Never noticed, can't be much of a difference I'll check that out for myself whenever I see a pre-facelift & facelift next Thanks for watching & sharing Andrew!
Sort of, I filmed with the Auto version yesterday focusing more on the price & auto box itself rather than a full review as I've filmed previously with the car
@ThisLadWayne your initial comment came across like I've done/said nothing and the other guy did everything 🤷🏽♂️ Wasn't worded very well that's all You still haven't said what was useful to you 🤣
Just a couple of other points. 1. I know it's bigger than the Fiesta...but £10.000 more. I don't think so. 2. I like the updated infotainment system...Good move. 3. Agree, i30N is the better value. 4. I will stick with my Puma ST.
It's evident all three models (Fiesta, Puma & Focus ST) are no longer attainable/affordable cars, so for potential customers, it's more value for money in terms of practicality, performance, and other elements Base pricing: Fiesta ST - £26,645 Puma ST - £30,270 Focus ST - £35,985 The Focus makes the most sense out of all three mainly for space and the updates that you don't get with the other two (bigger screen, Sync 4, and adaptive dampers) But at the same time, the price points for all three especially the Focus; both me, Aaron, and I'm sure many others make it a big put-off (no matter how good it is - and it is a good car), and instead turn to other cars in class like the i30N Puma ST can't be compared to the Focus
@@andrewdent696 Yes I agree, as you'd either choose between a Fiesta or a Puma not upgrade whereas a Focus you'd be more inclined to for the better practicality, performance etc but that eye-watering price will likely prevent people changing
Are they that expensive though? My fully equipped ST Edition had a stickerprice of about 45.000€ (39.300 pounds), but I actually got it brand new for 37.900€ (like 33.000 pounds), which is less than nearly every brand new i30N listed at the time. Ford gives ridiculous discounts on new cars, at least here in germany. I'd check for listings on the internet, rather than the numbers given by Ford, I don't get why they do it this way.
TL:DR: Check Autotrader and other online portals for pricing instead of going by MSRP like this guy, it's the real world prices that matter, not what the manufacturer tells you. You should really do some proper research before posting videos.. Ford always gives massive discounts, if you check actual prices online, you'll see that i30N and Focus ST (With performance pack) are starting at roughly the same price. Considering the ST has much more tech (Matrix LED, adaptive cruise control, wireless Android Auto, digital dashboard) calling the i30N the better value is kind of a stretch. Feels more like you just generelly have some sort of personal vendetta towards the ST for whatever reason, in the last comparison you blamed the special edition ST for having "dated coilovers", not even mentioning the insane adjustability or that fact that you can lower the car without any upgrades, while praising the i30N for having adaptive suspension, even though that's literally the selling point of the special edition while the adaptive suspension is standard on the normal focus st.
Excuse me? I'm reviewing a brand new car, not a used one plus I'm not an establishment that can provide discounts to cars and tell the consumer i.e. Carwow - so no I don't need to do "proper" research before posting videos, thanks If you can get discounts on a Focus ST, it will be the same case for the i30N so the price saving gap will still be similar. Even if I was going to find out discounts on every car I review, it will change anyway; Ford have changed their pricing & specs 3-4 times this year on their models, as demonstrated in this video!!! All the Tech you have mentioned isn't exactly mind blowing for anyone sane to justify the evident price difference. It's dated compared to electric adaptive individual/customisable setups on Hyundai's and other german rivals. I already mentioned the adjustability on my Fiesta ST Edition which uses the same design of coilover, a coilover solution that isn't exactly tailored for every consumer. I think you're getting the personal vendetta confused with having an unbiased free debate on a car. The selling points to the i30N, it's more fun to drive in my opinion, the price being less is a bonus plus you can now choose 6 speed manual or DCT auto. In fact, I'm not the only one that has expressed that. Out of interest, do you own a Focus ST? If so, stop watching videos on a car you already own and get upset when you don't agree with something
@@PocketRockets I'm not gonna read all this, you make 0 sense. The prices of listings online include the dealership discounts. Brand new ST's start at £33.000 to £34.000 while brand new i30N's start at £32.000 to £33.000. I think checking actual real world prices online beforehand is not asking too much. Some brands give 0 discounts (Like genesis) while others do, thus only comparing MSRP isn't a proper fair comparison.
