The silicone up the wall jam should go around screws on the tray side so that water cannot leak through the screw holes. The external silicone up the the wall jam should not be required if you have enough up the wall jam. Fitting one of these in a shower tray with 4 upstands is a bit tricky as you have to pull the side panel out to fit it into the door frame.

Is there a video that shows installation of this Mira Leap shower sliding door enclosure with the Mira safe shower tray with 4 upstands? In this video, it says to move the side panel a bit outwards in order to install the sliding door. With the 4 upstands shower tray, how do we do that, or is there a different procedure?

Please I wanted to fit shower tray and enclosure in a wet room ba I asked for advice from the council since it's a council flat on a ground floor . They told me I cant fit a tray because the wet room has no drain ba uses a pump to pump out water . My question is, can a shower enclosure be fit without a shower tray ? Please

Hi Alberta,
Our Mira enclosures are designed for use with our trays and the tray needs to be level for the door/screen to work correct. As a wet room flooring will not be level you have may have issues with one of our screens. You could opt for one of our Mira Elevate or Ascend fixed divider panels that can be fitted onto a tray or straight onto tiles.
