This kind of extreme diet is the perfect way to set yourself up for a bad rebound unless the end of the diet is managed to perfection with the gradual introduction of the new maintenance calories, which I would suggest is going to be very difficult to implement. My advice as someone who has (like Shannon) been overweight but is now successfully trim again is to set a sensible weight loss per week goal like 1, 1.5 or even 2lbs, standardise your eating and exercise as much as possible and then just boringly track the results. Weigh yourself once a week. As the diet progresses if you’re finding it harder make sure to keep your step count high, do something new like a spin class or whatever once a week rather than slashing your calories to this level.

If you’re eating only 1200 calories a day as an average sized male, or female for that matter, good luck exercising or performing any physically demanding task at all. Says the ignorant person in the internet
Yeah, I weigh like 270. At 170, this is a light eating day. Seems clean tho.
I am significantly overweight. I just had my measurements taken for the first time in my life (one of those machines that does your height, weight, and has you hold your arms all the way out). I burn slightly less than 1400 calories each day, just being alive. So now I’m on an 1100 calorie diet to lose weight. This video is helpful to me. I would have to drop something to stay at 1100 but it’s still helpful.
No sugar packs no margarine one pat real butter
Can you do 2500 calories ☺️
A man can afford to eat way more than 1200 calories. That's too much of a deficit
I would stick to this diet for twenty minutes. that's how long the banana would keep me satisfied in the morning.
Why would someone want black decaf?!?!
What happens if you struggle to get even close to 1000 calories
You mean as in, you eat less than that? Because in that case, I was there too like a year ago (I'm a bit emetophobic, so there was a time when eating a lot at once, made me freak out), just start small, like adding 100cal plus to your normal diet and slowly work your way up, also try to not stress about it too much, anxiety can make you lose appetite and make you nauseus (I hope I spelt that right...)
the eggs alone are 820 kcal. something's not adding up
No 4 scrambled eggs are 364 calories
1 medim egg is 70kcal more or less
I would be depressed after one day of this diet 😢😢😢
Um everyone commenting on the calories there are smaller people shorter people and that is their maintenance and not every video should be 1500+ cal
Holy cow. I'll try it for 2 weeks mate
No offense , but if you think that eating 1200 calories A DAY is for optimal fat loss then think again .
actually, eating 0 is optimal because you'd be at 100% fat loss at that point
poor diet if you are starting with 2 sugars
Hey bro
I sent do you have a meal plan you could share?
For a male 1200 sounds like an extreme diet.
Even for a woman over 5ft (so most women)
If you've been fat that long, you can be fat a little bit longer while you lose weight @ 1500 - 2000 / day.
personally, i gain on that much even with moderate activity! my organs don't like me and decided i get "tired all the time and can't process food efficiently" disease (pcos). though i suppose being a woman makes my caloric needs a bit different in itself too. 😅
This is kind of a low calorie intake especially if you’re active.
1200 kcal is a bis extreme to be honest, Id remove the banana which has a lot of glukos in it, rest looks good
1200 is the minimum a female can go. I'd add like 100 or 200 more calories for a male
Why so low in calories?
I was advice to take 1850 calories ,but then even 1100 i can’t even take it makes me sick too much food . What should i do
Thanks...
I eat 1200 calories and eat 4 meals and 3 snacks I feel like I’ve ate 6000 calories after that
