Stay away from the RTX gimmicks, and you will be fine my friend. My situation, i got lucky with already having store credit at a local pc retailer from my g7 32" odessey RMA, and having a buyer on deck for my 3090. Wasn't much of a hit for me to upgrade to the 4090, which is more suited for RTX at 3440x1440 imo.
Bro, I have one question. with this monitor you can use 2 Pcs at the same time like Samsung Odyssey? I mean, make the monitor like 2 screens at the same type one using hdmi and another use dp for example.

Would you think it’s a bad idea if I also hooked up my ps5 to this monitor. I primarily play on my pc but I also want to play on the ps5 for exclusives like god of war and the last of us. I’ve also heard that there are black bars when playing on console because the ps5 doesn’t support ultrawide. Would these black bars be a deal breaker when playing on console?
I think so fams, basically why i havent bothered. Same deal applies if the game doesnt natively support 21:9 then i just stay away. I cant do the black bars lol, no chance lmao.
Yoo, my sincere apologies for the delayed response my bro Im still using out of the box config (factory settings) HDR400, Standard preset, bright/contr 75 HDR/SDR both enabled on Windows 11 how are you enjoying the new screen??
@@zanzatec I'm using the HDR 1000 with auto HDR on (even for browsing and TH-cam. I find the auto HDR isn't as saturated though, making it less vibrant. I'm being told it's because I'm so used to saturation and that HDR is suppose to be more lifelike, and not vibrant. Idk what I should set it to. You only use the HDR 400?
@@thebmxreviewer Yeh bro, HDR1000 looked good as well, but gave me wierd dimming issues and wasn't as bright in some games as HDR400. Im very lazy when it comes to configs and settings so swapping between the two isn't an option for me lol as some suggest you should do depending on the content. Have you tried moba/rts preset, that adds a ton of saturation to the image.

49 inch or 34 inch, which one best for RTS and common using?
I'd recommend 34 personally. 49 is more laid back game pad gaming on a couch imo. Up close and personal on a desk would be weird for me
