I'm picking mine up next week. It's a manual. 0-60 isn't something I'd worry to much about. I'm sure under the right conditions the manual would match the official figures. It also depends on how good you are at launching.
There isn't a specific way to launch the car to optimise times, it's more the season/weather, the tyre and the road surface As I mentioned in the Manual 0-60 video last week, FWD cars have a weakness for standstill pulls unlike AWD platforms
@@stevecutts5450 Correct mate, unfortunately from factory they seem to come with P Zeros, not an awful tyre actually fairly decent in the dry conditions but colder weather they do struggle to comply
@@PocketRockets I picked mine up on Saturday and it came with the auto box. I never asked for it so they'd made a mistake. After a bit of arguing with the dealership they reluctantly let me have it for no extra cost. They were trying to charge an extra £1500 for something I never asked for 🤣. I actually prefer the auto anyway so a win win for me😁
Am going place an order but am thinking of doing PCP how do u feel about pcp if u are in a conferrable sallary scale am on £32 k plus can afford easy £400 in payments and at least can hand it back after four years allot can change. I am seriously thinking of getting the automatic. But do pzero's come with the automatic as standard? Also is race track mode really worth the 3k?
It's worth looking on Autotrader / use carwow to get deals and get it cheaper than RRP 4 years is a long time, I'd personally consider 3 year Don't just think about monthly figure, consider running costs (insurance, tax, fuel etc) You don't want to financially stretch yourself If you're open to suggestions, have a look at a Hyundai i30N - maybe test drive both back to back. I30N is a lot cheaper without discounts to start with and the DCT box is better than the Focus Track pack is a great addition to the car but if you plan to modify/add your own touches you could add wheels and suspension for less than £3k P Zeros are rubbish in comparison to tyres like Goodyear Eagle F1s, P Zeros are only good in dry conditions, wet weather they just don't inspire confidence Hope this helps, I'm on Instagram if you want to chat further Thanks for watching!
Couple of weeks I hope, working a full time job 40 hours+ a week with other commitments on top doesn't make it easy to edit videos on top 🙈 The life of an inconsistent TH-camr, I'm sorry lol
Both the same car, apart from Manual and Auto So, the exhaust sound comparison won't be any different Also, both cars were tested at different times, so would have been impossible to do anyways, apologies Thanks for watching Victor!
That's a real tricky question to answer, in the ideal world an Auto is the easiest But the Auto box in the Focus left some question marks for me, more so when comparing against what German rivals offer in Auto gearbox department Don't get me wrong, the Auto isn't actually that bad, but for the type of car the Focus ST is, it doesn't suit the platform I hope that answers based on my thoughts 🙈🤣 Thanks for watching and commenting Mark 👍🏼

@@PocketRockets yes the right tyres make all the difference. I found that out with my b7 rs4 😁. It's a shame the st hasn't awd like the old rs did.

What’s the insurance like on this, I’m 23 and pay about £2500 for a fiesta St 2019. Thinking of getting this in auto
