      There are two things. The main issue is the virus can be carried for so long without showing any symptoms, so you're walking around giving it to people without knowing you have it. Basically EVERYONE is typhoid Mary.
      The other problem is the high mortality rate.
      It's a combination of the two that make it the biggest problem than we've seen since the Spanish Flu.

A bill isnt good enough, considering they would be paying in worthless Chinese dollars. We need to nuke them economically. We need to ensure that China suffers like no other country has suffered. I want them to be so impovershed from us cutting them off from the world that their people starve to death, and that it gets so bad that they have to have regime change. • @Ranger1PresentsVirtualRealms
      @Ranger1PresentsVirtualRealms 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @MichaelArcAngel1028 The death rate is that high in Italy because the people being tested and diagnosed with the virus are only those with the most extreme symptoms in the highest risk groups. Learn how statistics work before you panic my friend.

    • @Ranger1PresentsVirtualRealms
      @Ranger1PresentsVirtualRealms 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @MichaelArcAngel1028 I'm well aware that Italy's healthcare system is overwhelmed... that's exactly the main reason why only the most extreme cases in high risk groups are getting tested. Thanks for making my point for me. I'm not sure why you would think "Italy's death rate statistics are skewed because of the way their testing is done" is the same as saying "there is nothing to worry about". We have testing results from countries where much more public testing has been done and we're gettting far more accurate statistics from all of those countries. This is giving us a much clearer picture of the true mortality rates in the various age groups. But you go right ahead and do "you" boo, meanwhile I'll stick to the facts.

    • @johnow7
      @johnow7 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      To all of the people constantly saying that the death rate is lower because they are not testing everyone, does everyone who get the flu annually seek medical attention? The flu death rate, it can be argued in this case as much lower. With concern and panic, more people with symptoms of coronavirus are more likely to seek medical attention. Not so if this was "just like the flu."

      @@samsaber4490 when companies make investment decisions, they look at the cost to pay for that investment before going ahead, i.e. how much a loan will cost. If loans become cheaper, it doesn't mean all shelved investment opportunities will go ahead, but in the largest economy in the world, it means there will be investments that would go ahead that otherwise wouldn't. Same for people, that quarter percentage point means that some people will get a mortgage that otherwise wouldn't. At the scale of hundreds of millions of investment decisions, it makes a marked difference.

      Yes. The morbidity is overinflated at this point. It will lower when people realize that way more people have been infected than have tested positive. Right now, most people getting tests (and most certainly in the beginning) are the most severe cases that required a hospital visit.
      For ~85% of us, this is a flu. A regular bug that we will fight off. In some cases we might not even know we had it.
