Sean that seems like a brilliant bike and well done Indian. I’ve loved Indians since the early 70’s. I even tried to buy a 1934 Chief and side car from my boss when I was doing my apprenticeship. Even though I was sad to see Victory fold, I was happy to see that Polaris build Indians to the same quality. Now getting to your giveaway comp that you mentioned. Living in Australia, it doesn’t matter if I was able to do as you ask I wouldn’t be in contention because of the cost to ship it to Australia. Anyway thanks for the great video from Down Under.

Sorry Sean. You're wrong about the HD XR1200. I own one and it is virtually a completely different machine than the 1200 Sportster of the same era. It has basically a Buell engine that makes considerably more HP and torque with oil cooled heads, hotter cams, down draft fuel injection and freer flowing exhaust. About the only things that are the same as the regular 1200 is the gearbox, bars, belt drive and headlight. It's also a great bike overall. And by the way I love this Indian.
You sound like other riders when they are demoing the Husqvarna Vitpilen. I'm curious how they compare. Fun video you've done, enjoyed the scenery and wind vicariously. Thanks!

Rode one at a demo, loved it.
Stunning , hats off to this bike , at last a bike for the everyday rider from an icon of a manufacturer and its American made .. Thanks for sharing Regards from Dublin Ireland :-)
ow!! how i wish i could get my hands on a motorcycle, had to sold mine cause of the pandemic lost my job lost my motorcycle!!!
You getting that unemployment with the $600 bonus?
Damn
That’s rough, bud.
Sad man
I rode the FTR1200S at a demo days... sits surprisingly high, but it's a fantastic bike and the torque will keep you entertained for years to come.
Buell had been knocking those numbers down for years already 😆 Nice looking bike though
And 100 lb lighter. I owned a Buell and miss it, And maybe someday you got another one. But this Indian's pretty cool though, well worth a look
Still have a buell, xb12x. Fun bike
@@clinth179 If I could find a good mechanic in the the Oakland area I might get another one someday. My bike was pretty darn reliable and fun.
Wow I’m glad you picked that bike ! I’ve been looking for someone I trust to do a good review on that specific model. Lots to think about
You had my subscription when you dropped the Bible verse. He who acknowledges me before man, I will acknowledge before the Father. Good job man.
Adults with imaginary friends are stupid.
Jesus will quote that right back in your face when it’s your turn to stand up in front of him. Then you’ll be the stupid one. I hope he reveals himself to you some day.
@@ChakaForReal Will Jesus be an apparition standing barefoot on a cloud? Just want to know what to expect.
By the same token, if Harley announced a new supersport with 200 hp would you take their word for it or would you like proof? 1600 year old ravings of lunatics are not proof.
@@ChakaForReal I hope your god is real. He has some explaining to do. Like how can he justify killing everything including babies and the unborn because he has a temper tantrum. Makes his the greatest abortionist and murdered of all time.
Omgwtflmaololrotfl It’s all part of his plan that can and has and will continue to be proven my friend. I suggest trying to find a local church or two. Invest some time. A little time on earth is nothing compared to eternity. Gotta learn what it takes to get heaven though. Only Jesus. I hope the lord reveals himself to you and I hope you accept his invite.
I need one of these now!!!! I have a mt07 cause of you! This bike looks awesome in every way!
Harley doesnt have a dog in the fight, hell the puppy aint even piddling on the rug yet [lol]
I love my FTR !! As a motocross junkie . It gives me what I need on asphalt!!
I’d buy one of these if I could get it for like $9K left over new
You can get the non S model for about that price almost the same bike just doesn’t have the nice screen
vic vapor they really did I test rode a used one at the local dealership and bought a new one a week later the screen is awesome however the software “ride command” is very finicky
@@TrentUlrich Non S models start around $12,000+freight and setup fees. You wont walk out of any dealer paying $10,000 or less for a new FTR considering its indians flagship bike. Everyone pretty much wants one and theres isnt a lot of supply.
Cloakedsphere I just bought my S for $13K out the door with $750 in Roland Sands parts on it. There are deals to be had if you want a 2019 FTR. I saw a few non S models selling for less than $9k while looking for my bike granted I think one was a “demo” bike.
Cloakedsphere I just got a pretty good deal on a 2019 s race replica. The screen is worth it over the stock instruments in my opinion. The stock instrumentation is straight from a scout and has just a digital read out for the tach.
Sean that seems like a brilliant bike and well done Indian. I’ve loved Indians since the early 70’s. I even tried to buy a 1934 Chief and side car from my boss when I was doing my apprenticeship. He wasn’t interested in selling it as he was happy with it leaning against a tree out in the weather.
It just keeps pulling! Until you get to the speed limit of 65, which I just did right now! *as he's going 100+*🤣🤣
I bought my 2023 last December. I love it! It an amazing bike.
When you're on your "Stage 3" Harley and see this coming up behind you, i guarantee your palms start sweating.
Try stage 5. Lmao a stage 5 Harley (the 131 CI) makes the same power has Indians 108
@@trigger8152 good lord... what a waste of money
@@jordanjoestar8839 imagine spending 15k to have a 131 dropped in your Harley only to have a 1200 cc Indian keep up lol
Watched a lot of reviews/videos on this bike.. this is the best and most informative.. SOLD! probably gonna purchase one
Sweet bike!! Stayed blessed my friend
Harley also made the XR1000 back in 1983 and ‘84. Great video! Subscribed. Glad to find your channel
“Not only is this thing designed to accelerate very fast, its also made to break very fast”
Me: 👁 👄 👁
“With 4 piston caliper brembo brakes”
Me: oh
Well yes a Harley will "Break" Fast...this will "Brake Fast" LOL
@@misters2837 Pretty much the words out of my mouth LOL
That would be the dream bike for me to ride back and forth from medical school on! I love that bike style and have been interested in a bike for a long time
Man I'd love to get my feet in the air again...moving with the girl so she can follow her dreams and get a good education, ended up selling my motorcycles to make it all work for us.
very stupid
@@salpairadice 👌🏻Humans dump you, motorcycles don't unless you're doing something stupid. 😁👍🏻

