Im starting to consider breaking down the old ps3 controllers to see if those ones contain the magnetic sensors instead of the shit potentiometer ones.
Whats about xbox some say isn't work for it because left trigger magnet directly under it also there is a video about it it didn't work. But I don't know if what's in the video is xbox magentic joystic mabe he used ps joystick please answer. Already got xbox version
Subscribing, I like your research 👍🏾 thank you
Might do this for a drifting dual sense and use it on pc, worth it?
Is it really worth doing the little PCB's for casual gaming? I'm not sure the circularity or jitter is really a problem for most things?
I click on the seller's product page on ali for those boards and one of the three options is "joystick" and is one single joystick with a price over 9000? What's that about?
Probably selling in big quantities for resellers or game repair shops
Do you have the video link to how to install the Jun one with the board? Curious to see how hard it is first before I buy
Jun will send me the modules soon, I haven't got them yet
Do i need now the hall effect sticks with the pcb or just the hall effect sticks without it? Any answer would be nice. Thx.
It depends on which model you choose. June's model comes with a kit which requires the pcb board. The other model doesn't need the extra PCB board.
Some third party needs to make a dualsense edge hall effect module
***Has anyone changed the internal spring to increase stick tension ??
Hope these will be compatible with my PowerA Xbox style controller, would love to switch out the joysticks I currently have for them, one of which is completely busted..(I have 2 of the controllers)
why i cant find the ohms to this? Does it no longer matter when installing hall effects?
Wich version is the best ? White black or red ?
I prefer the potentiometers over the hall effects as it seems less complicated overall. Just need to replace the wipers (potentiometer) after being worn out. Hall effect calibration is complicated.
in what way is it complicated? you calibrate them once and you never do it again.
@@p4rsec They (hall effects) are known to have circularity problems while calibration.
Where can I can I get replacement
potentiometers?
@@ethanjensen1445 Any place where they repair controllers.
You don't even have to calibrate if you buy a controlled with them already installed
So for quick review... is there a video on how to install the hall effect sticks for the PS5? The video for calibration does not include how to actually tear apart the controller and attach the sticks themselves. Also, with the corrective board would be nice too. I have waited way too long for Hall Effect to come to PS4/PS5 and Xbox. This should scare the crap out of Sony and Microsoft because having these installed on a controller would save $70-80 in the course of potentially years. Thank you again for this info. Hopefully a full tutorial on how to put them all together would be great.
The sticks with jun's extra board is on the way
I'll make a new video when it arrives
i mean, that's precisely why they don't switch to it themselves i would bet. gotta keep people buying products designed to fail
Would this work on a series 2 elite controller? I’m looking at options for replacing my left and right sticks on mine due to stick drift.
yes you should pick the xbox option when buying
@@VKsChannel do I need to buy the jun module and the sensors? I’m trying to do this on a ES2 controller
I brought these modules, but using circularity test it makes square shaped as shown in the video, how to make that square to circular?
You can't
Only jun zeng modules can fix curcularity
I saw that there are two versions, one blue and this orange one you showed. Do you know if they are any different?
Will this work for a Scuf FPS controller? i've heard bad things about how long a scuf can go without drift and was wondering if a hall-effect is compatible?
it should they all use alps sticks, i would double check the pin count for the potentiometers
btw i like tension xbox 360 controller, its more hard/strong than xbox One or xbox Series controller..
strong tension make stick quickly back to center after release it..
im also prefer rubber ABXY on xbox 360, the reason is same, more hard😂
Are these compatible with Xbox series x? No need for the board? Just solder it? Please some1 answer
What is the behavior of these joysticks gaming on Windows PC?
Thank you so much, Sir!
I want to mod my Controller. I just subbed.
Will you update us on new Magnetic Sticks? I'm a bit worried becaue the Shaking.
Also, I found a 400mAh Battery Kit on Amazon for the Dualsense, are you also into this kind of stuff?
Get jun's module
It has the shaking fixed
shaking isn't seen below around 3 deadzone, which is really low and lower than the average 5 (in esports) you will be completely fine the jittering is in the center where even if you tapeed the stick it still wouldn't move, deadzone practically or does cancel it out
@@Layhss Thanks. How do you set the Deadzone on PS5?
I will use my Controller on PC, there is DS4 Windows and Steam Input, right? And ofc in game settings
@@Layhssin apex you don’t play with deadzone
@@BenutzernameXY what do you mean you don't play with deadzone? people use dfferent settings
Wonder why you just cant calibrate it on the ps5 its self switch lets you do it
Is there anything for scuf controllers?
would this only work on pc after of would the ps5 register the imputs too?
Do you buy the ps5 one for the series x or the Xbox one
Horizon has a high deadzone setting which you can not change, you should have tested the stick on a game where you can change the deadzone settings.
Hi, do you know if it is compatible with NS pro controller?
Wouldn't the Magnetic Left Triggers on Xbox interfere with the Left Sticks because it's right under it?
Well from reports on the internet it doesn't affect it but I can't confirm it for sure
Why isn't there a company selling upgraded versions of xbox and ps5 controllers with hall effect fixed etc out of the box?
There is. Check out Flydigi Vadar 3 and apex 4.
I'm confused. Do i need the circuit board also? Or buying the sticks is enough
If you buy the orange one just the sticks
But if you buy jun zeng modules you need the boards too
@@VKsChannel appreciated! Do you have any installation video?
I'm assuming you can't do this unless you have a soldering iron
Do they sell these somewhere that will actually ship what I order? I closed my Ali account because they got fewer than 10% of my purchases to me and only a third of those actually work, that place is just a scam pit as far as I'm concerned.
Can I use this with a PowerA controller? For the xbox
Can you do an update? I want to know how they've held up.
Im using jun zeng sticks now but they should be fine
Hall effect sticks wont wear with time
@VKsChannel supposedly, unless build quality is subpar and other things wear down first.
@@VKsChannelcan you give us an update with the new calibration tool that Xbox released?
I calibrated mine totally online connected to a pc, less than 5% error. I also notice these come out of the box at FULL SQUARE rotation, not good.
*WHERE IS THE UPGRADE FOR THE LOGITECH EXTREME 3D PRO*
Will i have to keep replacing them?
I mean, the jitter isn’t a bad thing 😎
I need a new Xbox elite controller badly but I don’t want to get a new one because I feel like the gen 3 elite controller is going to come out soon so idk
Same, gonna buy the gulikit kk3 max and hope its a good one, while I wait for Elite 3, but if they still don't fix the button issues I won't come back to microsoft.
Did you try gaming on pc and if so how is the jitter?
I tried with the Red Version (red instead of black) you have to put the deadzone at 10 percent, then the jitter is no Problem, but they arent acurate, so i dont use them, changed them back to Normal potentiometers after testing them
Do they feel any different?
I would like to install them on 8bitdo pro 2, which version should I buy?
I too am interested in this. I like the 8bitdo pro 2 layout and features but I really don't want to deal with stick drift.
