@@naylani7790 Mike did try helping in the past but in Italy he instigated it. One small comment was turned into a physical altercation. Mike was at a low point which gave Ron the upper hand. If Mike wasn’t going through withdrawals he would have done better.
They were all used to abusive relationships to be honest. Just look at how Jenny would put up with how Roger always spoke to her. Honestly when I watched this show my parents were in a shitty relationship so I thought this wasn’t even that bad. I can see how it can be normalized to some people. Also they all tried to get them to break up but they couldn’t force them and they kept getting back to together so… not much they could have done about two adults choosing to stay together.
I'm SCREAMING at how a comment from Sammi about how she didn't eat and feels sick resulted in Ronnie telling her "I have a million girls who could do what you do," like what a psychopath.

Every time they fight he tells her she's nothing, she probably started to feel that way. As goofy as it is, I like that one fight where she says "you'll never find a girl like me" because at least in that moment she wasn't letting him make her feel worthless

It’s crazy how fucking horrible Roger was to Jenni. Their whole relationship triggered me and it reminded me exactly how my relationship with my ex was. I have no idea why I stayed that long but when you’re in the weeds you truly don’t feel how bad it is until you look back and realize it.

The amount of emotional, physical, psychological, substance and even sexual abuse in this series is crazy. And we all watched at the time and somehow agreed as a society that "those girls are annoying." Wtf. Like even the Ron and Sammi stuff, everyone thought they were annoying, but that Sammi was the villain for... being upset that her boyfriend kept cheating on her and abusing her? The late 2000's/very early 2010's were insane.
There definitely weren't as many bed-wetters in that era. I feel like people in the US werent as judgemental or sentimenal, and generally cooler.. People are so indignant, heavy, and opinionated, and generally triggered by anything and everything now. We all need to point out " problematiccc" aspects of old shows now rather than just appreciate them as a product of their time and a nice trip down memory lane. Ron was a POS to Sammi. Yeah there was all kinds of abuse. Jersey shore was a view into the lives of these guys, who aren't good people to begin with. It wasn't like reality shows nowadays where you're not allowed to say certain things or it just gets left out. Trigger warnings for domestic abuse, loud noises, gay phobia, whatever. Italians are conservative and old fashioned. Even the younger, second or third generation ones. No they don't like fatties. No they don't care for lbgt stuff. Yes they have ironic views on female promiscuity. But it was reality TV. It was more reality than the curated shows we get nowadays. Ron and Sam's relationship, better or worse, was probably relatable to lots of people at times. Same with the "phobias" and language/sayings that were "so problematic". You don't know how many families/groups are like this when they hang out in private. Again, relatable.
I perceived the same thing with Vinnie and Deena. That phenomenon is unfortunately kind of a thing I’ve personally noticed in the mental health community. It’s like how people in recovery love to try to one-up each other’s most intense and dangerous drug/alcohol stories. People with mental health issues will try to invalidate or belittle others that struggle with similar issues instead of thinking back to when they were in the throes of their struggle and using that to empathize.
deena reminds me to not take advice from miserable people. everyone else on this show has horrible relatioinships and they're all calling her a loser for being emotionally intelligent.
For reals! The way she immediately went to Chris and was like "do you feel like this?" And they had a great chat about their needs. They're perfect together and I just love seeing their family. Deener and Chris for the win
Justice for Deena, they treated her so weirdly and always had double standards. To me she was the sweetest amongst all of them. I hated how they tried to comfort Vinny and coddled him when he had anxiety but basically rolled their eyes and laughed at Dee. They made he apologize when she was discovering herself and even when she was just making out with that guy in Italy, in her ROOM(which the guys did all the time). They always made fun of her and called her stupid/dumb. I felt for her when she cried about it and it was just basically brushed over. She’s so sweet and protective of her loved ones, so I adore her sm. (Just speaking from a viewers pov, this doesn’t mean that I dislike the rest of them. I do dislike sammis ex- R@#.)

