All these fantastic immigrants working hard in Canada. This is the heart and soul of Canadian. All Canadians (with the exception of First Nations peoples) were immigrants to this country. This is what immigrants bring. So as an immigrant multiple great granddaughter, I will never understand the tendency for Canadians to be opposed to immigrants.
As a Lakota woman, we are not against immigrants whatsoever but I can unequivocally assure immigrants get treated far better than your average Canadian especially if you are a pale Canadian! At first I did not believe this until I went with various Canadian shopping in terms of conducting an experiment to disprove this notion! Sadly I was wrong! I discovered 3 major problems! 1. Immigrants often expected pale Canadians to be racist! I found 1 pale lady that was a “ racist “! In three different stores the last persons to be served were either pale folks or Indigenous folks 2. Folks had no problem being rude to Canadians calling them entitled, spoiled, ugly devils, or lazy! Actually I was shocked and did not want to believe this! I went undercover essentially and sadly this was the actual case! WOW! Yes I met entitled Canadian that were pale but here is the ratio without revealing which ethnic group they were from- 78% of males from a certain group insisted that pale woman come back and get served by their woman! Calgary and Edmonton were the absolute worst! 10% of females from the same group were women-sadly not one single apology for being rude came forth and that saddened me! I found that the politest people in relation to Canadians were the South Korean people! They treated everyone very well including the above mentioned group! 3. There was an assumption that Canadians had money and most Canadians I met were hardworking everyday folks that were treated poorly in their own country! As a Native Lakota woman, I have been at the brunt of vulgar verbal racist attacks but admittedly few were from poor pale folks! Canadians must unite and work together against the rule of a very dark government agenda and fight for our freedoms! Classical Liberal here but what I see is not Democracy or even benevolent dictatorship but a cold hard vicious purge of Canadian freedoms! I welcome all immigrants but I also have a heart for strong hardworking Canadians and am very saddened by the arrogance of ignorance that I have encountered!

This was interesting to watch. This posted in 2014, living in Toronto is a hell of a lot tougher now. That pay cheque wouldn't even cover rent here now! Cost of living going up, but pay cheques staying the damn same!
Did anyone else notice that at the beginning when he is first putting on his belly that the camera had to pan down his sort of 6 pack? Thought that was ludicrous.
this is a perfect video that shows how lower staff do their works and their manager had their first experience to do that. it really shows how lower staff working hard to make money for them. my thought so. it's clearly nowadays that many managers just pick by their educations levels but not their experience
This guy really does not appreciate his workers enough. They all deserved so much more, they treated his business like it was their own and were really making sure he gained and not list profits and he acted like a spoilt brat
In every one of the episodes ive watched, each employee is great and has som crazy struggle they happen to want to open up to a complete stranger about. It's not realistic and definitely used to promote these CEOs businesses. It works too because I found a Freshii near me and want to try it. I never knew it existed!

Can I say we have freahii in MN but I wish they have more ,it taste so great but there is not many of them. It’s really fresh and clean. COVID-19 sucks. I wish that they had more locations.
5 minutes into the show and I can already tell he has 2 problems: 1) His attitude - 100% ego & zero human sensitivity 2) His "board of directors" - too young, too passive, I can imagine their meetings : they all say "yes" to whatever he says because they are too inexperienced and weak. I hope I am 100% wrong... because I have not sat down and shared a meeting with them, but I would NOT be surprised if I am right.
Lisa Proust: My first sense of his 'real' personality was when he went in to brief his H/O staff (BDO as you say) and he spoke robotically. He talked at them- not to them. Finishes, what feels like a scripted speech, and gets up and leaves in one motion. Genuine connection is tough for some people but as a CEO I think this reflects his age and experience.

Miss MOJO you can reuse the bag.You can't the the box that's expensive
I think the purpose of the bag is not only to mix the ingredients better but also to make the bowl look cleaner and not look messy
It’s because remember he hated doing dishes that’s why
Imagine the health risks with the bowl, with allergies and such.
