Why? All the parts all the work? I used to live in Norway and there they have this ingenious shower type which is common across the whole Scandinavia. Simply two wall hinges the length of the glass on each side and two glass doors hanging in those hinges with long magnet in the middle to keep the doors together. No frames no nothing on the floor. So simple and so easy to keep clean. Washing the frame on this shower and all the spaces in it must be a nightmare especially in regions with a lot of limescale

At the end protect glass with german "Shower Guard FUSION 5", it is the best protection against hard water and limescale, otherwise glass will be ruined and full of stains in couple of months...