Really irritating that she apologized so much when others were treating her bad. I’ve done this before just to shut people up but it seems like several of them truly hated her. Oh well, the ones that treated her bad, generally were bad people.
I’m so glad you addressed Pauly and Vinny gaslighting Deena during season 4. They were completely awful to her yet painted as these fun, lovable guys who were in the right for how they were treating her. Season 4 was a dark season for sure.
Pauly has matured a lot but he's always gotten waaay too much of a pass for his horrible behavior toward women in the original show. It's like everyone is blinded by the charm

That season on Italy definitely broke them, not breaking the show but breaking them as persons. Nicole's drinking and Mike's drug abuse got worse, Jenni started to have more issues with Roger, Sammi and Ronnie reaching their breaking point. Their time in Italy was supposed to be fun and exciting but it was a bit nerve-racking to see them that bad. Watching Jenni being so scared when Mike and Ronnie fought, covering her head to not get hurt because she got trapped in the middle, Deena pulling Sam away to stop her from getting involved and possibly getting hurt was so sad.

Nahhh let me make it clear. No era is more misogynistic than what we are currently living through with the incel movement and the violence that has come with it. I promise you. There was more self-hatred from women between 70-2000s, but as someone who was late teens and then very early twenties when this show came on the air, these people were like a different species. The misogyny was NOT representative of the era as a whole. I PROMISE you. We watched these people with our mouths agape.
It’s not fair to call it only misogynistic. There all subjected each other to toxic gender roles. The girls were called sluts and were expected to put up with the men cheating and being overall shitty boyfriends, but the guys were also expected to be all macho all the time (Deena expecting Pauly to just fuck her cause that’s what a guy should do, and everyone laughing at Mile with his injury, no one taking Vinnys anxiety very seriously). Also they may have said misogynistic stuff but ultimately they all stuck out for the girls when time came to it. If you ask the guys about Snookie they’ll say she’s an amazing person regardless of how trashy the whole world thought she was. They were still friends at the end of the day and I think that’s why we all kinda bonded with them too. Not really the worst thing in the world.

Just wanted to say as someone who ingests an unhealthy amount of youtube and has since like 2018, this easily has to be one of my favorite videos ever. It was in my recommended for over a week and I never thought I'd watch it bc I've seen the show 7 times and thought I already knew everything I could know, but finally gave it a chance bc I was sick all weekend and am so happy I did. The ability to not only retell everything objectively, give huge amounts of behind the scenes/production insights (for instance after season 5 they had been filming for 120 consecutive days which is insane), and also just capture the cultural impact it had at the time really made me feel like i was reliving my middle school/high school years all over again was just perfect. You clearly put an incredible amount of hardwork into this 2 part series and it was more than worth it, thank you for letting me relive one of my favorite shows and making it seem like I was reliving parts of my childhood

Mike being so paranoid and angry makes so much more sense now that he's opened up about his substance abuse and addiction. Happy to see he's doing so much better now, and has truly seemed to change and grow as a person.
season four was the craziest season they’ve filmed and not many people take it in consideration about behind the scenes for the way how the cast acted. jenni had just suffered from a miscarriage. mike was on and off drugs. the constant verbal and sometimes physical fights between ron and sam. the cast was overall just beginning to get very tired of not only the show but of each other.
I have to say while I HATE how she defends Ron and villifies Sam, Jenni is such a real one especially in season 4 I respect her for always watching out for her friends.
I give Jenni a lot of shit for how she treats Sam, but later on when they bond as like the two reasonable more mature girls in the house it's really sweet

They would have been best friends since the get go had he not been there or not gotten with Sam, since they were the more serious two out of the four. Ron really ruined everything 😭
I’ll start by saying that I am in no way taking up for or defending Ron in any way. But I think the roommates reaction to Ron is because they saw things & a side of him we didn’t see. It’s well known producers of reality TV shows have storylines for each of the cast & edit footage accordingly. So, I think it just comes down to them knowing a side of him we don’t.

There's not a secret version of him that's better, we got plenty of moments where he was fun and a good friend. That's just much less important than him being abusive to his partners. I'd argue the most infuriating thing about the show was Ronnie being manipulative gaslighting and cheating on Sammy but yet the house consistently look his side and acted like Sammy was the problem. just look at season 3 when Ronnie trashed all her stuff and yet the house is yelling at Sam as if she started it.
Deena is such a real one and I can’t believe nobody said shit to stop the bullying of Deena - because whilst being her friend, that’s what they did. She’s sweet, open, emotional, and people can get a mean streak and go downhill. It’s awful.

