Some stages of this game are okay such as null space and mortar canyon but they become so much fun when trying to speedrun them. Also your run is impressive! You're really good with using the drill wispon! Every time I try to use it I fall in a pit and die
I’ve always wondered why the sonic community think this is garbage, sure it feels automated, sure tails is written HORRIBLY, sure the game can get annoying, but if you look past all those, it’s actually kind of a solid game and double boosting was my literal dream of running at the speed of sound with sonic, great speed run bro Edit: also it makes me feel like spider man lol
I'm replaying it now and I agree. I was on the hate bandwagon at first but the game is pretty fun if you try to 100% it. Classic sonic levels still suck tho, specifically casino night levels

This run is a(n) NG+ run which is essentially the full game (Stage 1-30) on a completed save file. It basically skips all the extra fodder like unlocking Wispons and such
That’s a common misconception. The run is measured on in-game time which means that if the timer stops (which it does for QTEs) then, the total amount stops as well
