Such a crazy off the wall movie thats very heart warming. How crazy is that... in the end such a wonderful movie about family
I love how weirdly complex their filmmaking style is. That door-match shot is so cool.
I want to see them break down every scene in the movie like this. Every time I learn more about how they made this movie, I fall in love with it even more.
aw i love that Michelle was there too with the directors! I bet they were all like a family on the set
I have never cried, laughed, or contemplated as much in general in a single viewing of a film as I did this one. Ive seen others lean in and touch me deeper on certain aspects but man, this movie has it all!
The vfx was actual magic. I didn't even notice any computer effects and the practical ones just played with the themes, or just blended in really well. Actual masterpiece.
this is by far the hardest ive cried at any piece of fiction
this is not hyperbole, nothing brought me to tears like this film did
it felt like a years worth of baggage all released at once
I think the challenges of filming this movies is what blessed it with it being so good. They were forced to be so super creative making this movie and it showed.
I adored every minute of this. The casting was was perfect. I hope Yeoh gets an oscar for all the heart she injected into it.
She just did.
“Cosmic Gumbo” Hahahha I love the I think you should leave quote, was so funny seeing Detective Crashmore in this movie lol
The fact that they were able to make one of the best films I have ever watched with what is effectively glue and popsicle sticks during a pandemic is a testament to the absolute talent of every single team member of this film
Listen, I never get emotional during movies. For this film to make me a little emotional really says something about how impactful it was. It hit me on a personal level too
I saw this movie off 4 edibles and hotbox session 10 minutes before watching the movie. One of the best decisions I ever made. This movie is is like those watch while high videos especially in the last 20 minutes. I literally felt my spirit leave me my body. It felt like a universal studios ride.
🧡❤️🧡
I haven’t gotten the chance to watch it absolutely blitzed yet but I agree, as a smoker this is one of those movies where you HAVE to watch it high at least once.
omfg yes, a universal studios ride. thank you for taking the words out of my brain
Omfg I did this and freaked out when the husband first switched and the montage showed with the elevator door opening to her birth I swear to god I had to turn off the tv. I rewatched it sober the next day.
@@chuck6845 😂
we need oscars all around for this movie, IMMEDIATELY
Almost a year later, it won 7 Oscars, including Best Picture
Not just Oscars but alllllllllllll the awards shows there is
I need this movie in my life ASAP. I wish it were playing anywhere near me. Hopefully it has a digital release in it's near future because this thing looks incredible. Michelle Yeoh is having an amazing run at the moment.
I don't know how wide the release will be, but a wider release is coming on the 8th!
Saaame. I've been checking movie releases in my country, and it doesn't look like it's gonna be released here at all... T_T
@@ellemars1817 i read things like this and makes me grateful that I live in a place where movies like this and even smaller ones are regularly showed
Movie was simply amazing. Masterpiece for real.
Respect to these guys vision , I was in absolute awe when I first saw this . Very cinematic experience . My favorite movie this year fs ! Kudos to the ppl involved with this film 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I need them to do this for the entire film.. please and thank you!
Seriously! I'm blown away it was only 5 people working on the special effects. True talent.
@@thebondofunity That is why I appreciate this film even more!
I was at the Sydney Premiere yesterday. I cried of joy. This is an amazing movie.
Everyone here has said everything I totally agree with and would say myself. But let's give credit to the Daniels turning Jamie Lee Curtis into Michael freaking Myers. She was terrifying and badass and grouchy. I'm surprised there was more of her in the movie then let on. I LOVED EM ALL
This was the most fun I’ve ever had at the cinema, and I go weekly. Blew me away on all levels and have already seen it 3 times. Seeing it in IMAX was especially spectacular. One of the only films that made me cry/sob while watching.
Congrats to Michelle and Ke for their golden globes! Well deserved for this amazing movie.
This movie made me laugh, gasp, and cry several times
Can’t wait for this film to blow up, it was an absolutely incredible cinema experience
I had the same exact reactions as the characters as the movie was going on. I was sad, confused, bewildered, and then left crying at the end. This movie is a true testament of the surviving originality we all thought was killed off long ago by action blockbusters and superhero movies.
This is truly a REMARKABLE film!! 👏🏻 A beautiful cosmic gumbo - as Mr. Daniel said. ☺️👍🏻
I’m even more blown away when I learn of the back stories (like this one) of the making of this movie. The script, the production, the directing and the phenomenal performances by the actors - this film deserves Oscars all around!! 👏🏻 One of the craziest yet deepest films I’ve ever seen! Thank you to everyone who made this film possible! 🙏🏻👏🏻❤️
I could literally watch the three of them explain the entire movie for hours!!!!!❤❤❤❤
"I love you" (screams in terror, vampire cross symbol) 😆😆😆
it's really nice to hear them say specifically what crew did, and what was the VFX team, and what was the stunt and remote crew's contributions... i think we think of directors so often as auteurs that we forget how many hands go behind making a movie
This movie reminded me why I love movies so much, it made me cry and laugh while it remained completely grounded and well-written, watching it was whole experience
This was a brilliantly filmed piece of artwork!! I needed this film in my life. I cried, laughed, and shouted out of fear, suspense, and amazement. 10/10!!
One the best scene breakdowns! Love these guys and Michelle Yeoh.
You guys were amazing! Spectacular experience. Best film of 2022 so far for me.
Every award, every nomination, all at once for this movie please!
The cast was PERFECT!!!! for this script! The way it all came together was amazing. I do wish I heard more Michelle’s thought to these scenes though. Like what was she thinking/feeling during these scenes.
I never thought I'd see a movie that is a straight up 10/10 until I saw this movie.
i have been wanting to watch this film for months, since it came out, finally got the chance to do so yesterday before it left theatres in my area. so entertaining, and so incredibly touching. i haven't cried at a film in a long, long time. i cried like a baby at various points in the last half hour.
truly a gem of a movie!!! just watched it and it's SO good
So much care and talent was put into every frame. I'm stoked for another Daniels movie
This film is a MASTERPIECE....
Today I was feeling down and out of the sudden I told my husband I wanted to go see this movie (we were planning to see it but never took the time to do so), so we went to the movies, and gosh this cheered me up! We really enjoyed it! We laughed and cried together there. Recommended!
Hands down, best movie I've ever watched by a landslide. I was rollercoastering through every emotion in the book at a rapid pace. I'll never forget the experience this movie had on me. My goal is to show this to every person I know.
Idk if I'll ever find the words to explain how mind blowingly original, entertaining, thought provoking and beautiful this film is
Brilliant. Thank you all for your artistry!
I have never seen anyone explain the mechanics of an action sequence so clearly and honestly! They should have their own masterclass.
It was cool hearing how the make scenes. Their style is all about pulling off crazy visual effects in almost every shot.
Yes! I could watch them breakdown shots like this for hours
Gosh! Impressive dedication!!