Ron was actively manipulating her to get a rise out of her in order to turn the blame back on her. This is highlighted even more now that we have the extra context of him getting arrested for domestic violence and Sam seemingly being in a healthy relationship
Wow in season 5 you can really see Mikes slide into pill addiction. You can hear how high he is in his voice and when hes talking gibberish. Also explains his erratic behavior and mood swings. Oxy 80s were everywhere at this time and they were so addictive. I remember them being literally everywhere we all did them.
The paranoia really stood out to me. A lot of drug addicts are paranoid out of their mind when on their drug of choice. Makes them think everybody is out to get them. Mix that in with mental illness, and boy have I seen that go south.

@@7gjkreeydtyd Well, Mila did say that during season 4 Jenni was taking xanax to deal with her grandmother's death and her miscarriage. So no, it would not surprise me if they were. Several people who worked on set said the cast were on drugs constantly in the first couple of seasons. I think that's just a common thing with reality TV stars. Their lives are being blasted for everybody to see and there's probably immense pressure.

As someone who was in high school during peak Jersey shore era and hasn’t revisited it since, I’m at least relieved to see that Sam is being treated with way more respect and understanding now than when it was airing. I remember their relationship was joked about constantly and the whole “Ron stahhp!” meme was a thing and I just feel so weird and gross about what my friends and I probably contributed to that narrative. I’m glad we can all call it what it is now as a textbook abusive relationship allowed to play out and recycle for views.

as much as I didn't want to believe that Snooki and Mike hooked up everything that happened in this season surrounding those allegations pointed to it being very true. ESPECIALLY when Jenni said "Mike told everyone about what you guys did." Leaves very little to speculate about. It's stated so matter-of-factly. Overall, I remember season 4 being really depressing and the main reason why I stopped watching. It spiked my anxiety for them being in another country at what seemed (to me at least) peak burnout and gave me way too much secondhand embarassment. Because I hadn't seen seasons 5 or 6, I'm glad to be getting a retelling of them lol
Jenni also said "Mike's giving details. Mike's giving YOUR details." to Snooki, which basically confirms it. Jenni gave it away lol, but it was also her being tired of Snooki's shit, Snooki was being a bad friend to her all season while Jenni was going through a rough time (Had a miscarriage).

Jwow was always my favorite, she felt inspiring cuz she felt like she could stand on her own. Seeing her (and the others actually), in toxic and abusive relationships is really heartbreaking. When Jersey Shore was aired in Mexico, no one had any idea about the whole context behind it, like the Guido and Guidette thing, the Italian-American culture, the rite of passage of renting a house and working with youngsters in the shore, and neither the other shows that helped shape what this show was. So we just took it as a crazy show about young people partying, and I never knew (to this day) why they'd taken them to Italy, I just though it was to make it more interesting. It's funny because the cultural fenomena was totally different and we experienced it in a totally different way, plus it wasn't so popular here, since it was only aired on MTV and many people couldn't afford cable TV.

Hell most people (specially back then) only associated Italians with pasta or food... in a similar way kinda how gringos can watch a Mexican show and think mexico is yellow and only exists as a drug country. JWow is my overall fave for her "catch these 🥊🥊 first and talk never" attitude, but Deena is the most down to earth and comes off as the easiest to get along with in real life followed by Snooki and Pauly D.

seriously. i remember thinking snooki was a little heavier but she really wasn’t. she is tiny and when she would gain weight it would be tummy and boobs and that made it seem like she was big, but she’s never been big. deena i always saw as curvy, which she is.
It’s weird how body standards varies across different countries cause we’re in from they were always considered physically attractive. Especially Deena I remember a friend of mine having a huge crush on her when we were watching the show. Being short, curvy, and tanned is like the eternal standard in Latin communities so I was kinda surprised to see Americans always calling them ugly.
I keep watching this recap. Ronnie is nuts. I'm proud of Sammie for fighting back and not letting him win in a way, even though she was entangled in the toxic relationship and couldn't leave, she stood her ground and kept trying to respect herself and him.
My favorite moment of the entire series will always be when Mike rams his head into the wall and then they just have the shot of him sitting on the couch all depressed with a neckbrace and sunglasses on.
I waited on Mike “The Situation” one time at my first waitressing job. He ordered lobster tacos and a blue moon and so did the girl he was with. He tipped a normal amount. The next day he came in, we had the exact same awkward interactions, and he ordered the same thing as the day before and I never saw him again.
My family has a Snookie Christmas ornament that we hang on the tree every year. My senior year, our school won a private DJ set from Pauly D. For all it's faults, this show was such a phenomenon and really invaded all areas of life at the time. You could not escape it. Thank you for such a great retrospective! Amazing as always.
I love that MTV refused to air that show because it was “too close” to Jersey Shore, yet they will make 20 different “The Challenge” series and completely kill that show 😂

