Nekron is not really the Entity of Death, he is the Entity of Nothing. The universe was at first nothing but darkness, then white light entered it, and the universe was only white light. Then the darkness fought back, and split the light into red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Making the universe into nothing and light, life and death.
Avada Flores If you read the origin of the Universe as as Indigo 1 says Blackest Night issue 3, “In the beginning the universe belonged to darkness- and then there was light. For seven hundred years, was nothing but blinding white light. Then the darkness fought back and the white light was splintered. I feel like its more similar to how Sandman Overture explains the different aspects of Dream of the Endless, where all the different aspects consider themselves one being, but different points of views of it, but ultimately they are all one entity operating in different realities.
I would argue that the difference between Death of the Endless and Necron is similar to the difference between Marvel's cosmic entities which can represent any and every aspect like death but still be involved with the universe, multiverse, and all known existence (Death of the Endless), and the Beyonders that represent a kind of non-existence beyond the universe, multiverse, all known creation, a darkness that lies beyond all this (Necron).

honestly, I think is basically that necron is basically the lack of emotion and making it death is a bit more interesting and probably them taking creative liberty with the concept, and a corpse doesn't really feel anything so kinda makes sense
I have a question. It's pretty well known that Geoff Johns' GL run was, for the most part, left intact after the start of the New 52, including the Blackest Night. It's even referenced in one of the New 52 GL story arcs. We are told that the Anti-Monitor plays an important role in Black Night. My question is, why don't the heroes remember that they've dealt with the Anti-Monitor before during Darkseid War?
In Sandman Vol.4, it is discussed that Dream is an aspect of Dream, and he would succeed himself, as a new aspect of Dream, should he die. Furthermore, Dream is introduced with several individuals who hold pieces of himself inside them, and Dream has even imbued objects with parts of himself. On top of this, every part of the Dreaming, including the creatures in it, are made of Dream, and are therefore parts of his whole. Death functions the same way. The Black Racer, Nekron, and whoever else embodies death are simply aspects of a greater whole. That greater whole is represented in its entirety by the singular aspect, Death of the Endless. Given the implication that the Endless can die, and given the very real threat Lucifer makes toward Death, it can be surmised Death can die... but a new aspect would replace her, and as the entirety of death, it would ultimately still be her; just a bit different, as with Dream. The Black Racer seems like a specific aspect of Death, associated with speedsters. Nekron is the specific aspect of death associated with the emotional electromagnetic spectrum. Death of the Endless is both of these, and so much more, represented in whole.
Death of the Endless IS Death. Not a concept or aspect. Humans can perceive only aspects of the Endless themselves, but avatars or embodiments of the effects are totally different.

I have a question.
It's pretty well known that Geoff Johns' GL run was, for the most part, left intact after the start of the New 52, including the Blackest Night. It's even referenced in one of the New 52 GL story arcs. We are told that the Anti-Monitor plays an important role in Black Night. My question is, why don't the heroes remember that they've dealt with the Anti-Monitor before during Darkseid War?
In Sandman Vol.4, it is discussed that Dream is an aspect of Dream, and he would succeed himself, as a new aspect of Dream, should he die. Furthermore, Dream is introduced with several individuals who hold pieces of himself inside them, and Dream has even imbued objects with parts of himself. On top of this, every part of the Dreaming, including the creatures in it, are made of Dream, and are therefore parts of his whole. Death functions the same way. The Black Racer, Nekron, and whoever else embodies death are simply aspects of a greater whole. That greater whole is represented in its entirety by the singular aspect, Death of the Endless. Given the implication that the Endless can die, and given the very real threat Lucifer makes toward Death, it can be surmised Death can die... but a new aspect would replace her, and as the entirety of death, it would ultimately still be her; just a bit different, as with Dream. The Black Racer seems like a specific aspect of Death, associated with speedsters. Nekron is the specific aspect of death associated with the emotional electromagnetic spectrum. Death of the Endless is both of these, and so much more, represented in whole.
Death of the Endless IS Death. Not a concept or aspect.
Humans can perceive only aspects of the Endless themselves, but avatars or embodiments of the effects are totally different.

First let me start with Ur great rob and ive learned so much more abt comics simple bcuz of ur channel but can we get some more marvel content i like dc n all bt uve dramatically slowed down in ur marvel vids n that's what i subscribe to ur channnel for i know its mostly do to how marvel and how it is releasing its comics now but if u could find away to do more marvel vids (especially once that arnt about the main heroes from the mcu ) i and im pretty sure the rest of your more marvel centered fan base woulda hella appreciate it pls n thank u # robcorps
