I started my turbo build last year when my son was barely born. He’s a year and a half now and I’m still not finished with my turbo build. I think the hardest part is finding the time between job, wife and kid. When I do get that hour of getaway, having your tutorials by my side definitely accelerates the process. Thank you so much. GTE prices are out of this world especially for a budget build. Looking to get your adapter and some boof little cheap plenum from Amazon or eBay. With the way the car scene is now in California, everyone is getting state reffed(tickets to be put back to stock). I’m thinking I’m just going to build it, sell it and move onto a V8. Less problems with authorities, and easier to make power with a simple cam and springs. My mind say 6.4 scatpack or 6.2 Camaro but my pockets say 5.0 mustang or 5.3 chevy

I don't know about availability in your area but waterjet cutting where I am is a about the same cost as plasma/laser and would eliminate any of the complaints about warping in addition to needing less cleanup.
Honestly, watched this video about 10 times helping me with my own install so thank you! My loom is all prepped and ready now and even managed to get all the sensors in place from watching this to as that stumped me! Only thing I'm lacking knowledge on is where all the vacuum lines now go! Anyone else have any guidance on this?

Just installed this into my supra. Hood hits on top of intake plenum and not on throttle tabs like you've said in the video. Might have to cut the hood skeleton. Am I the only one that has had this happen?
I have a 96 SC300. You stated that they have the 12v MAF wire when I need to use a 5V for the GTE Map. How would I go about converting it to 5V? I have an PnP AEM v2 for the GE harness. Would I be able to simply change it from 12 to 5?

Have you considered using crank sensors for the cams? Lower profile so you should be able to fit the cover on!

same here. my manifold does not have the iac at the back and there is a plug on the TB on inboard side. I think a separate video is needed for vvti

No, the GE map sensor won’t work, you need to use a GTE sensor for GTE ECU’s and it will work with aftermarket ECU’s also.

@@favier9856 no. The GTE map sensor maybe compatible with your ECU but is only a 2.3bar sensor, so it will only work up to 23psi.

What did you use to plug up the hole where the dizzy was?
you can just cut a plate of aluminum drill a bolt hole then just rtv it and tighten it down with the dizzy bolt/stud

Does it fit IS300 like that?
What would you suggest as an alternative to using this plate? It won't fit in an IS300.
