@@Mackarrrena his mom was the sort of mom I hope to be, ready to hype me up and also downplaying when I fuck up and being incredibly patient with their child who is very much the epitome of chaos
I was so happy watching this, it made me laugh and also made me cry, I was Kevin's mom this time and also was the woman who took him under her wing after Betty died. I remember that life very fondly, I was making a graveyard for people that were special to me, like family and nice people who helped me during each life, took me around three lives to finish it and I actually bury you in it. You were my only child during that lifetime and were a lovely child I must say, and I wanted to teach you a lot, but you keep running away and yes, you were super fast haha. The first time you went away after telling me you were going to get me a gift, I was so sure you weren’t going to make it back, so I tried to follow you and watch from afar in case you needed help, but sadly I lost you after a while. When you made it back with the egg, I was super happy, so I went to the kitchen to prepare the omelet and wanted to give it to you. While I was getting the stuffs to preapre it, I asked you to please bring fire so I could cook the egg in the kindling but you went away once more and this time I couldn’t find you again. I waited for you and sadly time run out and I couldn’t say good bye, tho I did said some final words that you can still read at the Family Tree in the OHOL website if you look for Betty Fight. When the time was almost over, I went to the graveyard and took the omelet with me, hoping you would find it. I was reborn in the same family as Berry Fight, and the next time I saw you, you were asking for your mom, so I decided to show you where her body was in case you wanted to say goodbye. Then you said you were going for a shovel, and I tried to stop you, but again you just run away hahaha. I waited but after a while I thought that maybe you didn’t make it, so I decided to bury her and finish her grave and also did the engraving of the other graves around, after that I was going to take the horse and go out to find your body, but then you made it back haha. The next time I saw you, I was about to go out to get more stones to finish the floor inside the graveyard and I catch you right when you were hitting the gravestone with the shovel, then you said “I can explain” and I almost die of laughter, was the funniest thing ever. When you died writing the note I screamed at my screen “NOOOOO” and actually thought you died of old age, I was super sad, so I took the body and bury it in the family graveyard, engrave it “Son” and left you a cute little note under the grave in case you were to be reborn in the same family. I continued my life and had two more kids, five in total, but sadly all of them disconnected. So, at the end I asked a nephew to please bury me in the family graveyard next to Betty. Just a few things, I usually don’t tell my kids if I’m reborn cause I feel it breaks the sense of finality that this game brings, which makes each life unique and special, you have one chance to share with this other person and teach it and help it grow, one chance to be a little part of its life and then you are gone and is up to your kids to continue the line. But if I’m reborn in the same family, and I see my kids from a past life struggling, I do try to help them. Another point, sadly I didn’t notice you were starving at the end due the mask you were wearing, if not I would had tried to give you pie again, also, the note you were writing didn’t save, but I did made a note with what you said before and put it under Betty’s grave and redid the engraving. Made me happy to finally be able to see what you wanted to write. Finally, I wasn’t your mom in your previous life, but I did saw the video and felt in love with her, that video made me decide to get the game and play it and she completely inspired me to be the best mom I could be in this game, and I took her catch phrase “It happens” for myself, so every time a bb disconnects or something bad happens, I say, “Don’t worry, it happens, isn’t your fault”, to help see the other person that is fine. It was amazing to have been your mom in this game and see the time we shared from your point of view, I hope you decide to keep playing it and maybe we get to be family again in some other life. "Huggies and see you in another life"
I've had a lot of bad and good lives in 1H1L but the nice ones tend to stand out because the player base is so dedicated and wholesome. See you all in another life!

Anyone else noticed that the Mom actually made the omelette from the egg Kevin gifted her? 19:43 Even though he was all the way lost throughout his life. Mom didn't toss away the egg somewhere, she knew that finding that egg was his only acomplishment in that life xD. She looked busy managing her lil graveyard but actually took time out of her 1hour life to make that omelette T_T this community is so wholesome I can't.
I have a feeling kevin's last video on the game was the most popular one they had in a while and now everyone playing the game has accepted "it happens" as a game-wide normal speech
I once had someone politely explain to me that they didn't have enough food for me and to just walk away so that my skeleton didn't clutter up the place. I was quite happy just running north to my death, it was neat.
Okay, I don't think it could be more wholesome than this... I was laughing hard as well and suddenly Kevin says, "My guy is like 60 years old and his entire goal in life is just to remember his mom, that's it. The like good five minutes we had together." It legit hit me like a ton of bricks.
