2:47 sorry I just have to laugh at how rex's empassioned scream was cut here XD. Seriously though, totally awesome. It captures the essence of xenoblade entirely, even made me tear up a bit
There's so much to say about the Xenoblade Chronicles series. 1 was the swan song for the Nintendo Wii, and single handedly revived the jRPG genre in Western markets. 2 was one of the first great jRPGs on the Switch. Torna The Golden Country proved that the series could utilize self-contained mini story arcs in the form of DLC to supplement the main campaign and provide further context and world building. Definitive Edition brought the original to Switch with key QoL improvements, and a proper epilogue in the form of Future Connected. 3 tied up the stories of 1 and 2 in a neat little bow while going out with a bang. Future Redeemed provides the ultimate fan service while exploring a key point in time before the events of the base game. Prior to Xenoblade Chronicles 3 I would have argued that Mass Effect had the best trilogy in gaming, but now that Xenoblade Chronicles is a trilogy it is the best by far. I learned a lot about a wide variety of philosophical topics from playing the Xenoblade Chronicles trilogy, reinforcing in me many life lessons. These games genuinely inspired me to be a better more compassionate human being by exposing me to traumatic experiences in a safe environment. Every Xenoblade Chronicles game explores a main philosophical dilemma among others in lesser detail. However, unlike the works of Hideo Kojima it doesn't take a whole decade for Xenoblade fans to realize what the key message of the game is. Xenoblade Chronicles games openly invite us to ponder what we truly value and how we can move toward our values with the actions we take in our daily lives. Thankfully IRL it doesn't take a Monado to change the future. Each and every one of us is changing the future right now, and nothing ever stays the same.
Great job man, you managed to condense the overarching plot ideas, iconic locations and insane music into a 4 minute teaser that flows really well. Xenoblade is one of those series that I would be so disapointed to have gone through life and missed out on. If anyone has any other series/shows that makes them feel like that let me know.
@@Fabio-ql5yf Way ahead of you (metaphorically not actually). Beat Sky 1st and a little into Sky 2nd, so far it's pretty good and the ending of 1 caught me off guard because I forgot about his past being.. abnormal. Aside from that 1 felt like mostly an introduction, 2 feels like an actual story.
@@Tom-101 Glad to hear it! Like you mentioned though it’s a slow burn (an absolutely amazing one), the first entry in each arc is usually the introduction so definitely take your time to soak in the character-/worldbuilding, lore etc. When it goes down though, it REALLY goes down so you’re in for an insane ride man! :D Btw.: One of my favorite things, and arguably one of the strongest parts of the series are the NPCs, so please take my advice and try to talk to all/ or most of them. (You probably noticed by now that they update each time something happens in the story) It really makes the series something special. To quote a review I’ve read which I couldn’t have said better myself: „[…]All of which is to say: Care breeds care. The Trails series has had a lot of love and care put into every aspect of it, and that care is rewarded by the people who invest time in it. It’s hardly surprising that there are so few games like Trails [of Cold Steel]. Games like this take time, from both developer and player, for diminishing commercial returns. When you spend this much time building a world this rich and deep, and then fill it with characters that feel so real, you have to also give them the time to let them breathe. But I feel like as gaming goes down the hill towards trends - DLC, lootboxes, games as service - experiences like Trails are all the more rare and precious. I’ve played hundreds of hours of video games this year, but I can’t remember the last time that I actually cared this much.“ So please don’t be afraid to invest time in it, and honestly it’s a lot of time (1000+ hours for the entire series), but let me tell you: IT IS SO SO WORTH IT!
This is absolutely outstanding. You made a better video than any official marketing video Nintendo ever made for this series. I hope newcomers give the series a shot thanks to this!
This is a trailer for all 3 games and I love it! It’s a good way to get people into Xenoblade chronicles it’s such a perfect series and is truly an underrated masterpiece
Xenoblade chronicles 1, the most hauntingly beautifull game. She sheer elation just exploring and going to weird places and realizing how beautifull the world is is amazing. Xenoblade 2, aka, there is no way this next titan can be more awesome than the last one, spoilers, it always is to the point your jaw is stuck to the floor the whole game. Xenoblade 3. Probably the most entertaining gameplay wise, the best combat the series has to offer, the world is simpler but filled with little things for the vets. It's a love letter, and a damn good one. Xenoblade x, because yall keep forgetting it. It makes you feel like you need a bigger gun. And you have giant fukkin transforming, rail gun toting mechs. And the most underrated ost made by the legend sawano himself.
Push on despite the pain and despair you feel, shape your future with your own hands. Surround yourself with people who love you for the times when you’re weak. Those are just a few things Xenoblade has taught me.
