    Question is there a big difference from a 78 gauge to a 87 gauge ?? Can i use orginal connection, i notice my 78 gauge has a electrical box for speedo but the newer gauge has a cable connector? I build my truck from parts truck so its kinda hard to justify

      Not sure. I know the 91 suburban cluster has an electronic speedometer

    What specific wire did you tap in to from the gas speed sensor I bought cheap eBay harness and the under dash portion of wires says it’s the white one would I run that to my speedometer spot?

    Will this be the same on a 73 k5 blazer? Or other wires needed to be removed , added or removed?
    Thanks

    If you don’t mind me asking what did you not like about the Intellitronix brand gages? What made you decide not to continue using it?

    would the '90 fullsize Jimmy have the same electronic speedo?
    Also is the first page of colour coded wires the '84 trucks schematic, or the '90s truck schematic?

    So quick question since you’ve already went out through their wiring. I have a 84 c10. All gauges work except fuel gage. Looks like there used to be a passenger tank but it was removed. 2 wires hang outside the gas tank. Red and black. No wire is coming down the frame on either side for fuel sending wire to go to either instruments panel or bulk wiring near brake booster. I do see pink wires in bulk wiring. There is 2 smaller pink wires 1 pink and the other pink and white. The pink and white is cut and he pink is wires with one of hot wires goin to battery. If I connect the fuel sending wire to either one nothing happens is stays the same. I know the gage work it reads 3/4 no power way past full with power. Do you think wiring that wire to number 7 and 18 or just one of the 2 would fix my problem

    Is there any way I could use the older mechanical Speedo cable instead of that electric box? I have a 700r4 transmission but I want a cluster with that Speedo and a factory style tac and a gas gauge in the corner. Any advice?

    • @LonniesGarage
      @LonniesGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      They make a part that will screw in to the transmission that will allow you to run your vss wire to it.