The scenario where you just smash the headstone while wearing the goblin mask and your 'mother' pops up at that exact time legitimately made me cry with laughter. I've not laughed that hard in a long time, my god.

this game seems so simple at first but it soon becomes evident that its built upon cooperation and people playing together. and i love how the game communication is limited along with a set definition of 'lifetime'. It's a great concept and i love that my exposition to it was through this channel, with its lovably chaotic energy. Then again, Kevin and the absurd situations he willingly and laughingly enters into time and time again, is what makes him one of the greatest entertainers on this platform in my opinion. Thank you
I always think of Kevin’s first mom. I know it was only one video ages ago, but I still think of her when I start a new game and it makes me happy. I wonder if she watches.
I recently lost my mom; it was kind of emotional last video when "your mom" died but it is super endearing that you keep finding these wholesome "moms". Keep this series coming, I'd like to see a start of a colony up to racecars.
For me it was 25:53. The decrepit old man wearing a goblin mask desecrating the grave of his late mother getting caught red handed, then the long stare before he says "I can explain"
@@NoGoatsNoGlory. Oh god for me it was whole entire ending, but especially those parts! I thought I was annoying my real mom with how much I was laughing!
This video is nice, my family and I have been mourning a loss this week and it’s so heartwarming to see a game like this that’s built on cooperation and support between virtual strangers. Thank you, Kevin, you’ve always brightened up my darkest days and you’re sure to have spread that joy to all those whose lives you’ve touched in game and in the community at large.
I am sorry for your loss. I am glad this video was able to brighten your day. I also found this game of strangers providing virtual support touching. Cooperation and collaboration is an inspiring concept and the genuine moments of connections in this game are uniquely heartwarming.
I love watching you learn this game! It’s hilarious and wholesome. Yes, most people in this game are nice. Teaching each other how to do things is actually a big point of the game. You can be born back into the same family sometimes but it’s random chance. That’s why so many babies die. They get born and see it’s not the place they wanted so they type /die and it kills them without negative consequences.
I actually like this part of the game it makes the process of still born babies a game mechanic in a game about life. Sometimes it isn't meant to be thankfully not as heartbreaking as real life but it's a nice touch in a game that is all about life death and living again. It would be annoying if the player base was smaller but as is it's a neat mechanic and leads to some crazy world building when you're really into a life and are being a good mom to your living kids
Is everyone in this game wholesome? Yes, very nearly everyone. Speedrunning parental bonding and the loss of loved ones is what makes this game so moving and amazing.
I find it absolutely amazing that u usually post just a few minutes before I start my nighttime routine. Also, I caught myself thinking today "is it a Kevin day????" So, congrats - u have become a permanent part of my life, and I wouldnt have it any other way.
oh my god we're a collective. Every time i see a new video of Kevin's, I whisper out "Kevin day" and open it up regardless if I'm going to watch it fully.
We want and need more of this game! You should try the two hours one life version as well, it's easier to survive when it comes to beginners and hunger systems. I love you!
Depending on the player count, the odds might not be as low as you think. The first mom seemed very familiar with the game, so did this one so that means both probably play a fair bit🤷🏾♀️
From what I’ve seen a lot of people are very wholesome in this game. Moms and babies saying i love you and sending off the old people with love and making memorials. Of course some griefers but generally everyone wants to move the town forward and leave something behind for posterity.
I've been checking this channel every day to see if Kevin revisited this game yet! The last video cured my depression and, somehow, made me a better person.
I hope this video does amazing so Kevin will play more. One Hour One Life is so wholesome and heart-warming. Actually gives me hope that maybe humanity isn't as horrible as I initially thought. Kevin should make a series out of this game
there was a guy in denmark (i believe it was denmark) who made a bunch of small aquariums out of blenders, each was full of water and one goldfish. each blender had a large switch that people had full access to. none of the goldfish lasted through the day
I heard that Kevin is like single-handedly reviving this game 😂 which is great because I think it’s really quite unique and it’d be sad to see it die out
This game is amazing and the ecosystem seems to bring the best out of everybody… Kevin, those are wholesome videos that shows an other side of your personality, and we all love the other sides, but it feels good to watch someone’s humanity ! I d’love watching some other videos of yours on that game and keep not learning the technical stuff, you are really good at the relationship stuff!