God this trailer is so sick. I think I've seen this video in my recommended before, but I never checked it out until now. Such a love letter to the entire franchise. More people really need to get into Xenoblade
This should ABSOLUTELY be ad an AD from Nintendo. I've played all 3 games and love each of them in their owns ways but if I had never played this series this video would have sold me on them - great job and Happy New Years!

Ya ik that feeling, the first playthrough of this game felt simply amazing, its the only of these 3 games that felt like a real journey with a goal (elysium). The Ending got me so offguard it was a rollercoaster of emotions with many tears shed for me
Interesting way to introduce pople to Xenoblade. My only problem with the video is some spoilers like long-hair Mio, and Rex's armor. But anyways, great job!
I'd say watching this as someone who's played all 3 extensively is an even better experience! Cuz we get all the lines and the themes intertwining between the trilogy that creates this feeling of true gratitude for such an amazing series. Awesome video!

MY! I wish I could UNplay xenoblade to watch this trailer and think, damn I need to try this series. Seriously though, GREAT work capturing some of the epicness and emotion these games can get you on a relatively spoiler-less short vid. The use of voices was spot on.
My favorite work of art just in general. Started strong, continued going just the same, experimenting a bit with each new entry, and then knocked it out of the park and straight out of the stratosphere. If you’re reading this comment specifically on this video and have never played the games: well, first off, have fun. Second off, I’ll provide a guide for a play order. Really, you can pick whichever one you want to try out first; if you’re huge into fantasy type stuff with a focus on story itself and how characters connect to it, go for Definitive Edition. Xenoblade 1 has probably the strongest narrative from a technical point of view; by the end, it really never fails to win over just about anyone with its myriad plot twists and super incredible universe-building. I’ll be honest, 2 is messy at times, but that combined with its overall quality does lead it to have the strongest emotional core of any of the games in the series. I’ve noticed that all a large number of people need for a story to work for them is a decent villain; well, 2 is generally agreed to have the best lineup of antagonists in the whole series by quite a large margin. On top of that, the world is somehow more defined in terms of its towns, residents, and cultures (the different peoples literally have different real-world accents accordingly in the English dub), and it still looks gorgeous to this day. Torna also adds a lot to the overall package, although it’s so big and can stand on its own, so a lot of people actually consider it to be its own entity entirely. (Torna even has its own combat system! Which, by the way, 2 in general improved upon greatly in the interim since 1) Finally, 3. It’s incredible. The story is really excellent, the combat is generally agreed to be the best in the series (I personally prefer 2’s, but I’m in a minority), the line between side content and main content is incredibly blurry just because of how quality the former is, the main party is almost certainly the best in the series, if not games in general; I need to stop. To be honest, 3’s main strong suit is it’s gameplay; despite how good the narrative is, plainly seen in reactions from newcomers starting with it, fans actually generally find it to be weaker than both 1 and 2 overall (and as much as I regret it, I have to agree). However, that might be a reason to start with 3, and then go back through the series and have fun getting context for random things while also watching stories unfold that you just might enjoy more and more, getting maximum enjoyment from a story perspective. Despite all of that, I would naturally recommend just going in order. If you do that, *please* don’t forget to try out Torna as well; I’ve noticed a lot of people got trigger happy and went straight for 3, not realizing that Torna is a whole nother game in its own right and not just a disposable add-on. Future Connected isn’t necessary, but it’s also pretty fun and comes bundled with Definitive Edition for free. TLDR; All of em are incredible, doesn’t matter which you start with, play them in order if you can, don’t forget about Torna. If you took the time to read all of this, thank you. Go for it. I love this series so much, just as many others do; you might love it just as much. It doesn’t matter if you normally don’t like RPGs, this series is different and has made tons of people who also didn’t like RPGs into fans. Pick one, try it, and see if you like it. Find an LP and watch an episode or two (not the finales though! Big spoilers!) At the very least, pick a soundtrack and give it a listen. That alone might catch your attention. No matter what, though, have fun. Thanks for your time, and have an awesome, blessed day.
Ive only played 2 and I’m doing 3 right now (with torna on the side with 1/4 of the game done) and yeah I see your point on the 3, but still felt more connected to the character of the 3 rather than the 2, since like you said sometimes the story feel a little weird, but overall almost godlike to played it through confinement and I also feel more connected to the character of the 3 because of the hole storyline around time since it’s hard to know how to use your time this time around with all the possibilities the world offer. Still gonna do the definitive edition in the future after I’m done with the 3 and crisis core reunion that I want to try out
Wooow this is truly amazing!!! I'm really getting a lot of inspiration to create something similar and cinematic for Xenoblade Chronicles too now to further showcase the amazing things this series has to offer!

