In this video, we'll show you step-by-step how to change the battery and access the key on your Mazda CX-5 key remote. Whether your key fob battery is running low or you just want to know how to access the mechanical key, we've got you covered.
Steps Covered:
Remove the auxiliary key by pressing the side button.
Locate the slot and use a small flathead screwdriver to pry open the case.
Remove the battery cap to expose the battery.
Replace the old battery with a new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up.
Reassemble the key fob by snapping the case back together and inserting the auxiliary key.
Tools Needed:
Small flathead screwdriver
CR2032 battery
