Hi Ben, I think that if you don't want to target near cities you can simply select "target cities only" and put the name of the city you're located, instead of using a targeting area. As always, great content, cheers!

I have watched your youtube videos a few times now, but although
they are
very succinct, I find I am still confused regarding the best course of action
I should take regarding being able to maximise from the Facebook advertising
facilities.
In a nutshell what I am attempting to achieve is to get a charity song to number one
over the Christmas period.
This is 100% non-profit venture with any underfunding or overspending on advertising//promotion
will have to be funded by me personally
My question to you please is from your list of 13 possible courses of action which would
you recommend I pursue in order in order to possibly reach my goal.
Any advice would be very appreciated.
I know its not relevant spesific to this video but i have a subject i cant find any solution anywhere about the delivery of the budget
I mean like lets say Facebook for instance, lets say i chose purchase event and im testing few products in the same time and/or few creatives in the same ad set why Facebook or any other advertising platform is putting the budget in some spesific product or specific creative than the other even if the metrics is worse like creative A is has worse ctr and cpc than creative B like the advertising platform don't care about the metrics all they care is about who will give me the most purchases in a sooner time regardless the CPA ?
Im trying to understand things deeper and maybe like if i will understand it better i will just turn things off or on in the beginning instead to wait to things be happened

Had one question: with regards to instagram post insights, I noticed I can only view basic data on each post and no info on activity/audience. Is this most likely because my profile is relatively new or there is not enough data yet to establish these numbers (albeit there was a reach of 1000+ accounts on the post)?

These tips are super insightful! Do you have any recommendations on how to record conversions from the Facebook ad campaigns for service based local businesses? Currently, I can only think of sharing a promo code in the Facebook ad itself and record how many times it was redeemed in store but was wondering if there might be another method. Thank you!
Thanks a lot. Yes promo code is the best way.
You can also compare the overall customer volume pre and post campaign.
Great video! What about if your business only applies to a certain on a postcode basis which have a low audience within them?

Facebook disabled our ad account for calling out our location, it was violating their personal attributions, then after requesting a review again they disabled oujr manager account.

Yes I would but it may be more limited - particularly with targeting.
Hey Ben amazing video thanks so much! Just quickly I am about to start running ads for an estate agent in the U.K . Does the special ad category for housing apply in England because on my clients ad manager it says the special ad category is only for social and political issues, doesn't mention housing...

Hey Ben LOVE UR VIDS! I am from Denmark(4,8mil on fb) and I was wondering if it would be good to stack each lookalike into one adset? For example when testing - 1%3%5%7%10% of custom audience video95% into 1 adset to get higher populated adsets(1% is 48k)? thank you!!

Yes, although I would just add new ad creative to existing ad sets.

No I wouldn't - I'm happy for Facebook to target those people it thinks are most interested.

@@BenHeath A lot of us "artrepreneurs" use Gumroad to sell digital products and they recently introduced the Facebook Pixel in their platform - it's easy to setup but not so straightforward to analyze. Maybe it can be interesting!

Thanks for your reply. We don't have a website so we rely on people to message us on Facebook to arrange deliveries and we take cash or card payment on delivery. Should I still use conversions? Or traffic or messages? Thanks.

Yes you can but it may not be that effective for overcoming ad fatigue - it's usually best to change up the creative.

I think if I made new Facebook account they will consider it fake account and will close it