Man this was the most awesome showcase, i just started playing this franchise not so long ago and am already in love with the story and the art/gameplay direction, all i can say is thank you for this amazing video
Amazing stuff! Sadly there are some things in here that I personally wouldn't include-- including: ... Mio's long hair, Noah's Chapter 5 jail speech, Alvis using the Monado Mio's long hair raises suspicion and is a pretty big one, Noah's Ch5 speech is something I would want to hear for the first time in game, and Alvis using the Monado may ruin that insane feeling of seeing someone other than Shulk/Dunban wield the Monado better than both of them for the first time. I am glad that someone made this! And you did a really good job too! For the people who played all the games, this is like a reminder of the beautiful journeys we experienced.
Only thing I'd say is sometimes something people think of as spoilers aren't really until context is given, and once someone has that context, usually they've forgotten the spoiler. Like, why is Rex's new outfit a spoiler? It only suggests a costume change as they have no way of knowing why that change is important. Why is the Monado II a spoiler? Stuff like that.
@@ajbXYZcool I know what you're saying but at the same time, there's a reason trailers don't include small details that are potentially big spoilers. Some people do overanalyze. Other people randomly pause the video and notice something is off and then begin to draw their own conclusions from those things. Others are halfway thru the respective games and, seeing small details puts together pieces that they otherwise wouldn't have. Someone who was halfway thru xc3 got mio's long hair spoiled to them in these very comments. I could make a case for all of these things not being in the video, and theres a reason none of them were shown in any official trailer for the games: the beauty of experiencing things unspoiled. there's a difference between "WOW i did not expect that" and "WOW now that one clip I saw makes sense"
@@ajbXYZcool mio's hair is definitely more of a spoiler since there's no way she's growing all that out in three months but everything else yeah people exaggerate a bit on what is and isn't a spoiler in a trailer without context. we get to see bloody knuckle noah in the trailer and i wouldn't go back and say it spoiled anything about the game to me, if anything misled, which is also something trailers may try to do to pull in bigger audiences
i still have no idea how monolith get consistently this really high quality in everything, gameplay, story, art direction and even (and especially) music every studio slip somewhere at least sometimes not monolith apparently
Honestly? Cause Monolith is the rare RPG studio that cares more about its product than it does of its profits… Which is why them working directly under Nintendo is a match made in heaven.
This was absolutely incredible! I had goosebumps from watching this! I always get this hard to explain feeling when I play these games, its a truly amazing feeling!

Haven't played Xenoblade Chronicles so I clicked. This video is awesome ! now I think you convinced me to give them a chance
Hope you'll enjoy the games then :D
You're in for a wild ride!
@@SparksOpus Hehe insert funny Consul D joke about the passage of fate
This is an extremely well done trailer, it feels official, but so much better!
Aww man, thank you so much
Great job man, you managed to condense the overarching plot ideas, iconic locations and insane music into a 4 minute teaser that flows really well.
Xenoblade is one of those series that I would be so disapointed to have gone through life and missed out on. If anyone has any other series/shows that makes them feel like that let me know.
not a series but journey is a masterpiece that made me reconsider my purpose in life
@@PKiX Journey was good yeah, in quite a different way to Xenoblade though at least for me.
The Trails series. Really can’t recommend it enough. The best games I’ve ever played.
Btw.: One of my favorite things, and arguably one of the strongest parts of the series are the NPCs, so please take my advice and try to talk to all/ or most of them.
I’ve played hundreds of hours of video games this year, but I can’t remember the last time that I actually cared this much.“
So please don’t be afraid to invest time in it, and honestly it’s a lot of time (1000+ hours for the entire series), but let me tell you: IT IS SO SO WORTH IT!
Reliving Vandham's death in XC2 but with the Off-Seers music got me in tears bro
I love how this trailer began and ended with Alvis, who we all know is the best Xenoblade character and has some amazing quotes.
Alvis was there at the beginning, and he will proclaim the end will he not?
@@scrutzs_fnf I knew this quote was gonna pop up when I clicked on "1 reply" ;D
As someone who adores these games, this was EXPERTLY made. Captures everything that makes these games fantastic in a neat little package
God this trailer is so sick. I think I've seen this video in my recommended before, but I never checked it out until now. Such a love letter to the entire franchise. More people really need to get into Xenoblade
I think this is the best jrpg saga I've ever played!
This is such a sparkin incredible trailer. Well done captivating the emotions of the game.
Guess it worked out as i wanted :)
Thank you very much
You caught the spirit of Xenoblade in just under 5 minutes there. That's some serious accomplishment.
