I am really nervous about setting up "Store Locations." We have one business page with an address right now, so if I go in and remove that address and set up a new location under the main page, am I going to have to create an entirely new page for this location? How does it differ from my main page? Is this going to be confusing for customers? We are a shopping complex with ten small businesses inside, and I've been wanting to use the Store Traffic objective, but this issue has kept me from it. I was so excited about this video, but can't use it until I resolve this issue. Maybe you have one on setting up store locations? Help!

You can schedule your ads if you select lifetime-budget instead of daily budget

Do I have to pay by my own for the daily budget for Facebook ads ??
This seems great for tracking foot traffic to a store; however, what do you recommend if a business wants to track foot traffic but only has one location? TIA!
I'm trying to run an advertising for a painting company 2 ad sets for lead campaign and it seems like 15 a day is too little, it keeps giving me the sign of "ads may not get any leads" unless I bump the budget to 50 bucks a day, the targeting is 800.000 people I dont get what's going on
If they aren't performing you could also try targeting people who "live in the area" instead of people that were in the area - at some point. Especially for restaurants.

the Open In Map feature is available for local businesses with physical locations that have been sync'd through the back end of Business Manager, the same applies for the dynamic population of addresses in the ad description field :) Note, you must selection Store Visits as the Campaign Objective to also access this - hope that helps!

I have as well a problem with the "Store Traffic" option. It says: " Before you can use the Store Traffic objective, you need to add your store details. To do this, find Business locations in the Business Manager menu."

It sounds like you are having trouble setting up the Store Traffic objective in Business Manager. To set up this objective, you need to go to the Business Manager menu and click on Business Locations. From there, you will be able to enter your store details, such as the address and opening times. Once you have completed this step, you should be able to use the Store Traffic objective.
question - could this same technique be used for Local Churches? If so it would be in the promotion of a church event i.e. Christmas services

Really great video but quick question...what if you you don't have a FB Business page for that business and your goal is to drive traffic to a Lead Magnet on a landing Page?

I have an Online Guitar Course and that's what I'm more interested in driving traffic to. Not so much myself as an Artist.

How do you change your Facebook Page to a Local Business?
Why would five miles be too large? I'm pretty shocked by that. Is this a downtown area or something? I guess this is dependent on the population density in the area, right, and not a hard-and-fast rule. Or maybe when you say foot traffic you mean literally people who are on foot, walking by, not driving. Ahh... I see... you addressed this later in the video. Thanks!

The "mention this ad" is not wise. People will see the ad, and just show up. You thinking you can say "bring up this ad" is YOU being unsure about the power of advertising. We know that ads work.

I am trying to apply it now for one campaign for my store, but when I sue the trick for very specific locations - excluding sourronding areas I get this notification of error: Invalid Geo Targeting: It is not allowed to use custom locations alongside excluded geo locations in targeting for Dynamic Local Ads. (#1885254)
