Why would a time traveler need to know what the future looks like? As the time traveler, wouldn't they either be coming from the future--thus, already knowing what the future looks like--or able to simply travel to the future to answer their own question?

Those can be used to bolster the vent count nation wide just by moving them from out patient surgery centers and the like. He also said that he had a contact in a company that manufactured vents and that though they have fielded lots of phone calls no orders for a massive amount of vents have been placed. That should tell you all you need to know.

Now with all of this, all group classes are cancelled and likely the gym in the community will be shut down. No activities ran by staff are allowed in the community and we are now moving to room service for meals instead of eating at the two dining room areas. No outside visitors are allowed in as well. I’m 22 and extremely mad that people my age don’t care that much about this. Have some sympathy that others haven’t lived their complete life yet and really rely on us for a lot.

Daily follower of this show from Denmark. I think Ben misunderstands the danish approach to this. The danish approach have not been to just tell everyone except old to walk freely around, actually the contrary, they have encouraged social distancing and staying home as much as possible, with the recommendations and new laws being passed being progressively more restrictive in nature. And they are having a shotdown the economy approach, or what u wanna call it. Today even harsher restrictions than earlier were passed. And they have for a while now been talking about the importance of flattening the curve (both medical officials and the government in Denmark), so I dunno if he mixed Denmark up with some other country.
EDIT: Im pretty sure hes talking about Sweden and not Denmark, I just realized since a guy below suggested it. Because Sweden has taken almost the opposite approach to Denmark and are being way less restrictive.

Denmark is doing the exact opposite of what Ben Shapiro is saying, and has been THE HARDLINER of Northern Europe (and more than America). Last Wednesday (March 11) all (non-critical) public employees (which is alot in a big welfare state) were sent home all schools, universities etc. closed, and all private employees were advised to work from home. Last Friday(March 13), the Border closed for all non-essential travel. Today (March 17) all gathering with more than 10 people has been forbidding and all restaurant, cafes etc. has to be shut down.

If there are any nurses who are willing to cross train (meaning any staff who work in the ER,OR, or other floors in the hospital and get ICU specific training) now is the time!! Let's get ahead of this!!

The problem with that model is that people aren't just running around randomly. And the disease doesn't communicate 100% of the time upon contact. More like 5% of the time. They should have built it so that the dots followed routines, and introduced some randomization for contraction upon contact.

Well, not saying it will happen, but think about it. This is similar to the flu! It's not exactly like the flu but similar. And most diseases you have a season for them. You can you get the flu in the summer, however it's uncommon but still can happen. But it's more common for you to get the flu in Winter and or spring. So, even though there are very few cases in the southern hemisphere. There's still hoping for a less or more manageable cases. Not that it will go away completely.

The theory comes fron the fact that annual flu decrease generally correlates with increase in temperature. However, correlation does not equal causation, so it could be that people are outside more, or getting more sun, increased vitamin d levels, reduced recycled air or other factors.
