Finally watched your vid, ran power to the black and white wire on gray plug and boom shes all go. No idea why but all the wiring diagrams i found didnt have that wire requiring power.

@@matthewmcbeth4099 from what I’ve heard of the ecm has an immobilizer and you don’t have the lock cyl or key it won’t start or run. I suggest getting a non-immobilizer ecm to make life easy for you
My buddy put a 2jz into his mr2, i had to pay a guy in Russia €150 for immo off solution, luckily the conflict disabled all means of paying him, i have the immo off files if you want them, great video, goodluck.
Great video Thankyou! The power too the 5 wires, where are you bringing that in from? IG SW would come from the ignition barrel and I’d assume the others would come off the battery through a relay in the fuse box too the ECU?
Interesting video Once immobiliser is wired up and if battery is disconnected will you still have to wait for immobiliser to reset. The 52 plate i have here once battery is reconnected you’ve got to wait several minutes with ignition on for immobiliser to reprogram its self.

On the F60 plug #7 +bm needs 12 volts. It’s for the ETCS. Hook that up and clear codes cause it’ll be in limp mode. I also suggest hooking up your obd port to pull codes it can life a lot easier trying to diagnose problems.
I would suggest getting a plug if at possible. If powers get grounded or grounds get power it can fry your ecm and cause runability issues. But yes they do directly into ecm. And technically you could wire it that way. But super sketchy

Hey man quick question I have a 2jz ln106 and I'm looking at removing the original interior/dash loom that use to hook up with the old 2.4 motor as it's just a bunch of loose wiring and plugs that I dont need. Do you know how I can safely remove the wiring? I cant find any info to help me
1st off sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Technical difficulties. 2nd if your doing a relay board and after market gauges your safe to remove all that dash wiring aside from heater controls and radio

@@damienjamila4141 the ecm sends ground to each injector individually wiring wise since it has spark I assume the cam/crank sensor ok. Maybe the ecm is bad??

Does it have proper fuel pressure? I assume the maf is plugged in. Also make sure pin +bm on f60 plug has ignition switch power. That is for the etcs if yours has thar
Real helpful video! got it all wired up and it idles real high after warm up and 80% of throttle in not responding. tried swapping throttle body and ecu. made no difference.Any ideas what it could be?
@@MrKkpain the 80% throttle problem is it’s in limp mode. The high idle I’m not sure about. I did hook up more wires to power after the video. I’ll look tonight for sure I didn’t forget about you just been working way too much

Having a no start condition on my 2001 is300. No fuel no spark but pump works on a direct. Coil pack has 12v. I have another ecu from another 2jzge but no key. What do you think is the best solution
Sorry for the delay. If you have a Noid light or a test light see if the computer is sending ground to the injectors. If no then pin test from ecu to coils/injectors. Should be easy with my harness video
@@im469too will check in the morning. Also want to add I have error in communication from ecu. It reads for like a brief 2minutes and then pops up error. I tried 3 different scanners.

Some cars didn’t come with a immobilizer. Those are the most desired ecu from what people have told me. You don’t have to have the key and ignition cylinder which is less work and/or less to go wrong
@@im469too ahhh i just looked at my 1jzgte vvti ecu and my immoblizier connector is grey and the wire colors are completely different so i dont think tbey are the same

It really depends on the application you’re doing the with truck. Is it 4wd ? 2wd ? Are you racing it or street driving. Tire size and transmission also factor into it

Ok so let's say I so everything you just did. Ideally we would want to protect the ECU from a power surge. How did your final wiring look like? Did you do battery - fuse - ecu ?
Surely if the key sends a signal to the small box under ignition then the box would only send the signal to ecu via a wire otherwise that would render the box under the ignition useless, so you should be able to bypass that box under the ignition (before the box itself) with the factory wires and the car would start without it? This is just a theory and based off the fact that I've seen of many immobilized toyotas be stolen without the key in last few years alone I'm guessing this theory might be correct. It could work or I could just be too baked idk..😂
I’m not sure to be honest. If I ever have to opportunity to test this theory I surely will. Or if you find out more I’d love to know. I get lots of folks asking about this.
Some Jap imports have no immobilizer, also India, I had a mitsubishi l200 with random immo problem, sometimes non starter, I got a file from l200 in India, no immo, no DPF, flashed eeprom and flash file to my ECU, removed immobox and car started, had to delete DPF though

In the link for the plug I show in the video. All the F60 plug wires that are in bold need 12 volts.
how did you hookup the alternator? did you have to swap alternators?

The ignition switch has a sensor that detects the key. That probably went bad. I’d start there

The Etsc-i part is the problem in my RX7 conversion. Can't get it to start.uses the same wiring site as you.
No 12v at. The throttle body.

The ecu grounds the injector to make it open. I’m pretty sure +b is the efi main relay that should have power when the key is on. I’d start there.

Yes. By putting in a ecm that does not have an immobilizer. Other than that no. I looked into it. Found no way around it

My automatic transmission is shifting faster than it should and also skips second and goes to third.
Pull codes and see if there is shift solenoid code.

How did you wire up your fuel pump?? I also have an is300 swapping it into an older chassis