Man… say what you want about Mike but to watch the complete transformation is super awesome. It must have been a huge wake up call to rewatch all those seasons filled with steroid and perc rage. Good for him!!!! Got a couple kids a wife and is really into the recovery thing still.

I didn't have cable while watching the episodes as they aired- I just watched them a day later on MTV's website, so I hadn't seen that footage or knew about their fundraiser from what I can remember during that time.

i went to the shore a couple years ago and happened to stop in there and danny was BEGGING my friends and i to pay for and take the tour of the house. we were like dude we are literally walking out of here and driving back home we dont have time, and he continued being persistent saying we could make it quick (still for the full price of course) and idk i just found it so strange and pushy and look at him a little weird now LMAO

People can be in denial all they want, Mike was telling the truth about sleeping with Snooki. If you notice, every time Snooki gets caught in a lie, she acts that way. ( this situation and when Angelina was reading the texts she was sent during that whole blow-up on Family Vacation ) She screams and screams but can barely deny it when the truth is in her face so she runs. If you noticed how Snooki reacted to Mike blowing her up season 5. She kept saying “I trusted you and you betrayed me.” If it never happened her vocabulary would have been different along with her body language. In Italy when Jenni first told Snooki Jenni gave it away the way she said it. We all knew Snooki did something and Mike wasn’t lying. But Mike wanted to expose Snooki and he did so. The fact Snooki kept denying it especially up until now it’s ridiculous. Something happened. Just admit it. She didn’t cheat on Jionni with Vinny because they broke up but she cheated with Mike and D. Snooki was just in denial.

What a lovely jubbly wander down memory lane. I certainly didn't plan on spending four-and-a-half hours watching a Jersey Shore recap when I started searching for something to watch at midnight. Smashing video, the effort you put into it must be unreal.
I think that everyone needs a friend like Jenni in their life. Someone that will always forgive you and always be there for you, but will ALWAYS tell you when you're acting like an idiot.
You can start to see much more of the poorly hidden coke and molly usage in season 4. Keep an eye on how sweaty and wide-eyed Ron is literally ALL the time.

I only watched random episodes of the Jersey Shore but I knew a lot about it because it was such a phenomena back in the day. This brought back so many memories.
Looking back, it's kinda sad that all of the men in Jersey Shore have at least 2 red flags each. Pauly is probably the least offensive one and he's still messy as hell.

You know what is something you forgot to mention, in Italy they said only Snooki and Pauly can drive them because the car is a stick shift, and “no one else” knows how to drive stick, but after the Ron and Mike fight, we see Ron driving to the gym. Also im almost 99% but the BMW that Ron drove to the house in Season 3 is a stick shift.

@@naylani7790 Mike did try helping in the past but in Italy he instigated it. One small comment was turned into a physical altercation. Mike was at a low point which gave Ron the upper hand. If Mike wasn’t going through withdrawals he would have done better.
They were all used to abusive relationships to be honest. Just look at how Jenny would put up with how Roger always spoke to her. Honestly when I watched this show my parents were in a shitty relationship so I thought this wasn’t even that bad. I can see how it can be normalized to some people. Also they all tried to get them to break up but they couldn’t force them and they kept getting back to together so… not much they could have done about two adults choosing to stay together.

The late 2000's/very early 2010's were insane.