26:35 I was walking around and saw his car when this was filmed in Vancouver. I couldn't believe it!
the worst money given to employee in history of this show hahahahah
zamirhans yunos you took the words out of my mouth what a fucking cheap ass shitty biz owner. He can suck a fat one. I felt like he said here is a free beer on me now get your ass back to work. Dick boss
Given what an asshole he is I'm not suprised.
All the Canadian bosses are cheap as fuck.
Getting your rent paid for a year is huge!
I hope the best for all of them!
Was the ab closeup really necessary?
Yes, that was actually the only thing going for him.
@@SilentificOpus lol
When they told him he'd be wearing the fat suit, I imagine he demanded the ab shot or it was a dealbreaker.
I Thought the same thing lol
tell me about it selling fresh meat with the freshiit
“It doesn’t hurt to get friendly service”… Said with a very monotone voice and deadeyes
You're wrong and disgusting
Shame on you
A tomato cutter and $2000. Douchiest boss ever
MAXIMUS172 look at his house in the beginning. This is not a big company. It’s more than what you could’ve given/
@@Kyle_P2022 he's stingy!!!
@@Kyle_P2022 Are you a good friend of his?
Josh Popichak A good friend of who’s? You’re trying to be a smart ass but make no sense🤣🤣 A lot of CEO’s aren’t cash rich. Observe the bosses house at the start. Doesn’t take a genius. I’m sure the staff were still grateful. I know I would be.
SunKissNicole And you’re ugly
I actually meet one of the people. I walked into Freshii and I said you were on undercover boss. I won't say the location but the person still works there, I don't think that person was well compensated thought for the work they do.
the last lady got a great deal...
SirXavior *met*
Wat a mean boss
This was interesting to watch. This posted in 2014, living in Toronto is a hell of a lot tougher now. That pay cheque wouldn't even cover rent here now! Cost of living going up, but pay cheques staying the damn same!
Did anyone else notice that at the beginning when he is first putting on his belly that the camera had to pan down his sort of 6 pack? Thought that was ludicrous.
If i had his body i would do the same.
He looks like a crkhed
Yeah, there's no reason you should ever see your boss's abs in a tv show.
this is a perfect video that shows how lower staff do their works and their manager had their first experience to do that. it really shows how lower staff working hard to make money for them. my thought so. it's clearly nowadays that many managers just pick by their educations levels but not their experience
How happy his board of directors would have been when he told them he would be "out of office" for a week.......PARTY!!!!
Hes Amazing...Generousity is priceless in the Heart of people you help..Share your blessings and more blessings to come...
“Nothings hotter than a soup 3-way” idk who this man is but he is the funniest owner I’ve ever seen
Amazing employees but most amazing Boss u have! Amazing people !
"DONT USE MY CUTTING BOARD" had me dying laughing
Omgosh! Beautiful man! Ur crowns await you in heaven! 🙏
He has the most amazing dedicated workers
So cold maaan . Never seen anything like this before on this show
Apoorv Shukla total dousxhe
I love this show but this is the WORST CEO i have ever seen on the show... im never gonna eat at freshii
Yeah he really fucked himself on that one
YES .
I agree with that!!
how could I not Cry! such a heart! such sensitivity,
This guy really does not appreciate his workers enough.
I've never heard of freshii
Scarlett Whisperer ASMR no don't compare a yummy ass fast food place , freshii to a monstrous sandwhich orgy hole
Just think of an expensive salad. Makecit at home and save $1500 per year..AFTER TAX DOLLARS.
Thanks for it it
It's in Canada that's y
SunKissNicole I’m from Canada and have never heard of it.
Pretty good for the guy to get to go Sri Lanka then his parents to visit him in Canada. Seemed really happy with that.
why was there confusion with the pick up area? there was a giant green sign that said PICK UP HERE with an arrow😒
Exactly
I love how he went to Ottawa, maybe I should have applied. Could have been on the show 👀
I would have thought he'd pay the debt Ori owed to her father
Really good food at Freshii and I have always had great service. Have been to 3 locations and very consistent quality.
