Yes, post hung gutters can be installed after a metal roof installation. We recommend pre-hung gutters if you're roof is not already installed.

@@WesternStatesMetalRoofing yes you do, but you are in the desert and I am in the rainforest. I didn't even KNOW that post-hung was an option for my standing seam roof! I'm a little concerned that the prehung system isn't going to drain water fast enough because it is level, spanning 50' before hitting the downspout. Not seeing a way to easily mitigate that. I guess we will see....
