    Hello, do you know of any budget 90hz 4k monitors that could work with a ps5, or what's the cheapest decent and high refresh rate, 4k screen that you know of? Also great vid so far

    I bought two Lenovo Thinkvision P-27 monitors to use with my MacBook Air and mini-Mac respectively. While great when work, both have had issues with the USB-C ports from day one. One of the USB-C ports has snapped off completely rendering it unusable.
    At less than 1 year old and well within the 3 year warranty, Lenovo has refused to replace the broken one. Their customer support stated the consider it to be a “customer induced problem” - even though they hadn’t inspected it to determine if there was a faulty component.
    My advice, shop elsewhere and don’t risk your hard-earned cash. There are plenty of other solid brands at the same price and quality.

    good video, but a critique to your alternative suggestions:
    the main feature of this monitor is the colour calibration, yet you focus most on its usb-c connectivity and it shows in your recommendations. while you criticized lenovo's low brightness, the benq is even dimmer, while the philips is not calibrated. for many people, those two things are very important.

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course, everyone's requirements are different. The alternatives are there for your consideration.

      @@TotallydubbedHD Probably, a better verdict would have been, "If you are looking for a single monitor with or without type C, there are better options out there. If you are someone for whom daisy chaining & de-cluttering is more important than that the panel itself, this monitor is for you."
      Just because daisy chained monitors are super hard to find these days.

    So as a guy who enjoys audio, using tidal and also playing competitive shooters.. What monitor should I get? I'm eyeballing the Zowie, but I'm a little concerned with it being a TN.

    • @TotallydubbedHD

      Get bookshelf speakers or DAC and headphones for audio. As for the monitor, stay clear of TN panels. Depends on your budget etc, but there are plenty of options out there - have a browse of my monitor reviews on my channel.

    The best feature of this device isn't mentioned in your review. I have an HP laptop and it requires an HP Thunderbolt hub for connectivity, power and integration. This monitor has the same technology So instead of having to purchase a $400 hub, I can get it nested here with a monitor for a few dollars more. That is the beauty and I don't think your comparison models do this. HP has a similar monitor, but I think these are all discontinued because they didn't explain the technology and no one understood the high price and what they were paying for.