2k and a tomato cutter. Well, better than nothing. But honestly, if I was them and would've watched other episodes of undercover boss I'd be pissed 😂
Plus flying her to Stockholm soo.
Amazing, I could not look away! My heart is full, of what I just saw! Truly inspiring!
Overall it appears that he has some really great employees working for the company.
May the Lord bless this CEO.. OMG... I cried watching.. The help he gave to the single mom and the guy from Sri Lanka made me cry.. I was literally shaking.. May God bless him and his kids and wife 🙏 He's a very caring person...
This guy: I really appreciated the mom and pop delis so I decided to make a big corporation to wipe out small businesses 🙃🙃
I caught that as well!
It's called life and competitive. Pretty sure other big companies would love to wipe him out if he wasn't being competitive enough.
Haha
i like that he was basically trolling everyone the entire time
This Freshii boss is really an ass. Had to change his attitude. Should have sent someone else to go undercover.
Perhaps you should walk away, a come back later at a calmer time, and look another time from a different perspective, a different frame of mind!
@@clairecolvin4077 Perhaps you should learn to use spellcheck....and grammar.
It was all an act he decided to put on
It's called being in Character. 🙄🤦♀️
@@drozycoder2007 I don't buy it. He's using that as an excuse for when he gets frustrated
Instead of throwing away the ripped wraps and orders with mistakes, they should seriously consider giving them away to people who can't afford fresh food
Finally!!!!good common sense .
Tiffany They could literally package them and donate them to a shelter. It does work.
They are a business. Not a charity! It's up to them what to do with produce!
Honestly, this boss is such a brat I don't think I'll be going to Freshii anymore.
Brat is not the word...
Yeah, but TH-cam doesn't like it when you call someone an out of touch prissy bitch.
Feels like a 40 minute ad, every conflict that arises is about how everything is too fresh
The employees are great and love the company...that says it all
Can I say we have freahii in MN but I wish they have more ,it taste so great but there is not many of them. It’s really fresh and clean. COVID-19 sucks. I wish that they had more locations.
5 minutes into the show and I can already tell he has 2 problems:
1) His attitude - 100% ego & zero human sensitivity
2) His "board of directors" - too young, too passive, I can imagine their meetings : they all say "yes" to whatever he says because they are too inexperienced and weak.
I hope I am 100% wrong... because I have not sat down and shared a meeting with them, but I would NOT be surprised if I am right.
Lisa Proust Correct
ha ha - so I am not the only one seeing it. Good to know :) Cheers
Who cares if this company fails? Haha
I don't think you are wrong. I picked up the exact same thing and I am the CDO for a multi-national tech company in Asia.
Loved this episode! Good job for getting into character & getting a real view of how things worked. Wonderful ending!
of course everyone is going to work hard when you have a camera in your face
snapacasedd you must've never seen Under Cover Boss US. There have been plenty of employees who were fired by their performance on camera with the boss.
I've watched a ton of these eps, never saw even one person being fired. Even the worst get another chance, because it's not supposed to be a downer series.
Alan Hope there's a few in the US version that have gotten fired but they were truly gawd awfully
There were few. But I assume that is probability of any job that ,some are just born assholes, entitled etc.
Watch the one with Retro Fitness
Awesome company..tear jerker.
I love ori! She manages like me. Get it done right and I'm the best boss you can ever have.
Thank you so much :) Sending you a big hug!

its the 3-way soup for me🤣😂🤣
Right!!!! It's either hot or cold, what's the third warm, lol
He’s a snob and doesn’t want to get his hands dirty. Has he ever actually had a real job? I agree, his staff is to young. Get some older people in there that have had life experiences.
It's all an act you dumbfuck
Omg I’ve watch this whole episode and as a New Yorker that guy is an awesome human being ❤️🙏🏼 my dream is to visit Canada 🇨🇦 and experience that quality life out there .
Ori made me cry.
Used to think, a certain sub shop, was fresh, then standards went down around how fresh their food is and 7/10 subways I was getting had rotten lettuce, tomatoes and old, really old banna peppers.
So glad when freshii hit the market
Love freshii.
