    I’m surprised, even though you ran it at 6-7k rpm with the straight pipe it didn’t seem to have too much “roar” on the exhaust note. I do hear the sound (“roar”) on the ND2 (2020) Miata, but it fades after shifting into 4th. Have you seen increased power with the straight pipe and turbo and how much hp/torque are you actually getting? Good job driving thru the mountains, wish I was back in N Cali with my meowta 😻

      The turbo seems to dampen a lot of the exhaust note so it’s not too loud straight piped. The Miata is making around 250hp & torque.

      S A - The turbo on any vehicle acts as a “muffler” of sorts so turbocharged cars tend to be a lot quieter than normally aspirated cars for that reason.