Ron was a POS to Sammi. Yeah there was all kinds of abuse. Jersey shore was a view into the lives of these guys, who aren't good people to begin with.
It wasn't like reality shows nowadays where you're not allowed to say certain things or it just gets left out. Trigger warnings for domestic abuse, loud noises, gay phobia, whatever.
Italians are conservative and old fashioned. Even the younger, second or third generation ones. No they don't like fatties. No they don't care for lbgt stuff. Yes they have ironic views on female promiscuity.
But it was reality TV. It was more reality than the curated shows we get nowadays.
Ron and Sam's relationship, better or worse, was probably relatable to lots of people at times. Same with the "phobias" and language/sayings that were "so problematic".
You don't know how many families/groups are like this when they hang out in private. Again, relatable.

I perceived the same thing with Vinnie and Deena. That phenomenon is unfortunately kind of a thing I’ve personally noticed in the mental health community. It’s like how people in recovery love to try to one-up each other’s most intense and dangerous drug/alcohol stories. People with mental health issues will try to invalidate or belittle others that struggle with similar issues instead of thinking back to when they were in the throes of their struggle and using that to empathize.
deena reminds me to not take advice from miserable people. everyone else on this show has horrible relatioinships and they're all calling her a loser for being emotionally intelligent.

Justice for Deena, they treated her so weirdly and always had double standards. To me she was the sweetest amongst all of them. I hated how they tried to comfort Vinny and coddled him when he had anxiety but basically rolled their eyes and laughed at Dee. They made he apologize when she was discovering herself and even when she was just making out with that guy in Italy, in her ROOM(which the guys did all the time).
They always made fun of her and called her stupid/dumb. I felt for her when she cried about it and it was just basically brushed over. She’s so sweet and protective of her loved ones, so I adore her sm.

I’m so glad you addressed Pauly and Vinny gaslighting Deena during season 4. They were completely awful to her yet painted as these fun, lovable guys who were in the right for how they were treating her. Season 4 was a dark season for sure.

That season on Italy definitely broke them, not breaking the show but breaking them as persons.
Nicole's drinking and Mike's drug abuse got worse, Jenni started to have more issues with Roger, Sammi and Ronnie reaching their breaking point.
Their time in Italy was supposed to be fun and exciting but it was a bit nerve-racking to see them that bad. Watching Jenni being so scared when Mike and Ronnie fought, covering her head to not get hurt because she got trapped in the middle, Deena pulling Sam away to stop her from getting involved and possibly getting hurt was so sad.
Mike in his neck brace moping around the house will *never* cease to be funny to me!! You could show me those clips a thousand times and I will still laugh!! These were the most unintentionally funny people on the planet!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There was more self-hatred from women between 70-2000s, but as someone who was late teens and then very early twenties when this show came on the air, these people were like a different species.

Also they may have said misogynistic stuff but ultimately they all stuck out for the girls when time came to it. They were still friends at the end of the day and I think that’s why we all kinda bonded with them too. Not really the worst thing in the world.

Just wanted to say as someone who ingests an unhealthy amount of youtube and has since like 2018, this easily has to be one of my favorite videos ever. It was in my recommended for over a week and I never thought I'd watch it bc I've seen the show 7 times and thought I already knew everything I could know, but finally gave it a chance bc I was sick all weekend and am so happy I did. The ability to not only retell everything objectively, give huge amounts of behind the scenes/production insights (for instance after season 5 they had been filming for 120 consecutive days which is insane), and also just capture the cultural impact it had at the time really made me feel like i was reliving my middle school/high school years all over again was just perfect. You clearly put an incredible amount of hardwork into this 2 part series and it was more than worth it, thank you for letting me relive one of my favorite shows and making it seem like I was reliving parts of my childhood

The Comeback
season four was the craziest season they’ve filmed and not many people take it in consideration about behind the scenes for the way how the cast acted. jenni had just suffered from a miscarriage. mike was on and off drugs. the constant verbal and sometimes physical fights between ron and sam. the cast was overall just beginning to get very tired of not only the show but of each other.
I have to say while I HATE how she defends Ron and villifies Sam, Jenni is such a real one especially in season 4 I respect her for always watching out for her friends.
I give Jenni a lot of shit for how she treats Sam, but later on when they bond as like the two reasonable more mature girls in the house it's really sweet
I think Jenny herself was used to being treated like shit so she didn’t see Ron as being that bad. Honestly the only reason Jenni and Sammi didn’t get along was Ron! They would have been best friends since the get go had he not been there or not gotten with Sam, since they were the more serious two out of the four. Ron really ruined everything 😭
I’ll start by saying that I am in no way taking up for or defending Ron in any way. But I think the roommates reaction to Ron is because they saw things & a side of him we didn’t see. It’s well known producers of reality TV shows have storylines for each of the cast & edit footage accordingly. So, I think it just comes down to them knowing a side of him we don’t.

