I love how the game’s Team Rocket is on the level of Mòrag and Bridgid, who were established from the start as badasses. And how they’re surprisingly deep characters...

@@homuraakemi103absolutely. This is why they are my favorite characters in the game. Hilarious, badass, even genuinely serious and competent when he’s needed to be. He really hits all the right notes.

Zeke isn't a prince, he's a god. Best character in the game, no doubt.
My best character of the game was Nia, she's the real champ. Hell, the cast of characters are so good and memorable that I can't decide who's the best.

Zeke would hit with Ganondorf's strength at Sonic's speed, and every frame there would be a 1/1000000 chance of him instantly dying.
I love Rex's response of calling Zeke a pompous arse for some reason. And the fact that Mòrag, the strongest Driver you've seen yet steps aside and reveals Zeke's true identity is great. Really shows that he's actually buckled down and is taking you, the player, seriously.
If Arthur and Owain had a child, it would be Zeke XD

..Which basically means that this time Zeke figured out which powerful attack to use in order NOT to destroy the environment around him and fall off again. xD Hahaha

I think the problem was that he kept getting unlucky before he could bring more of his power out in the last two fights. He was testing them so he wanted to see what they could do probably but when he brought out more power to answer them his bad luck factored in and well...yeah.
So was Rex, but it's probably because he thinks Zeke is a good guy which he's right.
I would've loved to see a Vandham, Morag and Zeke team.

This dude hits so fucking hard. He one shots Tora with that Sonic Lightning move, or whatever it's called. Then he can make quick work out of Rex and Nia with regular arts and auto attacks.

Love how everyone has the 2 people party problem but none of em can read the screen that when you go over to the excluded party member it legit says at the bottom “X to include” pretty dam sad it took me a few seconds to realize it like cmon now use some common sense

You know what I absolute fucking LOVED about my playthrough? xD
A few minutes after this cutscene, when Zeke finally joined my team, I was SO happy that I wanted to try playing as him as soon as possible.
So after I arrived at Indol, I tried the nearest Salvage Point possible. I got a treasure but a Shark monster also spawned in... and those Shark monsters on that Salvage Point *ALWAYS* have a terrible Blowdown attack that sends you flying. xD
And I figured that out when that Shark knocked Zeke (me) OFF THE SALVAGE POINT and down into the cloud sea, and as he fell off he screamed “WHY MEEEEE?!” again. hahahahaha
Gotta say, it was the most satisfying and laughable defeat I ever had in the game. xD Was laughing for a good few minutes too. hahaha Especially since Zeke was the only one from my team who fell off.
Bad luck indeed, Zeke.

How is there so many people who have this "2 people party" problem? Like they apparently don't pay attention to the cutscene before the fight where it shows that Morag won't be helping you.
Apparently all these people don't know either, that in the character selection screen they can just go over a character who is not in your party and simply just put them in your party, so you have the full 3 people team...
Also being this far into the game you should know how to add and swap party members.
San Holo No, it only allows me to replace either Rex or Nia with Tora. Only 2 slots
Nexxarian No, you can have all 3. You have to press X to INCLUDE so you can fill that 3rd slot with a character who is not in your party.
Easy.
In all honesty, its fairly hard to see asbits on the bottom and its white text on a light blue bar
At least I can say I beat Zeke with only two party members.
I learnt how to include party member right after this fight, but at least I beat him with Rex and Nia only first try.
It took me a few attempts to beat him with Rex, Nia and Tora in Mor Ardain.
Honestly, though, both fights were a lot of fun to me

Long ago, two great characters had a battle, Zeke the Bringer of Chaos, and Riku, the Heropon. We died because the big power of the battle destroyed the world and the architet made us become holograms because of that
In your party screen you have to press include to get your 3rd slot active
Erik G i only can use Rex and nia or rex ans Tora but Not all Three in this Fight why? Its Impossible with only one of them and WE are lvl 46

you just saved my life. I've been Grinding against the Freaking blue deer characters forever because it was 2/1 and his Sonic Thunder things were murdering Tora.

No, you aren't.
I succeeded on first try, apparently grinding isn’t the biggest factor. I assigned every party member with specialists class, it worked with me since Merc mission help me unlock a lot of useful battle skills for my blades collection. Plus, getting a rare blade actually quite hard since there’s no guarantee that rare core crystals can give you one, only bigger chance. Some of my blade come from common core and it has 3 rare in my collection.
Never even played this game but found this video. This guy look silly but also awesome and I love the Scottish accents. Wtf is going on.
Fun fact: When Zeke is floating unconscious in the cloud sea, Turters is sitting on his head.
Every time he uses Sonic Thunderstrike or whatever it is, Tora gets one shot and ruins his aggro. Nia dies immediately after and Rex is aggroed. It's incredibly annoying.
This is kinda hinted when Rex first rejects his invitation for battle so he runs forward to stop them, and also when he grabs Turters after he was found by Pyra, because he was so flipping fast.
And as Chuggaaconroy pointed out, it was completely cloaked by the comedic tone.

I like that you lose a character to fight with (Mòrag) because she doesn't want to embarras herself, and not because she's injured :P
I know this comment is 2 plus years old but it's more so that Morag actually knows what Zeke is capable of but let's the others get their asses handed to them the moment they start talking crap unaware of who they're actually talking to. Basically just letting them embarrass themselves for underestimating 'Thunderbolt Zeke'
I never noticed how nonchalantly Rex pulls out the Aegis sword before Zeke shows off lol
If you start this fight with Morag in your party, it forces your party to only have two members. This makes this fight SUPER hard for someone like me. Losing once doesn’t fix the issue, so I had to reset.
Go over the character not in the party and press the “x” button and they will join in

So it turns out when morag left the party, the third member stayed in the deactive slot, you can press a button on them in the menu and readd them. (Think it was x)
Midna78 with 2 party members: (I used Nia and Rex) Equip nia with accesories to get ether and healing abilities as high as possible and rex with one that boosts hp-potions and another with special up; then give each an item pouch item that reduces damage from physical attacks and adds hp recovery (gold rarity is easiest). Then youre constantly dealing damage at close to max health :)
I managed with Tora and Nia. Had to fine tune my gear though, was a learning experience
Tora's attitude when talking to Zeke is the only thing greater than the bringer of chaos himself.
But seriously I love this scene. Zeke gets serious and everyone respects each other, sort of.

i thought you could only use 2 characters i’m so dumb lol, my characters were still one level below him but i beat him by using tora and nia, whittled him down to 0 hp with high hp and the occasional healing

It was a big mistake underestimating during this 3rd fight. He defeated me *twice* here. He really wasn't screwing around this time.