This should ABSOLUTELY be ad an AD from Nintendo.
I've played all 3 games and love each of them in their owns ways but if I had never played this series this video would have sold me on them - great job and Happy New Years!
Happy new year to you too and thank you so much
This was so well done! Thank you for making a trailer that captures what fans love about their stories. I know what I’m showing my friends.
Of course, I'm glad that you like it :D
I hope that your friends will like it too! :)
Xenoblade is definitely one of my favorite franchises ever. Great job on this trailier!!! :D
God top notch editing... you seamlessly bounced from one game to the other one song to another...
Guess all the time spend to make the trailer was worth it :)
Wow, that's a like, share, download, save, and a sub in one! This was awesomely put together. I have all of them and want to experience it all again thanks to this! Well Done!
Thank you very much! Happy that the effort was worth it :)
I absolutely love it! A few minor scenes that could be considered late-game spoilers for an observant viewer… but otherwise completely amazing.
Thank you for this gem! Really gets me pumped everytime.
God I wish I could experience Xenoblade 2 for the first time again. It was so damn good. I love 1 and 3 as well, but every time I see Rex and Pyra I just get so happy.
Same!
Xenoblade 2 is the best game ever for me. I also love XC1 & XC3.
Ya ik that feeling, the first playthrough of this game felt simply amazing, its the only of these 3 games that felt like a real journey with a goal (elysium). The Ending got me so offguard it was a rollercoaster of emotions with many tears shed for me
I have a feeling that 2 will always be my favourite. It's just got so much soul.
@@CapsuleCorpStudios I cried like almost 6 times during that game. Masterpiece!
Interesting way to introduce pople to Xenoblade. My only problem with the video is some spoilers like long-hair Mio, and Rex's armor. But anyways, great job!
Oh my God, I've already seen the video four times and it's still amazing. You really did a great job!
You just earned my subscription!
You guys are all so nice... thank you
I respect the use of Nintendo's own tactic of "put a raw Isurd line in there to make it seem way more important than he really is"
I mean... it's the way that he said it :D Definitly a great tactic for a good trailer!
Yeah seriously, people were expecting him and Nimue to be the Lora and Jin of Xenoblade 3 before the game released.
I'd say watching this as someone who's played all 3 extensively is an even better experience!
Cuz we get all the lines and the themes intertwining between the trilogy that creates this feeling of true gratitude for such an amazing series.
Awesome video!
This video was amazing, and the choice of music and voice lines felt so perfect 👌 Let's boost this video in Hope's that the algorithm gods find it !
Glad to read that :)
And i definitly wouldn't mind the help of the algorithm :D
Every xenoblade game has made me shed a tear it's incredible how well these games can carry strong emotions and are such a joy to play. I still plan on playing from the start through to the current again some day. Lovely video and thank you for making it.
Breathtaking trailer. This is legendary. Xenoblade is the greatest series ever.
Fantastic work!
Also sadly rip xenoblade x.
lowkey my all time favorite Xenoblade. . but im kinda use to this now XD
Christ, this gave me chills. I love this series so much. You did an amazing job with this
Everytime I see an amazing fan creation like this it reminds me of how much these games have impacted my life. Such amazing stories, journies I will never forget. This perfectly encapsulates the stories themes and aesthetic so well.
I might actually use this trailer to convince some new people to give the series a shot.
As someone who has never played any of the games and knows nothing about the game, that was a really good trailer! I'm still not sure what it's about but you did amazing at making me want to find out!
I might actually cry, this is so so good, I love these games so much
This hits even harder after finishing Future Redeemed
All the VA lines fit so well with the BGM. You must be a man of culture.
Phenomenal Work man! Since Xenogears nearly 25 years ago, Takahashi and his team has a special place in my RPG heart. And as someone who has played all his games you know you are in for a REAL JRPG experience when they release a new game(story)!!!!
Now that Future Redeemed is releasing in less than a day, I sincerely hope you make an updated version of this at some point in the future.
Yup...this is the Xenoblade Trailer for sure. it's beautifully out of context, features hype AND painful scenes, it's just great.
This trailer, so damn awesome!! I’ve played every single game and my god the series is a masterpiece. The story, the music, all of it, I really hope this series continues.
Thie will go down as one of the greatest trilogy in video games
Music if people want it: (POSSIBLE TITLE SPOILERS):
0:00 Noah and N [XC3]
0:34 Tantal [XC2]
1:05 Engage the Enemy [XCDE]
1:43 After Despair and Hope [XC2]
3:03 Homecoming [XC3]
Thank you! I think i forgot to include them in the description lol
YOU ARE A HERO
IM CRYING WTF😭😭😭
Im almost done with the first game. Going to start the 2nd soon after. This game is truly a masterpiece.
