I thought about that too, what's wierd is the most question I get asked on this channel is whats my screens color settings, even from those with the same screen. Strange they'd ask if it was their owns screens colour they were seeing. Confusing stuff, i definitely need to learn more about it.

Mine arrived today .. i was so Hyped, but sadly its defective 😞 when i try to change the Input Signal (for example dp to hdmi) the Display turns black while the Blue led on the Right is on.. Then i try to Open the osd Menu because i Want to change Some Settings, But the osd Menu cant be displayed .. Same issue when i try to Activate hdr or want to change From hdr 400 to 1000… when i restart my pc or PlayStation or laptop, the Monitor doesn‘t find an Input… If I completely disconnect the monitor from power and restart it, it shows an image again, but not always .. sometimes it takes me half an hour to display an image again. I think the Panel is the Problem , because i Tried different cables , different devices , updated all my Drivers , Windows Updates etc… Unfortunately, I will now have to send the monitor back to Dell and hope that they will quickly send me a new monitor, which will no longer have any problems. 😢

That's really unfortunate. It definitely does sound defected. It's good you got onto Dell quickly. Let them know what a huge let down your experience has been for the amount you paid.
These screens aren't exactly cheap 😕
From what I've read tho Dells warranty turn around time is pretty decent so hopefully you won't have to wait long. Best of luck my bro!

I just don't feel like waiting anymore. I just hope that they might send me the monitor faster. Because now that I've seen it once, I'm just impatient because I know how good the monitor is. But the most important thing is, that the monitor no longer causes any problems. I‘ll let you know when the new one arrived 😃

My friend if you can be bothered, keep contacting them and asking for updates, also stress to them the importance of you needing your monitor back. Tell them you you need it for work etc. Hopefully they can escalate it and it comes to you sooner. Worth a shot?? Best of luck!!
What about Java? I'm assuming it supports the Ultrawide 21:9 ratio too, yes?

@@zanzatec thanks for the info. I was hesitant on getting an ultrawide since some games don't support it, but I figured it'll be fine since pretty much all modern games do. Have you run into any trouble with specific games not supporting this aspect ratio before?

For me personally its most games out of Japan that are behind on the ultrawide aspect ratio - elden ring, sekiro, tekken etc
There is certain software/mods that can force the aspect ratio, such as flawless widescreen but for the purpose of the channel, I just stick to native.
Most modern games do support it as you mentioned.

It's such a solid screen. I've been gaming since the early 2000s and never have been blown away by a monitor like such. I got in august and I'm still in awe at how it displays some games. I'm new to OLED so it might be subjective but coming from ips/va, its an actual game changer to me, no doubt about it.
I can't look at my g7 32" 240hz with the same respect I once did 😅
