Just had this m365 fitted with all the hardware plus club sport wheel with ps4 tyres and the car absolutely handled all that power I think Mountune's got it perfect.
Many congrats on your M365 fitting! It's a great package and really improves the car to really an RS level 🎉
I've read in a brochure that the Track Pack brakes are the same as the Mustang Mach-E, so I can only imagine how powerful they must feel on a considerably lighter Focus.
I can't get over how good this car is. Once again, thank you for pushing out so much content on the Focus Mk4 and Mk4.5 - you won't find it anywhere else.
Ah that is interesting. I drove the Mustang Mach-E last week and I found the brakes really good on that. The highlight of the track pack is definitely the brakes and the suspension....really great on the car. No worries at all and I am glad you have been enjoying the content 👍
@@SamAustinyou barely even need the brakes on the Mach-E thanks to the regenerative braking but still, does show you how good they are

Picked up my Mean Green ST Track Pack from the Dealer yesterday - what a beautiful machine! Many thanks to you Sam and the Owner of the ST Track Pack in the video.
M330 tune, Gel Number Plates and Mud Flaps and a small front splitter to be added.
Only gripes I have are:
• the gearbox - its very notchy and difficult to change down quickly (plus its nowhere near as slick as the box in my MK7 Fiesta ST)
• Pedals aren't placed ideally for heel and toe
But other than that, I LOVE this car. Its stunning, the stock exhaust is a laugh in Sports Mode and my god - the front end is a corner eater - so much grip!

Ive ordered the mean green st focus as well,, honestly wasnt arsed for 3k! about the track pack but got the performance pack has a happy medium. Cant wait for it to come

Anyone know if the Ford badge on steering wheel can be replaced easy? Got peeling on mine and was wondering if they can just pop off?
The focus already has a Borg Warner eLSD so I don't see a Quaife LSD having any impact.
It is very good the eLSD but for a car with 365hp all through the front wheels I feel a mechanical front differential would do a better job with the power from my experience 👍

Sam I'm running m330 having drove both is there noticeable difference between the m330 and m365 ?
I've had Mountune's ic intercooler and the full induction kit It's made a nice difference.
M330 I found really nice but the M365 did take it to another level - It felt just as quick as my old Focus MK3 RS Edition Stage 2 (440hp) particularly in the dry. With the Intercooler and the induction kit your car should be well suited for the M365 should you go for it. I'd check with Mountune to see if they recommend anything more hardware wise but I have to say it was a great experience. I can recommend even from stock with the M330 being a very nice sweet spot as in the UK it can be quite tricky to put all the power down from the M365 due to the lack of 4WD plus the wet/cold weather in the UK. Once up to speed, when you are less traction limited, it really did pull with the M365 👍

Does this m365 tune have a montune exhaust or still using the standard ford performance ehaust..?
This owner has the mountune exhaust fitted with the tune. I believe it might be required as part of the tune but it sounded fantastic! 👍

I'm 50 now and had the pleasure of owning two sapphire cosworths back in my 20's plus escort cosworth .
4 years ago I had the mk3 st in the focus and I have to say it was a great car so I'm looking forward to my new mk4
Thank you for watching my reviews and I hope you have found them useful. If its a 2020 model it won't have the track pack shown in this review for the MK4.5 but I believe the performance pack is something slightly different for MK4 models. I don't believe you will get the track suspension but you will get shift lights / rev matching so if your car has that it will have the performance pack. I would also check with the place you are getting it from to ask them to confirm. Many congrats on your purchase and for sure you will enjoy the car 🎉

When in sport mode if you go from say 3rd to 2nd the throttle should automatically blip for a smoother change

It has track mode if you’ve got performance pack and you feel the suspension get firmer in sport & track mode
Sounds like the sound symposer piping engine noise into the cabin via the speakers? Wonder what it sounds like when it's turned off, hear more induction and natural engine noise, something like ForScan can do that.
Thanks so much for these Track pack reviews especially with the M365 upgrade. I was hovering over getting a Hyundai i20n but now you have completely and utterly sold me on the Focus ST with Track Pack and M365.