Very nice
Hope she buys you a new one when shes pulling in big coin
Seen all your videos and i never seen you happier! Good job and good luck to the winner!
Hopefully the white folk don't get offended on behalf of native Americans and get Indian motorcycles banned
Just bought the 2023 FTR R Carbon. I can attest - unbelievable bike and way too much fun. And I am still in the drive like a sissy break in period.
Any other Indians here ?
Haha
hey im indian. but im english and i live in france! howabout that!
@@yogiguitar1 nice. Are you from south ?

That bike really pleases. Thanks for sharing. Be well and God bless.
Such a nice bike. Been researching them since they came out and trying to buy one this year but covid has been putting a huge halt on the money situation. The red grey color scheme is definitely the best too.
I like the one with the red frame the best
This is probably my next bike after i get my open licence here in Australia. Im having a blast on my Vulcan S but I want to have a more aggressive seating position sometimes.
@11:06 No these bikes are not selling well at all. My local Indian dealer has 3 of these, one of each model, and they are all marked down $3250-$3750 off MSRP because they have just been sitting on the show room floor for over a year now.
I purchased my 2022 carbon 2 weeks ago and this baby perfectly performs with both single or with pillion passenger
It can hit easy 160 3rd gear..
I reached 210 but that was pushing it 😉
Oh man, I’m currently looking for my first full size bike. It would be super awesome if I won this. I’d finally get to meet you guys 😁. Indian really outdid themselves on this one for sure.
You should ride the 2022 model as it has numerous improvements. Lower seat height by 1.4in, better stability.
The FTR RR in 2019 is the best one
You made that bike feel like HOME. Riding comfortable and ReLaxed. Unlike my Shadow 2001' 600 VLX BOBBER, Harsh and Stressed. Elevate me to a new LeveL. Wurd.
I own a 19 chieftain but a fan of harley as well.. I'm glad to see the rivalry alive and well!!
Great video!!! Keep up the good work
Well that’s the most excited I have ever heard you on a test ride. Loved the video😎
33 " seat height? wow, good for tall guys like yourself! hope they make one around 30 or so so i can kick butt on one..that reminded me of my 75 enduro 2 stroke, but only a super serious super sport 4 stroke enduro..awesome bike, awesome ride, thanks! i think it does belong on the flat track more than anything! :-)
Been saving for this bike ever since I first saw it in person at the las Vegas aimeexpo. I have an fz07 now and can see how this is a great step up. Awesome video and great info thank you!
You should trade him your fz07 for this bike! He loves your bike and you love his.
Man. Great exhaust sound too. If I were in the market for a new bike this would be #1. Thank you Indian.
I just took delivery of this exact model / color today haha , pretty crazy u put this vid up today , the S model is on sale for 11,999 right now till the end of the month normal price is 15,500 ... it's a great deal for this bike . He is not joking the bike is amazing to ride and pulls hard down low , if ur contemplating now is the time cas they on sale ( prob the reason he picked his up to lol )
Thanks!
I'm a disabled veteran and one day I will get one, but for now I will have to wait and Watch you ride it.
It's crazy right? I have been a Harley guy my whole life, and I wanted a smaller bike to screw around with... I bought a scout like a week ago.... I'm impressed with Polaris/Indian. I didn't think much of them but hell I think I might go back and buy this one too!!! They look and feel so good
I own this indian FTR 1200s - it is the funnest bike i have ridden... puts a smile on!
So loved your enthusiasm! Just picked one up today. Such a super fun bike.
