The Know-It-All passive for Exemplar is hoenstly one of the best passives in the game and helps alot for characters that focus in INT stats. Know-It-All = "gives +(2+ INT/2) bonus stats to Armor, Armor penetration, dodge, dodge reduction, crit chance, crit damage, and parry." This is a amazing passive for players who have a INT based Warrior, INT Based Ranger, and Adept. If you go for a Forge World character that will be using Power Sword, Plasma Weapons, and Melta weapons. However, this is bit of a long game plan since Warrior and Ranger do not depend on INT very much and it maybe a while until players get their hands on a Power Sword, Plasma Weapon, and Melta to start benefiting on Pinnacle of Weaponry passive
@@SlanderedGaming yep which is why I said the INT Warrior and INT Ranger is a long game type plan. Fortunately, Warrior and Ranger have more focus on Weapon skill and Ballistic skill when it comes to combat. They probably become monsters in combat once they become Exemplar and gain the Know-It-All passive with their Power Weapon/Melta pistol, Power Weapon/Plasma pistol, Melta, and Plasma Rifle setup.
@@Tentacl Main damage comes from Weapon Skill (Melee attacks) and Ballistic skill (Range attacks) for most aspect of the combat calculations. The other stats focus on improving specific combat stats and other utility skills such as Agility and Perception focus on dodge and reduce dodge chance by enemies, STR focus on condition resist and small boost to melee damage, Willpower focus on psyker skills, and etc. Agility is something needed to improve explosive expert skills to disarm traps and use melta bombs to blow open doors. STR stats allow characters to move around or create new paths by destroying obstacles. INT covers a lot of utility skills involving dialogue for Lore types and Tech skills (the lockpick skill of this game). Then we have Fellowship that focus on the Charisma dialogues and Intimidation dialogues of this game. Certain skills will focus on using these other stats but for combat you will need decent Weapon skill or Ballistic skill. However, the complicated part of character building comes down to the passives that benefit from aspects not normally focus on by default for class paths. Argentina, for example, has special Sister of Battle origin passives that greatly benefit on Willpower making her a monster in close range Ranger build with Flamer, melta, and melee weapons which allows players to build her to being a Willpower focus close range Ranger.
@@orrthehunter Hm, sounds like it will take some time after having the game in hand to get a real grasp of the systems. It's ok, I actually like this learning phase a lot in cRPGs. Ty for the answer!
I love your Rogue trader vids! have you ever considered doing a vid covering the basics of progression? like id be curious to see how often you get talents, characteristics and skills. any info I can find on this refers to the old beta or alpha builds, so something explaining how it will work at launch would be super helpful.
Peak Condition is also very good for Pasqal and Argenta so I can get them Power Armour Training, as Argenta gets two possible Soroitas Power armour options from completion of her Act 4 quest and I there is Dragon Scale Power Armour in Act 4 that only Pasqual has the requirements for.
95 is the max amount that Dodge will count in combat however, if you have a value higher than that and enemies reduce your dodge, than that extra value will count and hopefully still let you use the max amount. Hopefully that makes sense.
@SlanderedGaming Will you also make a video about the effects and consequences of breaching the warp? For example, I heard that it is possible to summon demons, and I was wondering if killing those demons would give you any extra juicy xp or items.
@@SlanderedGaming Well, companions with Psykers power are among the better ones, and I guess that even enemy powers can increase the chance of breaching warp. I guess that's why there's a real chance that it's an effect you'll feel sooner rather than later. Therefore, the following questions are offered: How bad will it be? If it's bad, will it be bad for the enemies as well? Is it possible to get positive effects? (After all, chaos effects aren't always bad.) And demons, experience for killing them and loot.

Aww, I was hoping there'd be a way to cast psyker spells for non psykers in the future and kind of assumed an Examplar would allow that lol. Not sure why tho

What is the bonus from the main stat to damage usually? I might have to turn off my BG3 mindset, because this sounded completely OP to me.
