what you mean, just riffin' on it - is that a tritone rooted on the legendary "brown note"?? hehe hehe heeheehee \m/
As great as this performance is, of the 4 released as mentioned in @screenwriter53's post, it is my least favorite, but when talking about The Warning, that does not mean much, as they are always great live. 😉
This concert is quickly becoming legendary, the power and energy is dynamite. The charisma of this band is undeniable, from the intensity of Pau's drumming and the animated performance of Dany, and Ale's sublime groove, I love it.

Love the warning 🤘 Best rock band in years for me 🤘
I wasn't quite as hyped on this song with the first minute or so. but......
These girls won't leave you alone. They won't allow you to deny them.
By the time they got into the "May Day" hook they swallowed me up again.
I just couldn't wait for it to come around again and they gave it to me.
It became my favorite song of theirs until i heard the next one which happens every time.
What a band!
Dany's vocals are so good...I can listen endlessly!
The best power trio of XXI century!!
Stunning audio and video quality!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Your analysis was spot-on without being pedantic. Thank you.
These young ladies are pure power and passion
2 días ÉPICOS para THE WARNING, 26 y 29 agosto 2022 pasarán a la historia, Mayo NORTHE AMERIC, Junio EUROPA Y EL MUNDO, saludos desde Ciudad de México, TWA CDMX 🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡🔥🔥🔥
The Warning is one of those bands that are even better live than their studio version
Totally agree with your comments and observations. I hope you do more of these for The Warning. 🤘😎❤️⚠️
Everytime I am hearing and seeing Pau she reminds me on a young female Jukka Nevalainen...
Am I so wrong with it ???
Thanks for an excellent reaction that says everything I didn't know how to say about experiencing The Warning live. Everything they've done is top tier, and why Animosity doesn't have the streams and views Choke has is beyond me. Not that Choke doesn't deserve the numbers, too!
The best band around with a legendary concert...
Great review...Ale (the base player-18 yr when recorded) drives most all of their songs, it is truly an amazing skill set. Yes Danny kills in this vocal (god your right about the four piece by including her vocals). Thanks
Ale was 4 months from being 18. Every member of this band and their crew are amazing.
Ale is 18 today, 17 in August.

🗣 Righteous reaction/analysis Eric!
🤘🤓🍿
Watch the other sings from this concert. Theres great interaction w the crowd and the band.
when they start the second verse, Dani's singing and Pau on the drums don't come in on the "1", they let the guitar start a few notes by itself, getting your toes tapping before they come in....genius.
Rock on!
You are spot on about these ladies!
😺
Love you're feedback you get this band cool....cool DANI TALENT
I saw a photo the other day.....the though hit me......Dany=The Face, Pau=The Force, Ale=The Foundation.
Thanks
Like your review and follow The Warning. Saw them in Portland last year. They give their all regardless of the venue size or location. True professional conduct.
On a different topic. Please drop the phrase “Easier than my sister.”

Humm. Interesting analogy to Johnette Napolitano bassist and lead singer (Bloodletting - Tomorrow Wendy, Joey)
Johnette and Daniela both had such a very early start in music.
Rock 🤘😎
Thanks for giving Ale some love. Her bass hits like a freight train. And don’t get me on to the slide.
Very nice and interesting description... The Warning is best i heard and seen, in 30 year... And i'm an old metalhead... Heard EVERY song... like 40-50 times.... still grooves every time.
genial análisis al sonido de la banda, me suscribo esperando mas reacciones hacia tremenda banda de ROCK!!! THE WARNING presente y futuro del ROCK!!! ⚡⚡🤘🤘
🙋🔥🔥🔥⚡⚡⚡
I so concur with your reaction sir. Thanks for the buttered Twinkie 😂🤘
"Que enormes temas de The Warning en el album de Error, escuchas las letras y mensajes y son excelentes,TW esta demostrando que es un trio de calidad con grandes riff, buenos solos y bellas interpretaciones de Dany y su poderosa voz y Pau y su melancolica y desgarradora voz ,ANIMOSTY : un tema de rock duro de The Warning , tremendo rock, TW las nuevas maestras del rock en todos sus generos" jluisg
Great review!! Thanks!!
the all-female rock group , called The Warning,
for my taste is a rare mix of legendary rock groups like Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and the black hearts and Heart.
greetings from Mexico.
Great analysis!
US tour in May, Europe in June. The next legit super group

Ahhh the mythical "dirty chord" - I know what you mean, just riffin' on it - is that a tritone rooted on the legendary "brown note"?? hehe hehe heeheehee \m/
by way of contrast in feel and approach try "breathe" from the pepsi centre october 2023 or "black hole" from the same show
So cool comparing Ale to John Entwhistle! one of the great bassist's ! Good man!
As great as this performance is, of the 4 released as mentioned in @screenwriter53's post, it is my least favorite, but when talking about The Warning, that does not mean much, as they are always great live. 😉
Que agradable ver a Michael Keaton haciendo reacciones..!!
You might want to check out the LiLiac Band Mars live Version. There name comes from Bat from Romania
Did u catch that guitar riff in the second verse? Dany can belt out complicated lyrics and throw im supper awsome riffs and its pretty amazing.