There's not a secret version of him that's better, we got plenty of moments where he was fun and a good friend. That's just much less important than him being abusive to his partners. Wow in season 5 you can really see Mikes slide into pill addiction. You can hear how high he is in his voice and when hes talking gibberish. Also explains his erratic behavior and mood swings. Oxy 80s were everywhere at this time and they were so addictive. I remember them being literally everywhere we all did them.
The paranoia really stood out to me. A lot of drug addicts are paranoid out of their mind when on their drug of choice. Makes them think everybody is out to get them. Mix that in with mental illness, and boy have I seen that go south.
idk how i’ve never seen anyone talk about it but there’s a specific scene where i was having SO MUCH ANXIETY cause homie was starting to look like a tweaker, he was walking around the house non stop talking to himself then randomly comes in and says hi to snooki after she threw a wine bottle at him? the rest of the season he doesn’t do it as much but he talks to himself a couple more times it’s so crazy.
It’s nice to see that he completely turned his life around. That takes a lot of effort and persistent and it’s great to see him do that.

Several people who worked on set said the cast were on drugs constantly in the first couple of seasons. I think that's just a common thing with reality TV stars. Their lives are being blasted for everybody to see and there's probably immense pressure.

As someone who was in high school during peak Jersey shore era and hasn’t revisited it since, I’m at least relieved to see that Sam is being treated with way more respect and understanding now than when it was airing. I remember their relationship was joked about constantly and the whole “Ron stahhp!” meme was a thing and I just feel so weird and gross about what my friends and I probably contributed to that narrative. I’m glad we can all call it what it is now as a textbook abusive relationship allowed to play out and recycle for views.

as much as I didn't want to believe that Snooki and Mike hooked up everything that happened in this season surrounding those allegations pointed to it being very true. ESPECIALLY when Jenni said "Mike told everyone about what you guys did." Leaves very little to speculate about. It's stated so matter-of-factly. Overall, I remember season 4 being really depressing and the main reason why I stopped watching. It spiked my anxiety for them being in another country at what seemed (to me at least) peak burnout and gave me way too much secondhand embarassment. Because I hadn't seen seasons 5 or 6, I'm glad to be getting a retelling of them lol
Jenni also said "Mike's giving details. Mike's giving YOUR details." to Snooki, which basically confirms it. Jenni gave it away lol, but it was also her being tired of Snooki's shit, Snooki was being a bad friend to her all season while Jenni was going through a rough time (Had a miscarriage).

When Jersey Shore was aired in Mexico, no one had any idea about the whole context behind it, like the Guido and Guidette thing, the Italian-American culture, the rite of passage of renting a house and working with youngsters in the shore, and neither the other shows that helped shape what this show was. So we just took it as a crazy show about young people partying, and I never knew (to this day) why they'd taken them to Italy, I just though it was to make it more interesting. It's funny because the cultural fenomena was totally different and we experienced it in a totally different way, plus it wasn't so popular here, since it was only aired on MTV and many people couldn't afford cable TV.
I mean… they constantly talked about how they were Italian… I don’t know how you misses that.

It’s weird how body standards varies across different countries cause we’re in from they were always considered physically attractive. Especially Deena I remember a friend of mine having a huge crush on her when we were watching the show. Being short, curvy, and tanned is like the eternal standard in Latin communities so I was kinda surprised to see Americans always calling them ugly.
I keep watching this recap. Ronnie is nuts. I'm proud of Sammie for fighting back and not letting him win in a way, even though she was entangled in the toxic relationship and couldn't leave, she stood her ground and kept trying to respect herself and him.
My favorite moment of the entire series will always be when Mike rams his head into the wall and then they just have the shot of him sitting on the couch all depressed with a neckbrace and sunglasses on.
I waited on Mike “The Situation” one time at my first waitressing job. He ordered lobster tacos and a blue moon and so did the girl he was with. He tipped a normal amount. The next day he came in, we had the exact same awkward interactions, and he ordered the same thing as the day before and I never saw him again.

