    To be honest i'm happy that the system seems less complicate and demanding than the pathfinder ones. I want something fun that i like to play a bit between missions, not something that needs hours of investment/micromanagement and bland fights/events to see 100% of the game.
    i liked the crusade one the first time in wrath of the righteous, but every other game it was just a drag.

    Question: are the colonies vulnerable? My recollection from playing the TTRPG many years ago is that colonies were very vulnerable and would frequently get destroyed by xenos, rebellion, and stuff like that. Which feels very realistic: it's easy to see how you would get 4 Roanokes for every Jamestown in a setting like this.

    • @remortisgaming

      I haven't see any outpost actually be attacked in any way that wasn't directly related to the main story, they all have a 'security' rating but that stuff seems to just affect secondary things like how much profit factor is being sent your way.

    I hope they've seriously iproved this cargo system.
    Don't get me wrong, the idea of this is great and I've enjoyed it aswell.
    BUT:
    Imperial Navy vendor reputation grind was rough, due to the fact that you could loose a lot of cargo % if you just dump ship salvage into cargo, you'll get 120% cargo units.
    I had to manually combine all the parts to get more cargo units closer to 100%
    And as far as I recall it there wasn't any option to transform back the already made cargo packs. But now, based on your video you can remove parts/components from the existing tradeable cargo packs.
    That is HUGE, I'm really happy to see this changed. I just hope this way we could max out the navy vendor until the end of ACT III.
    (I've almost made it during the beta, almost did every battle, one was bugged out and 0 enemies spawned, becouse of this there weren't enough salvage to reach max rep)

    Question I CANNOT GET AN ANSWER TO, hopefully this 7 month old comment section helps somehow:
    How do restocks work? I bought out every sellers inventory like 8 times, no issues, quick restocks. Now, it's been FOREVER since anything replenished. So far I've read that they might refresh without any added information, been gaslit that they can't refresh and never did, and if anyone actually knows how this works that would be great

    • @oldmanramblingatclouds

      From my own experience with the early versions, the real bottleneck is going to be reputation- there's more than enough PF in the game to afford some of the higher-end equipment in monetary terms, and basic equipment is so plentiful you'll never have a shortage of it unless you're actively trying to hurt yourself.

    • @shawngillogly6873
      @shawngillogly6873 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@shawngillogly6873 is right. Rouge Traders are rich enough that they don't count if they have enough gold to pay for a thing, but if their enterprise is robust and profitable enough that they can get the thing without seriously impacting overall flow of cash.

      Well they would need to be a bit more faithful to the source material. They specifically set it in the Koronus Expanse, but failed to include any of the unique minor xeno races.
      Also the lack of military and government management bothers me. Rogue Trader would have been better off as a CK2 clone than a PF Kingmaker clone.

    • @oldmanramblingatclouds
      @oldmanramblingatclouds 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I honestly didn't get that vibe; it seems like the resources don't just reflect single one-off costs, but ongoing ones- e.g. trading 10 People Resources ™ to 'personnel specialists' reflects a steady trade in people, which is why the Profit Factor you gain is permanent. I'm guessing we'll be making some hard choices as to what we spend our resources for.