20:36 - You can be reborn in the same family so long as your direct line is still alive. For a girl it means daughters, granddaughters, sisters, etc... For a boy it means nieces, sisters, etc... BUT you have to live to age 60 (a full life) in order for this to take effect.
I'm so jealous of kevin experience in the game. My first mom asked me if I was new, if I knew about the yum system, then dropped me on the ground and told me to eat. Second mom was a good mom. Helped me, told me what to do, then, when she died, she asked me to watch her clothes and give them back to her when she'll come back and that she will continue to help me. I did just that. For in game years. Until someone told me someone cursed her so she couldn't come back. Was left completely alone again to I left the town and wondered aimelessely, almost starved to death multiple times and eventually found a abandoned town where I settled myself for the remnant of my life
I can’t wait to see if this mom is as good as the last one at keeping Kevin safe from himself. 😂 EDIT: I choose to believe that was the same mom. Also this video was hilarious.
So glad you played more and would love to see even more! An epic saga of mothers, begging the question; will the next one be as wholesome as the last? Will the next one be the WORST?? Thank you for being a content creator. You're my comfort zone and entertainment at home when I otherwise have only boredom and stress to accompany me. Much love. ❤
23:00 ah, I don't think that was a compliment As an experienced one hour one life Player, watching you play this game is painful. You didn't even know how to eat, yet you were wandering into the wilderness to find a plant (milkweed) that you'll only find far, far away from town. Great video, but I had to pause it many times to calm down.
I can understand why this game would have a surprising amount of actual helpful players bc you cant afford not to be helpful when your time is numbered and it's difficult to survive
Legitimately laughed until I cried at Kevin trying to say Me Hungy and that expression on his face and "Feck!" when it registered what he did say instead. XD This game manages to be wholesome and hilarious and a little tragic at times all at once.
I’ve been rewatching Kevin’s other video of 1 hour 1 life, I absolutely love the concept of the game and Kevin makes it hilarious. So excited to see more of this game
Now to comment again at the end of the video. I haven't laughed as hard at anything in a while. I love this game and seeing you learn it... well "learn" it, brings me back to when I first played the game. And there's so much that you can learn something new all the time. I saw the omlette and was yelling at you to notice that your mom died next to the omlette she made for you. So damn wholesome, literal tears! I hope you keep playing this, maybe you'll bring in enough new people that the dev will start working on it again? Maybe you could try 'In Next Life'? it's heavily inspired by 1H1L, but GL getting through the tutorial lol
5:50 yeah that was my first though when i played that game. This game's community is incredibly good and nice. Its really heartwarming to see there is still nice people/communities on internet.
I literally just heard a radio essay about this game yesterday and youtube sent me here. In the comments I see you've revived the community. I'm so happy! I can't wait to try this game myself. This is the kind of rare project that deserves to live. :)
“Maybe everyone in this game is just nice and friendly.” Me, remembering Criken’s absolutely godforsaken attempt to play this game with his friends… I.. don’t think so, Kevin, you must just be a good son.
Criken also RP's way too much to be a video gamer; he is more like the "machinimation" that are made by roleplaying in Halo. Not saying that's a bad thing, but Criken brings that on himself. Kevin on the other hand; he just does his own thing and we "Find out what happens" in his zany antics. The role finds him.
Theres 2 hours 1 life version, and your first video on this game caused a huge influx on that version which is free. You legit sparked a bigger community for that game, so thanks for that
Omg yes!! Just recently I watched the 1st episode of this one and lamented that there wouldn’t be more but here’s Kev proving me wrong! So freaking excited about this one life!
This game is so cool. I love how the mother plays the game. Pretty sure she was the child helping you too after your mother passed. I like how she made the game feel. Like, that 1 hour of being alive is very memorable, I like the message behind this cute little game!
I've been playing this game for weeks (thanks to Kevin's first video) and I'm pretty sure most of the baby deaths are because they're players either looking for a specific colony that they've already been to, or they're looking for a type of colony- me, I like the long-lasting ones because it's just easier to live, but some people like the new ones to build them up.
i love this. kevin, please play this more. its so cute and wholesome. also i think everyone is patient and wholesome BECAUSE its super difficult when youre new to it, so they have to help you, and in progress get attached

she did comment on the first video though the comment is buried lol
@@darkdest6664 Doesn’t help that an imposter took credit for her work, somehow gaining thousands of likes.
@@lalalarose8197 I think she is A Kawaii Vtuber
@@AjayLackinn That’s right.
It was Tifaclocxii, aka Tifa.
