Meepo Voyager X range test: ABSOLUTELY INSANE RANGE

- This Meepo Voyager X Electric skateboard range is insane, I'm very impressed. While it might not be as good as the 36 miles that meepo has on their website, I never expected to get that because I'm a heavier rider and I ride fast. With my other e-skateboard (backfire g2) I get about 5-7 miles while claimed range is more like 12, so I was expecting somewhere around half.
Weight: 180
Height: 6' 4"
wheels: 90mm urethane (stock wheels)
this is not sponsored, I paid for the board with my own money, Meepo has no say about this
let me know if you have any questions!
Please keep updated about durability and reliability. Thank you
How is the noise? Doesn't seem as loud as the hurricane and stuff. which is nice.
Did you use 36T
Good Job Sam! Love the content! Small suggestions though, maybe wearing different shoes next time, and a helmet is a must! 🤙🏼
Good call! and yes, helmet is a must
Hey meepo, why does the battery indicator not actually read correctly? One of my small annoyances with my shuffle and it seems to be the same way on your other products
@@andys4971nothing will ever be 100% accurate but it’s pretty close
lmfao, roasted by manufacturer, for flip flops.. cant make this shit up...XD
46km / 28.8miles
Saved you some time.
And just reduced this guys watch time. Think of the creator. He’s the one who’s gone out of his way to make this video.
nice time saver!
@@ESKATEUK then keep it shorter. nobody wants to watch boring bs.
@@zoomhardin nothing wrong with a 15 minute video, most people probably watch about half. For small TH-camrs watch time is incredibly important. But for selfish consumers like yourself you obviously don’t care too much about that.
Always remember that temperature greatly affects the range of any board, for example I did two range test's with my board, one when it was 36ºC and when it was 10º C and there was a 31.6% decrease in my range.
yeah thats very true!
So better when it's really hot? Mind blown!
"Always wear a helmet"
*Wears flip flops*
Checks out lol
they're my running sandals 😂
@@sam.alexander.reviews well I appreciate the laugh lol
Wish I had concrete trails like that bruh 🤟
Bro is riding with flip flops 😭
No helmet and flip flops thats like the cardinal sins of eskating!!
forgive me father, for i have sinned
Nice video. Simple clean and straight forward with some nice riding clips with some half decent music. Good job
thanks Ryan!
i'll hopefully do a full review, i just wanted to get this out ASAP because i was really curious before buying about the real world range
The flip flops r a brave choice for skating😭❤️ im glad you didn’t have to bail
3:00 probably doesn’t help with stability wearing flip flops🤣
you guys having luck with your chargers? I want to order this board but I'm worried about their default charger breaking it
The new one they sent out seems to be better
Bro.... those fucking sandals 😂😂😂 your killing me!
lol
Are you going to do a range test on the cyclone wheels too? I am about to buy it, can you just check for me the width from one edge of the wheel to the other edge so I know if it can fit in my locker.
Yeah I can do a test! Is just really cold where I live now, snow on the ground so it’s hard .
But I’ve been using them for about 50 miles so far and it seems like you get about 20-30% less range.
But the ride is so smooth I’m never going back
Oh gotcha, yeah I’ll measure next time I’m home
you are in boise I can tell cause I sometimes shred around there, hit me up if you want to ride sometime! Also I have the backfire G2 Galaxy and love it but I need to upgrade to a meet voyager x
no way! you got a keen eye, haha yeah i'm in boise. yeah dude lets cruise, i ride the green belt probably 5 days a week
When you break going downhill does it charge your battery? Great video btw
yup it does!
Hate to be that dude, but skateboards and sandals don't mix. And with e boards, helmets are a must and long pants are highly recommended.
nah you're totally right. been wearing shoes and a helmet ever since
@Sam.Alexander.Reviews That's awesome. Anyone who gets enjoyment from being on a board, should do so with the absolute lowest risk to injury.
Is that the cherry creek bike path?
nah, its the green belt in boise idaho
28.8 miles
bro i do not approve of those sandals
yeah it was a mistake 😅
👍👍👍
I guess there is a lag of the battery going down and the report on the remote. Seems to go down faster after first bar or 2. Still, the range is what matters to me. Very good real life test 😃
It's because it's new, when the board is new ur supposed to fully charge it and run it on the first few miles so it can read and learn the battery
@@boomerbassolutions6114 nickel-cadmium and nickel-metal hydride, can develop a memory effect when only partially discharged before recharging. Lithium-ion batteries, in contrast, are considered to have no memory effect. it's deffo a lag. still, love the board😁
yeah the battery percentage definitely isn't that accurate, the first half was crazy slow then the last half was much much faster. that being said as long as you see your trip odometer you should be fine
Do u recommend this or zealot s I'm new to skateboards
up to you, but if you're totally new i'd recommend more of a beginner board. This board is crazy powerful for a beginner
@@sam.alexander.reviews is the zealot s a good beginner board I need something with good range
🤙🏼👀⚡
pretty fun huh??
@@sam.alexander.reviews yeaah man, I got a few different boards, you gotta try a mini and a double kingpin board but the Voyager is great with its huuge range 🤙🏼
Duuude, shooooeeeeeeeessss Breakin an eSk8 commandment 😢thats a nice trail to sk8, what state you in??
Hi!
Please throw out those sandals 🫣
🥲
Trust me, the ladies will thank you