Absolutely :D Enjoy the rest of your journey!
"Freedom is right of all sentient beings, you all know there's only one way to end this war."
MY! I wish I could UNplay xenoblade to watch this trailer and think, damn I need to try this series.
Seriously though, GREAT work capturing some of the epicness and emotion these games can get you on a relatively spoiler-less short vid. The use of voices was spot on.
Happy to hear it! :)
Guess everything worked out as intended... thankfully haha
the splash screen at the end gonna need to be updated to include FR. also this is so fucking good
This is just so god damn beutiful... I've been on this ride for so many years and I'm never jumping off.
One of the few gaming franchises where the voice acting is spot on perfect for every character across all 3 games.
Holy crap the editing on this is amazing!
The transition at 0:34 is so fluid in love it!
Gave me chills. I beat all of the games, (But only did Xenoblade 3 ng+) But this video makes me want to play it again.
Which, by the way, 2 in general improved upon greatly in the interim since 1)
Finally, 3.
As a massive fan myself, i agree and wish for more people to experience this journey themselfes :)
Still gonna do the definitive edition in the future after I’m done with the 3 and crisis core reunion that I want to try out
They get to put this in the GOTY and no one could refuse to give the award to Xenoblade
Wooow this is truly amazing!!! I'm really getting a lot of inspiration to create something similar and cinematic for Xenoblade Chronicles too now to further showcase the amazing things this series has to offer!
Ofc, can't have enough of them :D
Such a great video! So many incredible moments in this xenoblade journey, kind of crazy how it almost never existed
I have been a fan of Xenoblade for quite a while. This video brings memories when playing these titles. Excellent job making this video!!!!
Thank you, great to hear
I’m like actually crying… or at least have teary eyes… this was so good. Very much will show this to anyone who doesn’t know Xenoblade, of that you can be sure!
I hope you’ll see my comment on the Duality Montage Video as well since I wrote way more there a view minutes ago.
I rarely comment on videos but this was fucking incredible. Anytime I'd like to recommend this series to someone I'll show them this.
Thank you for your comment, appreciate it :)
Man this was the most awesome showcase, i just started playing this franchise not so long ago and am already in love with the story and the art/gameplay direction, all i can say is thank you for this amazing video
Glad to hear that you liked it, thank you :)
Hope you'll enjoy your whole adventure through the series!
Amazing stuff! Sadly there are some things in here that I personally wouldn't include-- including:
...
Mio's long hair, Noah's Chapter 5 jail speech, Alvis using the Monado
Mio's long hair raises suspicion and is a pretty big one, Noah's Ch5 speech is something I would want to hear for the first time in game, and Alvis using the Monado may ruin that insane feeling of seeing someone other than Shulk/Dunban wield the Monado better than both of them for the first time.
I am glad that someone made this! And you did a really good job too! For the people who played all the games, this is like a reminder of the beautiful journeys we experienced.
Also Rex's master driver outfit.
i also wouldnt include the monado II either
Such an epic story!! and this is a work well done sir, cause I want to play again :)
I thank you for the kind words :)
That was amazing! I love these games so much and thus is a trailer they deserve!
All the Rex screams professionally edited out. Very good
i still have no idea how monolith get consistently this really high quality in everything, gameplay, story, art direction and even (and especially) music
every studio slip somewhere at least sometimes
not monolith apparently
Honestly?
Cause Monolith is the rare RPG studio that cares more about its product than it does of its profits…
Which is why them working directly under Nintendo is a match made in heaven.
@@TYPE_Xenofanatic5767 what can I say? It definitely shows
This is the best trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles. The music, the picture chosen. Congrats
2:34 was incredibly well timed with the music, not even just the drop but the rhythm of each note during that particular scene from 1
Even tho I played all of the xenoblade chronicles games i still get goosebumps XD i swear to god this game franchise is one of a kind
HOLY SHIT! this is so good that a mere like is not enough to express the love this has put into.
Ofc it is :D

Absolutely stunning! I will show this to all my friends!
Glad you liked it!

OK. as someone who has played and beaten all 3 of the xenoblade games that are on switch....this is incredible.
All 3 bangers in one trailer, well made!
Absolutely amazing! You really captured why this is the greatest series of all time!
This was absolutely incredible! I had goosebumps from watching this! I always get this hard to explain feeling when I play these games, its a truly amazing feeling!
Nicely put together, only thing I would change are the subtle spoilers. like some people's outfits and a certain someone's hair. But then again, newcomers won't catch on to these, so 10/10 :)
