I played this a long time ago without any prior knowledge of the tech tree barely scraped by finding berry bushes on thee outskirts of towns/villages while bringing back various items for them to use. One day when I played it with a friend and some guy taught us how to replenish the soil to a berry bush we spent the rest of our lives colloquially known as the "dirt boiz". We collected berries from the field brought them home went back and watered/replenished the soil for the whole damn field several times over eventually when our mentor and mother had passed away we sat languishing around our stockpile of berries watching them slowly deplete but knowing our lives would soon come to end before we saw the last of our work undone we both let out several screeches about the fabled "dirt boiz" before returning to that same dirt we once ferried around. Also at one point in that life an old man passed me and my friend in the field he was close to deaths door and feared we were the last beings he'd see before he crossed over. He said his goodbyes my friend said something respectable while I decided to have a goof and say "Eat shit and die old man" (I planned on immediately telling him it was a joke) I wanted to wish him well into the afterlife however I underestimated how close he was to death so after the horrific insult he instantly died I was both laughing my ass off and sad that those were my final words to the guy

Ngl you did pretty alright for a new player. Mainly because you didn’t get in the way or bring danger too the people or town. Making food is pretty good.

What a beautiful life and story. Hopefully, that baby will keep the ketchup dream alive, allowing the cycle to continue anew and the legend and gift of ketchup and fries to be passed through the generations.
I like to go back to this game every so often. Last time I played I was a part of a group that grew psychedelic mushrooms. It would randomize textures for awhile so that was fun.
There’s some serious character development in this 15 minute segment: we go from a little boy with red pants to a grown man in the same red pants with a bowl of ketchup

I've only played this a little bit and from my experience not knowing how to do anything makes it like 100× funnier. But only if your civilization is advanced enough to thrive while you're busy being dumb and useless.
This game looks like when you have a Minecraft world with your friends and you have that one friend that is really good at setting up all the essentials, like all kind of farms and starter houses, so you can kinda just do whatever.
I didn't know Charborg invented ketchup. XD I think we owe all our french fries, eggs, hamburgers, hotdogs, potato dishes, chicken tenders, and more to this guy.
