@@ToolsandTargets I’ve had a box of the 115 sitting in the safe for months and I was just wondering how it performs. I got my answer. Great timing my guy
Hey I just got a Taurus GX4 and the Gold barrel and the night sites, I got the desert tan slide and a couple of their 13 round mags, love this little thing
Great information. I was given a box of the 115g last Christmas. I have been interested in how this would perform as compared to my other carry ammo (which you have tested). I love your no BS test.
Old timer here. I stopped being a velocity nut several years ago. I shoot/carry nothing but 124 grain in 9x19. Never tried this particular ammo, but 124 is what I stick with no matter what I use. Sectional density and kinetic energy is far more important than most people realize it seems, although I admit it is not as 'exciting' as the lightweight hot velocity numbers. Thanks for the video. Appreciated
@@acid6urns Light and fast also can give you deflection and less penetration. There is a balance of the two that works, for each caliber. Sectional density is the most important 3rd factor in penetration. And a short squat extra light for caliber bullet is a formula for failure on bone, muscle, hide, dense clothes, etc. But each of us chooses what we carry. I choose the best combination I know of for 35 caliber handgun bullets, and that, to me, is 124 grain.
Thank you for revisiting some of the ammunition that did well in the bare gel with the cloth barrier. I’ve been watching you for a long time and I know your feelings about the cloth, but I think you and some of us have had our eyes opened to the difference. Keep going Tools 🔫💨😡🍮👑🛠
The only Ammo Inc's that I have are their 45acp JHPs. Nothing in 9mm or any other caliber. I shot up my box of Ammo Inc 45 TMCs the last trip to the range after I think you discovered they were weak sauce. But the JHPs performed well. Anyway, good test. Good velocity out of 3.0" barrel. Enjoy the weekend, cause I need your videos coming all week 😁
I had never heard of or seen Ammo Inc ammo until after Covid hit. It was some of the odd manufacturers that appeared at Rural King. I have bought both 9mm & 357 magnum and were unimpressed with both.
A 4” barrel might be the sweet spot for the 124 grain load. A little more velocity would help it to expand better. I hope you will consider keeping the clothing barrier as your regular testing standard. It has been a very useful addition to your tests, since all self defense situations involve some type of clothing.

I don't have access to gel blocks and no way to catch the bullet but I did have a couple gallon water jugs. I shot one with the ammo inc115 gr fmj, the other jug with ammo inc 115 gr jhp. As you might expect the fmj had a small entry hole and did manage to split the back of the jug from top to bottom. The jhp however jumped the jug 2 feet in the air and peeled the whole jug out into one large sheet of plastic. I don't know if the bullet expanded because I couldn't catch it but it sure messed the jug up

I need to proof read when I do talk to text.... Fixed it..
Another one bites the dust.
Big hoss has defeted another dud.
Im always looking for the most efficient round, and if someone gave me some of that junk, I would gladly take it but I would only use it at the range. Thanks for what you do brother. That's a great public service. You should get noticed for that.
Appreciate you, my friend!😎👊
These are on sale at Big 5, is it worth the buy? 🤔
Yes based off what i see i just picked some up
I’d say so. Ammo inc. projectiles are their own projectiles but they seem good for the price
I think it looks like the 124 tumbled right-side forward early, losing some of the hollow points obstruction, and so it opened up.
I would guess that each lobe on those large disruption areas is a 180 ° flip.
😎👍
Very odd results, however, if 5 rounds of each cartridge were shot, I bet the 115g bullet might (randomly) bloom out on some shots.
Possible but would still be a fail in my book.
Does expansion happen in the air?
Or in The jell?
Gel