I recently lost my mom; it was kind of emotional last video when "your mom" died but it is super endearing that you keep finding these wholesome "moms". Keep this series coming, I'd like to see a start of a colony up to racecars.
The last OHOL video he did was quite emotional for me too.
Hope you're doing well buddy
we need more of this, everyone's so wholesome and Kevin's cluelessness is hilarious I've not laughed as hard as i did at 27:33 for months
I cried laughing at that part and that never happens to me, it was great.
the funniest part was when he killed the penguin lmaooooo
@@mikaela3197 when did he do that?
This video is nice, my family and I have been mourning a loss this week and it’s so heartwarming to see a game like this that’s built on cooperation and support between virtual strangers.
Thank you, Kevin, you’ve always brightened up my darkest days and you’re sure to have spread that joy to all those whose lives you’ve touched in game and in the community at large.
I am sorry for your loss. I am glad this video was able to brighten your day. I also found this game of strangers providing virtual support touching. Cooperation and collaboration is an inspiring concept and the genuine moments of connections in this game are uniquely heartwarming.
love to you and your family. his videos also help me during my moments. The mourning periods during covid carry on, for me. Just wanted to empathize
When he writes "How to write?" and realized that he actually wrote it on the letter, i was dying of laughter 😂
that early scare with the horse & cart proves that Kevin isn't safe from auto accidents even as a baby in apocalypse caveman times
I love how wholesome it is whenever Kevin plays this game
What is this game called?
@@syene5739 One hour one life 😊
Even the adopting Mom was so kind! Love this game and Kevin playing it..
It was the same player. She was lucky enough to be born to the same family again.
funny enough it was the same person, she wrote about it above- she just doesnt break the immersion and plays like shes a new person each time
One Hour One Life is truly one of the most wholesome games ever made. SUCH a good community!
I love that Kevin tries to help. It's such wonderful character development.
Yay, more of this game!
8 likes in a minute?
Kevin instantly makes my day better
The mom you had last time was amazing, I haven’t seen this yet but I’m excited to see how your mom is this time
I love watching you learn this game! It’s hilarious and wholesome. Yes, most people in this game are nice. Teaching each other how to do things is actually a big point of the game. You can be born back into the same family sometimes but it’s random chance. That’s why so many babies die. They get born and see it’s not the place they wanted so they type /die and it kills them without negative consequences.
whenever i type /die it just seems to filter the crafting menu :/
@@marekita8719 that’s weird. It should work if you’re a newborn.
accurate to the average irl baby, who seems set on dying asap
I actually like this part of the game it makes the process of still born babies a game mechanic in a game about life. Sometimes it isn't meant to be thankfully not as heartbreaking as real life but it's a nice touch in a game that is all about life death and living again. It would be annoying if the player base was smaller but as is it's a neat mechanic and leads to some crazy world building when you're really into a life and are being a good mom to your living kids
Is everyone in this game wholesome? Yes, very nearly everyone. Speedrunning parental bonding and the loss of loved ones is what makes this game so moving and amazing.
I really enjoyed the 1st video on this game, glad Kevin's playing it again!
This is such a strange idea for a game. No goal, no instructions, totally dependant on other players to learn and play. Really truly unique concept
I find it absolutely amazing that u usually post just a few minutes before I start my nighttime routine. Also, I caught myself thinking today "is it a Kevin day????" So, congrats - u have become a permanent part of my life, and I wouldnt have it any other way.
Omg I do the exact same. I also measure my days (and how good they'll be) by if it's "Kevin day" or not
@@CapnCrimson same here!!
oh my god we're a collective.
The first mom seemed very familiar with the game, so did this one so that means both probably play a fair bit🤷🏾♀️
yeah the first mom also said yay a lot
She is mom to the whole game
She is known to singlehandedly carry colonies
From what I’ve seen a lot of people are very wholesome in this game. Moms and babies saying i love you and sending off the old people with love and making memorials. Of course some griefers but generally everyone wants to move the town forward and leave something behind for posterity.
This was just as touching as the last time you played this game. Thanks for returning to it again.
I love how wholesome kevin is when he plays this game. He just wants to be a babby and grow up and go on adventures
I've been checking this channel every day to see if Kevin revisited this game yet! The last video cured my depression and, somehow, made me a better person.
