    Hm, I've liked the 2.4r2 videos so far, but I feel like this one missed the mark a bit. You could view the previous videos as a nice detailed visual guide. I can't say the same for this one. It's mainly due to the wiring. The LED wiring was good, but the rest of the wiring was definitely lacking quite a bit.
    It wasn't mentioned that you had to splice on new connectors or extend the Revo Voron's hotend wires. Sure, not everyone will have a Revo Voron hotend in their build, but I feel like since it is the case in this video it should have been covered. I'm sure some people that plan on following this video series for their build will plan to use the same components. This will be a bit of a surprise to them.
    The wiring of the toolhead PCB was basically skipped over entirely. There wasn't any detail shown for that. This also makes me nervous for the actual wiring portion of the upcoming electronics video(s). Will those also be just a quick glance at the wiring or will it be more detailed so we can actually see where everything plugs into?

      Hi @jeremytodd1, I'm really sorry this video didn't live up to your expectations. We take your feedback seriously and will take steps to improve going forward. This video was actually released out of order, and in hindsight, we should have held off until the rest of the 2.4 build series is published. This video was intended to be a guide to upgrading from the the original Afterburner to the Stealthburner + CW1 Combo, *after* completing the stock build. I think all of your concerns are addressed in upcoming videos in the 2.4 build series, including PCB Wiring, Revo modifications, etc.

      @@MapleLeafMakers No worries! I'll continue to watch the upcoming videos as they will be very useful during my upcoming build. Just figured I'd share the bit of feedback that I did have. Thanks for making the videos!

    Hi, great tutorial, but the necessary hardware for the Stealthburner CW1 (leds and fans etc.) are included in the LDO kit or do you need something else? Thank you

      Hey! Everything you need for Stealthburner with Clockwork1 is included in the upgrade kit. The only thing you need to do 'extra' is run an extra wire for the LED's.

      I think there is a Stealthburner mod to put the LGX (not lite) in there, but it's not official.
      We haven't looked at any stealth burner mods yet, we'll check it out once SB is finalized! Subscribe so you don't miss the video!

      Ldo just posted a slightly enlarged version of the cover for stealthburner+cw1, as some people said this one was a little snug fit. You can find it pinned in the ldo_motors channel in the voron discord.

      We mix it up a lot. This particular video is using eSun Black and Sparkle Flourescent Red.

    • @MapleLeafMakers
      @MapleLeafMakers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you use CW1 with the stealthburner, then yes, if you want to use CW2 you need a new X carriage.

    Hi! I think that it might be funny (and more enjoyable to watch) if you pretend to get you hand caught in the belt and have fake blood shoot out, or something.

      I don't think we have the special effects budget for that just yet :)