My family has a Snookie Christmas ornament that we hang on the tree every year. My senior year, our school won a private DJ set from Pauly D. For all it's faults, this show was such a phenomenon and really invaded all areas of life at the time. You could not escape it. Thank you for such a great retrospective! Amazing as always.

People can be in denial all they want, Mike was telling the truth about sleeping with Snooki. If you notice, every time Snooki gets caught in a lie, she acts that way. ( this situation and when Angelina was reading the texts she was sent during that whole blow-up on Family Vacation ) She screams and screams but can barely deny it when the truth is in her face so she runs. I believed Mike when it first aired and I believe him now.
If you noticed how Snooki reacted to Mike blowing her up season 5. She kept saying “I trusted you and you betrayed me.” If it never happened her vocabulary would have been different along with her body language. In Italy when Jenni first told Snooki Jenni gave it away the way she said it. We all knew Snooki did something and Mike wasn’t lying. But Mike wanted to expose Snooki and he did so. The fact Snooki kept denying it especially up until now it’s ridiculous. Something happened. Just admit it. Ngl I believed Snooki for the longest time (because I hated Mike and his track record made me refuse to believe him) but seeing how she reacted exactly the same to the texts made me accept the truth.
@@MariU9 Yeah, Mike lied a lot on the show so I can see why people didn't believe. It's just... At some point, I was able to see Mike's tells. I believe he was totally sincere about having feelings for Snooki. When she rejected him in Italy, that's when he decided to get petty and vindictive.
Can we acknowledge that Deena literally MARRIES that guy she’s upset over not being able to see?? We feel so badly for Snooki in S4 in the “where’s my boyfriend” scene because that’s her future husband but do not give Deena that same understanding.
Now that I know Mike had a huge pill addiction in Italy I understand his chaos a lot more. He slammed his head into the wall thinking they would give him the drugs he couldn't sneak over.
Now, understanding Jenni in Itali and why she was the way that she was, it breaks my heart. I honestly think Jenni is over looked for how mature she is and tries to look for the better in everything.

Especially when there's a poor baby involved. Thank the lord that Ron never got Sam pregnant, if she had that tie to him forever she might not have escaped
What a lovely jubbly wander down memory lane. I certainly didn't plan on spending four-and-a-half hours watching a Jersey Shore recap when I started searching for something to watch at midnight. Smashing video, the effort you put into it must be unreal.
I think that everyone needs a friend like Jenni in their life. Someone that will always forgive you and always be there for you, but will ALWAYS tell you when you're acting like an idiot.
You can start to see much more of the poorly hidden coke and molly usage in season 4. Keep an eye on how sweaty and wide-eyed Ron is literally ALL the time.

@@SocialExperiment232 Vicky and Ricci is actually Ron and Sam levels of sad to watch, she was a shell of herself by the end and even after he was gone it took her a while to recover. She's a lot like Sam too in the glowup she had once she bounced back and matured

Looking back, it's kinda sad that all of the men in Jersey Shore have at least 2 red flags each. Pauly is probably the least offensive one and he's still messy as hell.

@@kalindastrome2182 Mike made a whole conspiracy board and brought it on vacation behind his wife's back, it was the Angelina conspiracy board for that whole situation of her showing up to fuck a guy and ring cams caught it, neighbors caught her on cell phone video and it was ALL sent to Mike. This is before she ever said there were problems in the marriage etc.... It was hilarious what Mike was doing but I would of killed him if I was her. 😂😂😂

It's worth watching that season though, the one after Angelinas wedding and they were all assholes at, past the vacation Angelina took her husband on. I know you said you didn't watch to watch it all but that season was the funniest and craziest so far. I've never stopped watching this show. I absolutely love it.

You know what is something you forgot to mention, in Italy they said only Snooki and Pauly can drive them because the car is a stick shift, and “no one else” knows how to drive stick, but after the Ron and Mike fight, we see Ron driving to the gym. Also im almost 99% but the BMW that Ron drove to the house in Season 3 is a stick shift.