It happens ☺️
I hope this video does amazing so Kevin will play more. One Hour One Life is so wholesome and heart-warming. Actually gives me hope that maybe humanity isn't as horrible as I initially thought. Kevin should make a series out of this game
Amen.
there was a guy in denmark (i believe it was denmark) who made a bunch of small aquariums out of blenders, each was full of water and one goldfish. each blender had a large switch that people had full access to. none of the goldfish lasted through the day
I heard that Kevin is like single-handedly reviving this game 😂 which is great because I think it’s really quite unique and it’d be sad to see it die out
It really is. It's like slice of life video game genre. Which it would maybe be the first game of?
19:14 the pure shock in Kevin’s face when he realizes his mom is dead.
Kevin's last note before death: "How do i write". I love him playing this game so much
i really hope kevin makes a part three!! such a fun game to watch him play
20:36 - You can be reborn in the same family so long as your direct line is still alive.
For a girl it means daughters, granddaughters, sisters, etc...
For a boy it means nieces, sisters, etc...
BUT you have to live to age 60 (a full life) in order for this to take effect.
I’m glad there’s a second part of this I hope it becomes a series
EDIT: I choose to believe that was the same mom. Also this video was hilarious.
I love when Kevin plays any games thats online with strangers cause he really has fun with the random people he can meet
Sometimes I would play this game just to be a great mom. It was more for the roleplay aspect and my love of teaching others. 10/10
Much love. ❤
I'm so glad your playing this again
23:00 ah, I don't think that was a compliment
As an experienced one hour one life Player, watching you play this game is painful.
Kevin, this should become a real series. Like... this is so funny and so wholesome at the same time!
I agree!
Man, it's so cool to see how kind and helpful people can be.
Please Kevin, we need you to keep playing this, it's hilarious.
That was absolutely hilarious. I bet the Mum substitute was cracking up when he died in the middle of writing his note.
No home marker was stressing me out! Wow, what an eventful life. I love that Kevin is diving into this game. It's such a wacky experience everytime
I was seriously impressed he always found his way home xD
5:50 yeah that was my first though when i played that game. This game's community is incredibly good and nice. Its really heartwarming to see there is still nice people/communities on internet.
I absolutely love the interactions between people on this game!
I literally just heard a radio essay about this game yesterday and youtube sent me here. In the comments I see you've revived the community. I'm so happy! I can't wait to try this game myself. This is the kind of rare project that deserves to live. :)
HAHA. I have never laughed so hard as I did at "I will.... bury the child"
Genuinely one of the funniest things I've heard on TH-cam.
“Maybe everyone in this game is just nice and friendly.”
Me, remembering Criken’s absolutely godforsaken attempt to play this game with his friends…
I.. don’t think so, Kevin, you must just be a good son.
I would do anything for Kevin's in game mother, she is an angel
Theres 2 hours 1 life version, and your first video on this game caused a huge influx on that version which is free. You legit sparked a bigger community for that game, so thanks for that
The mannerisms of this mom are super similar to the last one..I choose to believe it’s the same mom
The person who played the mom made a comment and said it wasn't
I would watch an entire series of this game! I’m loving the wholesome chaos 🥲
Right? It's so sweet. I can imagine having a really nice nap binging these though 😂
Kevin needs to do at least one more of these please. I laughed so hard at the note and her finding him knocking over graves
Omg yes!! Just recently I watched the 1st episode of this one and lamented that there wouldn’t be more but here’s Kev proving me wrong! So freaking excited about this one life!
So excited to see more of this game! I hope this becomes a series, it’s such a wholesome game!
This game never fails to show me how kind people can truly be.
This game is so cool. I love how the mother plays the game. Pretty sure she was the child helping you too after your mother passed. I like how she made the game feel. Like, that 1 hour of being alive is very memorable, I like the message behind this cute little game!
I hope you will play more of this game, this has to be some of my favorite content. Dying of laughter the whole time.
love how “it happens” is this game’s catchphrase now
This game gives me life, I'm laughing with actual tears in my eyes. 10/10 Kevin's mums are the real MVPs haha
I’m starting to think “it happens” is the catch phrase of everyone in this game
after the first video, I revisited the game and had many new experiences, I will be revisiting it again now. thank you Kevin
Okay I hope you can continue these videos because your last video I loved it so much thank you so much Kevin
i love this. kevin, please play this more. its so cute and wholesome.
also i think everyone is patient and wholesome BECAUSE its super difficult when youre new to it, so they have to help you, and in progress get attached
I bet Kevin could use two hours one life and make a civilization of viewers. That would be fun chaos.
