I only use a pan to soften tires. It kills the prep also( makes it dirty and thicker) if you wipe the prep that came out of the pan it sets on the tire and leaves a slimy residue.
I almost never use it either but if it rains at the track and they keep running the show the pan will make your day much easier.

how about a video about how and where to mount a GoPro on a flat kart for a jr driver to watch how he's driving and to learn from. everything on TH-cam is asphalt karts with center post
This is a task I’ve been trying to come up with. Non helmet mounting place. Best I can think of is a 360 camera mounted to the fairing somehow?

I don't know what it's called but have u ever put the Cherry scented oil in your kart I have the whole track will smell like cherrys first time I did it everyone was confused why it smelled like cherrys it was great

Yeah we’re not allowed to run 11’s in the clone classes witch sucks cause the 11’s are soft don’t even need prep.

Try a set of white maxxis.....
Tracks up here are either open tire or Burris and soft. Whites might work though.
@kart6t3_ben we were running yellow Vegas in clone heavy here in cincy and they were good, switched to white maxxis last year and picked up a 10th or 2 depending on how hot it was... Lawrenceburg and cincy speedway are both open tire rule.. yet again we won one night on 33s.... it's definitely mind boggling!!! I'm thinking about trying a set of white Vegas this year...just for giggles. I figure if you don't try you'll never learn!!!
Seems like one would waste a lot of expensive prep rolling.....??