@@FungusLabel Yes I know - I was going to pick the i20n over the i30n simply for the pocket rocket thrills. Wasn't really moved by the MK4 Focus - but now with the 4.5 Track Pack + plus Mountune, the Focus does everything.
@@AverageJane222 Both i30n and Focus ST are a blast. Sadly thats the last Focus.
@@FungusLabel Yeah, that's another thing that is pushing me to the Focus - it's the last one, so it's now or never.

Biggest problem is the open deck i have the m330 wanted the 365 but istead im going to save up for the mountune forged closed deck engine that has no issues and produces a lot more pwr and still remain safe on 500 hp
the Engine is fine with that Power. Its still a open deck but ford changed some parts from the 2.3L Engine from MK3 RS to the Mk4 ST
How did you compare it to your RS in terms of traction and performance?
Performance wise it felt just as fast if not a little faster once on the move. In the wet the RS would have the ST covered just due to the 4WD traction. I have another two videos coming up comparing the two along with this owners impressions of my RS 👍
Would you choose this ST or mk3 RS???
Tough choice but in 2023 I would choose the M365 as much as I enjoyed my MK3 RS the advances Ford have made since the release of the MK3 RS make a big difference 👍

Is the m365 reliable? And what would 0-100 and top speed be?
This owner has not had any issues. Personally with the added temperature protection modified cars tend to offer more reliability than stock. This one did not have an intercooler which I would recommend as it worked well on my old MK3 RS as the engine would run super cold all the time. Its quick enough for sure and being FWD it would struggle to do less than 5 seconds to 60 due to a lack of traction but felt very punchy all around the rev range to me. Top speed kinda irrelevant unless you live on the autobahn in German but I'd say 160mph 🤔

@@SamAustin the Mk4 ST does already with stock specs between 170-175 mph on speedometer. with my m330 i am on the same level

@@Alex-dz6xw because the m330 makes around 315-320 HP and that's at 5500 rpm. But top speed ist not at 5500 rpm, it is at the rpm end at round about 6400 rpm and until the car reached the higher rpm, the car also lose much of power.
can you do a sound check on the ST? i would love to hear it
Sound of the ST is in this video with the drive by's I added but I have videos to come where you may get another impression of the noise 👍

How’s the insurance on one of these bad boys
Surprisingly the owner mentioned his insurance on this was less than his MK4 Focus ST Estate diesel. Insurance is very subjective to the individual but as this is an estate I imagine that helps as it is more family oriented from an insurance point of view I imagine.

It is not really a Golf R rival. More a Golf GTI rival 👍
@@SamAustin I guess if you want a hot hatch you want it to be as good as it can be, I never got the feeling from the mk4 Focus that it was the case. I think Ford had given up when they said there would be no RS version.
Golf r will just be boring, I'd rather have this and it looks better. Golf is the Chav chariot of hot hatches, same as the rs3

Weird how people are happily dropping £40k on a FWD Mk4 Focus ST and upgrades when a MP375 or M400 Focus RS is cheaper, faster and will hold its value

You can’t buy replacement Corsa tyres in the Uk!!!!!!!!!
The owner spoke with Ford and they say you can although they are more expensive than your "normal" road tyres
@@SamAustin Sam just ask them to double check please, the tyres that Pirelli made for the track pack do not exist in the UK. Mainland Europe but not the UK. Pirelli UK website even confirms this. The 19inch PZC4 variant is not available in the UK. Pirelli have downgraded the tyre to the PZ4. I know this because I had to import my tyres (pothole!) from France!!
The PZ4 is now marked FP. It's a strange situation.
@@THEDTSMAN Would you consider trying Michelin Cup 2 if PZC4 were a bust?
I know a few other owners with the track pack and I get the impression this car will can eat through front tyres so they will need replacing quite regularly if driven often. I will check in with them to see the feedback on the tyres.
Go buy a Golf R anyone who wants to part with £40k plus, the interior is darker than Darth Vaders boxer's plus all the power through the front wheels will even torque steer going into 4th gear Focus has had its day...by the way the Fiesta ST3 is a better car all round and better looing
No. Fiesta is Polo rival. Focus ST wipes floor with Golf GTI...
