whenever i get the chance i walk around barefoot, i truly think its the reason i never had any ankle injuries or strains
I agree man!
For anyone struggling to find comfortable shoes, I wear Altra tennis shoes for work and they are great. They have zero drop and wide toe box with a variety of cushioned options. I’m a retail manager and work long days walking on concrete, as well as hybrid athletic exercise. I also have some smart looking leather sneakers from Lems in place of my old dress shoes for meetings and formal events. I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes exclusively for a year now and it’s been a huge improvement to my life.
Dude thanks for sharing! Ima have to look into those Altra Tennis Shoes they sound really rad!
I like being barefoot in the summer in my grass and at the beach if I go but not when I go out anywhere else. Shoes don't hurt my feet they protect them.
That’s really cool! I’m glad you enjoy being barefoot as well!
we need more inclusive shoe sizes fr
Honestly man fr. It’d be cool if normal shoe brands like Nike, adidas, vans, etc. started making barefoot/ extra wide options
Huge proponent of barefoot shoes here. As you found out, easing into wearing barefoot shoes is generally a good idea. Both due to the pain you describe, but also because you calves will be stretched a lot more than in regular shoes that generally have a raised heel. Definitely remember my calves being quite sore for a week or two.
I also ended up going up one shoe size on regular shoes and always wear them very loose.
Yeah man, the transition is tough at first! What brand barefoot shoes do you wear?
@@thegraymedium_ used to do Vivobarefoot as well but as you said.. shit is pricy.. Now I'm wearing what is essentially a no name barefoot shoe that is surprisingly sturdy for a quarter of the price.
Bought a pair of Merrel Vapor Glove a while back for running. They're decent, but again.. Too pricy in my opinion.
Yeah, I’m probably gonna look into some cheaper brands too! I appreciate your support man!
thm steel toe boots kill u
Fr man! They need to make extra wide steel toe boots
