Rob. You left out the best part!!! It ties in perfectly with your focus on Connor Kent. This is the story where he uses his tactile tk for the first time since his resurrection. When he uses it on earth 2 Superman, post crisis Superman asks him why he hadn't used it sooner, and when Conner tells him he was basically trying to live up to his legacy, Superman tells him he should use whatever he has at his disposal and be his own person

I've always really liked Blackest Night and it was my first real introduction to the Lantern Corps. I own the main book but I've always wanted to get the Black Lantern Corps spin-offs.
Last weekend I found the two Black Lantern Corps TPB used at a thrift store. Got them for $10 together! Just read Black Lantern Batman and sitting down to read the Superman one now. I'll watch this afterwards.
I don't follow comics that much, but from what I gathered Superman always held back and restrained due to not wanting to kill his opponents or for the safety of others around him when fighting. There could be an argument that the black lantern villains are stronger because they have no restraints and no fear of death.

-What if Tony Stark created a mark suit using infinity stones?
Xoloseof Gashi I don't think ghost rider would be affected much by the red lantern ring. The ghost rider only fights bad people. Maybe the red lantern ring would make him kill a lot more bad people faster.

I haven’t kept up all that well the last few years what happened to Conner?
So that's a bit of a sad story. After New 52 launched, they gave Conner his own book & Teen Titans. But they changed his origin so that he was basically a living weapon/organ bank for the Titans' really badly written villain Harvest's adopted son, who was an alternate Jon Kent from Rebirth. But his stories weren't all that great, and he barely interacted with the SuperFamily (there wasn't one; he only met Superman & Supergirl during the H'el stories). He died and was replaced with the evil Jon Kent, who tried to redeem himself and died saving Conner.
Towards the end of New 52, they tried to find anything to do with him, but floundered. He was supposedly framed for killing a bunch of people, but they were really aliens, and he essentially left never to be seen again (like Bart Allen). Then after Convergence, Post-Crisis Superman came back with his son, the Rebirth Jon Kent, who became the new Superboy. After history got its missing 10 years back following Superman Reborn, Superman spent an issue dealing with the new history, and only remembered 3 Superman during Reign of the Superman; with both the original and New 52 Superboy no longer existing, so Jon Kent can be the sole Superboy.
Conner came back during Convergence. Convergence was a "wallet vote" to decide the content of Rebirth. Everyone got a 2 part one shot and the ones that sold well got there own stories. Conner and Earth 2 Superman fought in his and it was decent but Superman got Lois and John and fans ate that shit up which down played having classic Conner Kent back.
I hate waiting for Blackest Night videos they are so freakin good. I especially like that one time when you binged the Planet Hulk and World War Hulk videos

I always thought supergirl was STRONGER not more powerful than superman, in sheer power cuz she had been more charged with solar energy, but superman was more experienced and skilled with his powers thus making him more POWERFUL

Lastly, whatever happened to the Man of Tomorrow seem to suggest the Post Crisis Superman is actually a different Superman from old Earth 1 one. More like a "rebooted version". The pre Crisis Superman grew old and called quits.
Of course, that story's canon...ness is contested.

12:00 Correction: "Supergirl: Many happy returns" was written by Peter David, not Loeb. It's the best Supergirl story I've read. The writer intended to bring the naive Supergirl from the Silver age back, with a comic book series called "Blonde Justice", featuring the original Supergirl Linda Danvers, Matrix-enhanced White Shirt Supergirl Linda Lee, and Power Girl, but it was cancelled and the Supergirl was reintroduced as a naked teenager crash-landing into Gotham's habour in "Superman/Batman: the Supergirl from Krypton", which was adapted into an animated movie.
