Hey there! Sounds like you've got a bit of an issue with your monitor. No worries, let's see if we can sort it out. First things first, make sure the cables are all good and tight. Sometimes just giving them a wiggle can help. If that doesn't do the trick, try using a different cable. If you've got a buddy with a computer, see if you can plug the monitor into theirs for a sec to see if it's the monitor or your computer that's the problem. And last but not least, double check if the monitor is actually on and switched to the right input. Hope this helps!
@@LetMeFixIT I found a couple of the 23" or 24" Lenovo monitors (dumpster find!!) The ThinkVision line. I have not had a chance to test them yet but thank you 🤓
Did you pull out the blue ring? If it's still stuck there, you have to remove it. If you have, you just need to lift it up as it's spring-loaded. If you're still having issues, let me know and I'll make a video to show you.
No, the monitor goes into the dock. If it's going to power saving mode, it means it's not being picked up by the laptop (from the dock) - so there could be a few things there. Either the power plugged in is not rated for the dock (sometimes the laptop power pack can be accidentally used) or the cabling is incorrect, or maybe the USB C cable is incorrect (must be thunderbolt 3 or 4 (depending on dock), or plugged into the wrong slot of laptop or dock (plug at back of dock).
The ethernet cable is for networking (aka internet stuff). You can either use that or your laptop's wifi for internet. You plug the ethernet cable into your router/modem. If you have a wifi router/modem then you won't need an ethernet cable. If it's telling you to check the ethernet cable it probably thinks you have no internet plugged in. So either check your wifi or connect a cable if you don't have wifi.
nooooooooo...really? That'll be nice, I really love and hate that clip. It's good if you don't want it to fall out but i seriously hate pull them out lol
Yup, it's adjusted via pushing it down (or lifting it up) it's spring loaded. If you can't push it down, try lifting the monitor up via the back. Actually, I think I'll make a video showing this process. Here you go! th-cam.com/users/shortsVW6Ii5AY3Ec?feature=share
Hey I’m having problems with this monitor, it came with a mini pc attached on the back, but I only want the monitor per se to connnect it to my laptop, however I disconnect the mini pc from the back and use a dport to hdmi adapter to connect it to the pc, the monitor turns on but it goes black screen saying “no connection, check signal cable” so idk what’s happening
Actually, that's an All in One you're describing and I've tested using just the monitor only without the PC and it works. You have to plug the Display Port cable into the DP slot. Also you have to power it with the supplied power supply.
@@LetMeFixIT yeah I’ve done that, I unplugged the mini pc from the back, connect the power cable and a dport cable adapter to a Hdmi (since my laptops don’t have dport plug ins) so what I do is, connect the dport-Hdmi cable adapter to the monitor, connect a Hdmi cable to that adapter and the other end to the laptop, but it doesn’t work:( thanks for following up!

Your monitor? Yea I've seen that alot. That means your USB is likely not detecting the dock. In that case, check for two things. One, check your USB port works for this dock (sometimes some usb ports don't respond well) so try another. Two, make sure you have to correct power pack. There are a few different types but they all fit in the same power socket!! If there isn't enough power, the dock won't provide power to the video ports!

I have checked all the settings on my laptop as well as going through all the settings on the actual monitor. I have noticed there are no sound options on monitor. Any help would be great.
This model doesn't have sound but has an optional soundbar support. However, I would personally just get Bluetooth speakers and connect them to your gaming console or a nice set of headphones as monitor sounds are usually not that nice.
Can someone help? I've had this display for over a year, and I can't watch TH-cam videos in fullscreen. The quality drops drastically. What can I do to prevent this?

Does the monitor need to be connected to a laptop because the monitor keeps going to power saving mode?

How do You take the red clip off?
You can stretch it out by expanding it. It's just a U shaped plastic clip with grooves so it sits in via pressure.
