🙋♂️ TAG SOMEONE WHO BROKE THEIR ANKLE/FOOT AND HAD/HAS A CAST 🙋♀️

🎈 So you fell and twisted your ankle and your foot swelled up like a balloon. You find out you have an ankle fracture and you're sidelined for 4-6 weeks in a cast. Time goes by, you see the doctor and he says the bone is healed, you're good to go! You get the cast removed, but you realize your calf is shriveled up and tiny compared to the other side. Even worse, it hurts to move your foot, your ankle feels weak, you can't even put weight on your foot, now what?!

📝 After getting a cast off, you have to get the ankle, foot, and toes moving again and using your leg as much as you can! With your average non-complicated ankle fracture, gentle introduction to range of motion and strengthening exercises in every direction is exactly what your ankle and foot wants and needs. Hi, is this same exercise for ancle atlf ligament break

i have a complete tear of atlf ligament in my ancle so my doctor plastered on it for a month and now it is going to remove so can you tell me any exercise

@@GwuapoRBX i am now 3 weeks after my cast and my ankle is still not normal
@@monkii3807 have you been babying it? Try to put some pressure on it and try to walk for example with your crutches so it balances your weight but try to walk cause you need weight on your bones so your bones produce calcium but I just got out of my cast about a 5 days ago and it’s feeling better but I have been swimming so if you can try to go into a swimming pool also have you been going to physical therapy? But if nothing works go to your doctor
@@GwuapoRBXi mean i can do things with it but its not the same as the other ankle, yes im going to fysio, no im not babying it, i do daily streches en execises

Cast off but still pain on that side which was cracked while moving but if i touched ut there's nothing
