- In a quest to reimagine the footwear industry, VivoBiome continues to push the boundaries in collaboration with Balena, a pioneering materials company.
Introducing BioCir®flex 3D, a flexible, compostable thermoplastic designed to for performance and composability.
This is not just a partnership; it's the next step in transformative journey challenging conventional processes with a vision for an on-demand democratised system that cuts out long wasteful supply chains and enables a real end of life solution.
A further 18 months innovation partnership starts now; where we will continue to test, break, learn and repeat, focusing on three key areas:
1) Improve material performance - maximise durability, slip resistance and optimise the printing process
2) Redefine biodegradability standards - Establish a new standard for bio-based performance materials
3) End of life - Expand and enable a return pathway, promoting the importance of soil health and soil economy
‘You never change things by fighting an existing reality. To change something, build a totally new model that makes the old one obsolete’- In the words of Buckminster Fuller
This is just the beginning; the future of footwear is being reinvented and is coming to a pair of feet near you. Stay tuned for more updates!
Let us know what you think of the VivoBiome journey so far?

Got two pairs of Tracker Forest and just ordered a pair of Jungle ESC. Love Vivobarefoot. Changed my walking life. No joke.
What's the furthest you have walked in barefoot shoes
@jasonjames6870 - I can answer that. I've been exclusively wearing barefoot shoes for 4 years. I work construction, walking ALL day, and vivo's Tracker FG boots are my daily drivers, been through two pair. My hobby is multi day hiking/ backpacking and my longest day being 14 miles. Longest trip 22 miles over two days.
Minimalist shoes aren't for everyone and you have to transition slowly over a couple months but it's changed the way I think about footwear forever.
@@Alex-yx8wb thanks for the reply. I use altras for distance which has worked pretty well. I have only used barefoot shoes for casual stuff and couldn't imagine using them for distance
@@Alex-yx8wb Great and agree. Got my Jungle ESC two weeks ago. Used them all the time including work. They are great as well. Love Vivobarefoot Tracker and Jungle. A bit concerned about the Jungle ESC being too warm. We have a heatwave in Denmark right now. They manage very very well. I talk about 20 degrees C - Not that much but still warm for a dane 🙂
This is awesome wth I want a pair
If I can print my barefoot shoe…I would totally buy a 3D printer
I’ve been visualizing this for years! That someday we can scan our feet and make custom footware!
Betcha that foot scanning device tickles!
show some respect
@@KeyserSoze23 Huh?
Does you feel ticklish when people take photos of you? It's literally a camera
@@dudea3378 right over your head. Zing!
What materials are you using?
i love this video. Can't wait!!! Also the music behind it is amazing too, futuristic!
I wish a barefoot company would make a barefoot workboot that's slip and oil resistant.
Love my vivo primus lite knits and motus strength
This looks amazing, it's incredibly annoying having one foot a full CM wider!
I want one too!
Ok going to far with this one
nice!
That’s fire. Where’s the link?
where can i get a pair
If they can apply this tech to an actual shoe and not simply a rubber sock then they’ll be on to something.
We were manufacturing shoes 10000 years ago yeah?
Price £500 and only lasts a month
Datestamp shorts: FEB 2024, especially when it's a time based product.
looks too sloppy but this is the way to go
I love the idea but the price is so expensive. I’ll stick to my lone peak 7 and working out barefoot at home. And wait for a sale.
Also 3d printed ones from this video look be great
That's ugly. Hell no. I'll glady where a zero drop shoe, but I need to look good in it as well. If I wear those socks I'll be asked to leave the establishment since they'll require that I wear shoes.
You know, you don't have to wear shoes if you dont like them
Anyone who's brought vivo before wanna refer me so we both get a discount ❤
Use this, I just did! :
OJ20 for 20%off.
There are better discounts that you can get 30%
Just search hard enough. I found some but I can't tell you then as I need to use it😅
@themilkemissary7898 what do you mean ?? The discount is for both people when referring new customers. You comments are just odd.
Throw away shoes are now good for the environment! Yep righto😂
All shoes are meant to be thrown away?
Have been buying famous brand of cushioned running shoe and my feet and legs are painful continually now
my foot was punctured by a cactus while wearing barefoot shoes. This is not safe.
What barefoot shoes were you wearing?
@@YouCanChangeYourWorldTodaynot cactus-proof ones by the sounds of it.
Have you considered not walking on cactuses?
Barefoot doesn't need to only be thin soles. You can get plenty of barefoot benefits while also having thicker soles appropriate for hiking around cactus.
@@aaronmeehan8161 we know that.
What? 3D garbage!
Looks like crap lol
