Great tutorial thanks a lot!!
This was a phenomenal comprehensive review of why it's important, what exercises, frequency and duration and the escalation to more difficult weight-bearing exercises.
I have ruptured my plantar fascia three times now. The last time I was put in a soft boot for 8-10 weeks. My podiatrist never suggested physical therapy to recover. As a result, I continued to have pain and discomfort to the degree that I couldn't walk. Normally they put me back into a boot for another 6 to 8 weeks. I came out of that. The same issues.
What did the boot do, it stripped my leg from the glute down to the foot of any strength and affected mobility. Mobility. The most obvious observation is that when standing on my right foot I cannot get onto my toes. No matter how hard I try, I cannot lift my heel, not even to slip a piece of paper underneath of it. That's weakness and it's weakness that stresses the ligaments and joints in the foot.
Your video covers so much of what I wish I had before I put on a boot and after I took off the boot. I'm a year and a half into this miserable experience. I have spent thousands of dollars on orthotics and images. I have now seen four doctors, two podiatrists and two orthopedic specialists and I'm on my third round of physical therapy.
Just because they're doctors doesn't mean that they have the answers or that they're going to give you good treatment that will solve your problem. I can honestly say my first podiatrist really did a poor job of evaluating and coming up with a good treatment plan from a to z. I got steroid injections. I even had my blood extracted spun and re-injected into my foot. Again, thousands of dollars spent many hours of work lost and it's taken me completely out of my activities, like tennis, boxing, swimming, running, hiking. I feel cheated and demoralized.
I really appreciate the video you put together here. I'm definitely subscribing. Thank you so much
Great content, instant like 👍

Thanks a lot
Gracias, muy útil.
One word ...from France.....Excellent !
actually a great video
I was crying from joy when I first saw your video; for people dealing with flat feet I also suggest "The Foot Fix" by Yamuna Zake, it provides the way to alternate the way we stand and walk.
for the rebound jumps (plyos) I would suggest using/adding a jumprope which makes the exercise even better and more complex (and you include coordination + balance). Probably one of the most complete video about foot & ankles strengthening on YT. Amazing work
Great video by the way.
Thank you for this fantastci video with so much descriptions and information. Follow & 👍
Thank you so much. In my left foot i've fractured the heel, first meta in 4 places, dislocated the 5th and broken the 3rd/4th. 3 different injuries and spent a lot of times on crutches/walking boots. I'm having terrible troubles with my left leg/knee/hip and I think it's stemming from my foot. It is always painful, weak and doesn't feel normal to walk on. I can barely control toes independently, going to get to work!
I loved all of the information in this video! I’m currently in PT for plantar fasciitis and once that is healed, I will most definitely be incorporating foot strengthening into my weekly workouts. I’ve been dealing with it for 9 YEARS, and my focus really changed from anti-inflammatory to degenerative when I stumbled onto newer research. Building adequate foot strength is so important to avoid recurring PF and I wish my podiatrist would have told me to KEEP strengthening my foot, instead of suggesting corticosteroid injections, custom orthotics, etc.
Thanks for your video!! 😊
Yo how is the of going, I gotta rebuild mine as well
Totally agree that podiatrists need to expand their horizons ever so much!
I’m about there in recovery too, working on it for already 1,5 year. I still have to do the light excersies, but I’m pain free. This is the best info found.
I ended up having a PRP injection done in March because I had a low-grade tear of the PF at my heel, an MRI showed. It’s been a long recovery, but I was told it would be. The initial pain has definitely started to diminish, but the immobilization I had to do for two weeks caused me some issues with my Achilles tendon and my posterior tibial tendon. Back to PT now and having success.
If you strengthen your foot, you wouldn't need the podiatrist anymore. Then what would they do? A healed customer is no longer a customer. That is, unfortunately, how our health care system works.
keep rocking
Wow. So much valuable information on just the foot. It will take me some time to digest and practise. Thank you so much. I am currently trying to rehabilitate my hip, and realised, that I cannot do it without also looking at the knee and the foot. The foot on the side of the problem hip is pointing outwards, and most pressure lands on the outside foot rather than the middle and the big toe. My inner voice has been telling me that I will not solve my hip problem without solving my foot position.....and then I came accross this video.
👍
This was very helpful. Thanks a lot!
I'm having problems with my foot . Thank you.🇧🇷
I walk barefoot in the nature and this helps me too much to strong my feet’s 👍🍀
🤩 wow! Very generous! 💯%
I became more aware of my feet muscles after four main injuries and one pinched toe nerve. 😅 this video is by far the most complete and thorough for feet muscles of steel! Thanks
Thanks!
Thank you!
Excellent

Best foot video on the internet
I haven seen yet, but am just about to watch the video after extensive search for it. The old one from 2020 got deleted and I just noticed something was missing form the running playlist. Luckily had a printscreen somewhere to confirm that I found the channel.
Congratulations Sir, particularly for for your extra video presentations, comprehensible even even by those not speaking English. However, in my humble oppinion, a separation into beginner, intermediate or advanced sportsman/women level could have helped more
Amazing video
