I love mixing boho with modern farmhouse keeping the colors neutral with mostly creams & white. Adding some gray for contrast & warm wood tone. Black hardware and fixtures 🖤
Great tips Kristen! When I looked at my apartment, I came to realize that I subconsciously applied the 80/20 rule. My aesthetic is a combination of Mid-Century modern, Danish Pastel and a splash of 70s in a funky and cozy way.

Great video. Would love to see more on how you combine traditional and modern styles. I loves the colors, style and architecture of traditional or Victorian design but some modern design clean lines. My husband only loves traditional with the traditional furniture we already have. So 80/20 rule sounds good. 👍

I have plenty of original museum quality collections of old pottery, silver, bronze, wood carvings, porcelain, crystals, swords, books and yet I want a post pandemic look... For whatever that is.

Great tips - I think the 80/20 was the most helpful… I am combining styles have an antique mid century modern Danish sectional that I am re-upholstering in eggplant faux /ultra suede and I have a little BoHo style as well especially from my collectibles that I brought back after I lived overseas in India. Awesome tips Kristen. I am still using antiques with a few pieces of modern. Some of the antiques I don’t like as they are too dark. I’m going to paint them and distress just a little. I love this look and so does my hubby.

My favorite style is mainly farmhouse, but I LOVE the bright colors and patterns of Latin and Mediterranean countries! And I really like your suggestion of the 80/20 rule. I think that would really work for me.
