I've been so addicted to social media lately and didn't feel like doing anything productive, but this video made me realize that life can be so beautiful if you detach yourself from the lives of people and focus on what matters to you. thank you for this!
i hope this video reaches those who really need the wakeup call i hate that youtube algorithms only show these video to people who are already looking to change, and not people who are ignorant.
I know this thinking very well, I also used to think like this, because we are waking up to what we don’t know and how unconnected many people are on this planet, but don’t forget that by thinking this way you are also still in separation thinking, because you don’t accept the people that are unawakened as a part of yourself ❤ The way to convince people to spirituality is by being the best, most integrated version of ourselves and the most powerful thing in the world is to radiate love even though there are seemingly so many reasons against it. So essentially, by thinking that people are ignorant, you are being ignorant yourself
this summer, i deleted all social media as a method of deinfluencing. i had no idea how much of my personality, my style, my interests, hobbies, the content i engaged with, etc. was based on trends and the interests of my friends. My identity was crafted not by myself but through algorithms and others. During the break, i listened only to what I wanted to, no longer felt the need to cater my consumption and presentation to others’ ideas of me, or others’ ideas of what is “cool”… I allowed myself to exist as it naturally does, and through doing so finally feel at home in the person i’ve become
I am a 17-year-old boy who is trying to choose his future profession. But I don’t know who I really am, why I came into this life and what my purpose is. I'm interested in so many things that it's hard to choose just one. Sometimes I want to give up everything and go somewhere far away. I want to look at the clouds in the sky all day long, I want to hear the birds singing, I want to feel the gentle caress of the wind. But the truth is impossible to avoid, and it is overwhelming. I hope the rest of my life won't be so painful and I don't know when my suffering will end.
I understand this feeling, since I’ve also constantly been confused about what profession to choose, so I know how overwhelming it can be. Just try to think of the thing you enjoy the most, where you don’t feel like it’s an obligation when doing this certain thing. Then try to think of the job that would require you to do something similar. Anyway, 17 years old is the beginning of your adult life, and to be honest most of us struggle to choose at this stage. It’s important to understand that this confusion definitely will not persist forever
We’re still young for knowing what we really want so it’s ok to be confused. Whatever you choose for your profession, it doesn’t matter. You can change it, so don’t stress too much about it (*'▽'*) Buttt I recommend you a japanese philosophy named ikigai, which means “your reason for being”. I saw so many people who said this philosophy made understand themselves more on forums and i also really like it too
I lived near nature my whole life on a small island, and I wanted to go live in a city. But after a few month in Uni, I realized how much I missed my home.
this message has always been the same, but you delivered it very well. your amazing shots are a great reminder that there is so much more out there while we all just try to limit our lives into our small screens. thank you for your work, hoping the channel grows soon! xx
hiii, i loved this video. it just gave me a realization that with social media and the overconsumption of it by watching other peoples lives is making us miss out on our own. it's really not necessary to watch what other people are up to whether through instagram stories or youtube vlogs long or short, we need to spend our time cultivating our life. because we only get one life and this life is too short to waste it by abandoning ourselves to keep in tune with someone else
I feel like admitting that you have a problem with social media is really hard. And I do. I know I have a problem. I know I spend too much time on my phone and I hate it. Thank you for giving us all perspective on how we live nowadays. I wish you the best, feel hugged ❤️
as soon as i clicked on this video, i knew it was one i had to watch on full screen, phone down, no distractions. i felt transported into the beautiful meadow and places you filmed, and was swept away by your calming monologue. thank you for sharing this! i feel so encouraged and inspired to go outside. well done!
I loved loved this video. The cinematography to your voice to the message, absolutely perfect. I have been feeling like I'm wasting my life away on TH-cam or Instagram, i deactivated shorts and started watching long form videos again as the first step to gain a sense of control of my life. Thank you for this. You earned a subscriber here.
this felt visceral to watch - your cinematography captured what feels like a childhood memory - the colour, serendipity and simplicity that most people turn to the newest self help book to bring back. Good job man!!
Right now I am suffering from whole of depression and anxiety but watching this type of video relax my mind please keep it up. Lots of love from India 🇮🇳
I’m glad my video helped and I’m sorry to hear that about your mental health. There’s a new video about transcendental meditation coming up on my channel tomorrow - maybe you’ll find it helpful. It helped me reduce my anxiety significantly, so maybe it could work for you too)
It's true. I've quit social media platforms at a huge extent in these past weeks. And it has only resulted in a good manner. Trust me, you'll start looking at the things from a diff pov once you're living for yourself w/o being controlled by any algorithms followed. You don't click photos for your stories anymore but for memories and yourself. You'll never regret after avoiding social interactions bcuz life is very bful outside, that small things. And I feel bad for those who spent hours and hours on phone w/o noticing that they're literally wasting their precious hours of their life. Just live your life at the fullest until it's too late bcuz life is too short to enjoy. So have fun that's all I'll say. Thankyou for this amazing video.
This is soo true. Its almost crazy how so many people in this world are just tied to expectations and the fear of being judged by others. Taking a few moments away from social media, the tv shows etc can really bring such a huge change in your life. It feels rewarding just to simply "live" once you have detached from everything that made you feel dependent on others opinion for your happiness. Trust me, take a few weeks off and spend the time with yourself and it might sound weird but you will find happiness in the smallest of things and realize how much we really have been missing out on. Thank you for the video Stas your awesome!
These are great words, exactly the idea I was trying to convey in this video! I’m glad we reached a mutual understanding on this topic. Thank you for the support🙏🏼
So many videos are on this platform, constantly drowning us with information; and then out of all of the million options for content a video like this comes around and makes my day. thanks stas.
I had to force myself to click on this video, because I knew it would be no stupid/ easy content, now I wanna thank you so much for this amazing work of art. From now on, I will accept the biggest challenge of our time for young people, the end of endless distraction. TYSM
I am so grateful to have stubbled upon this video. It made me realize that life isn’t about a screen, but what surrounds our life and what matters is our life. Our real life. I’ve been struggling with endless doom scrolling sessions for the past few months trying to escape from my tasks, from my reality, that I hardly focus on the things I really enjoy about life. I hope that in the next weeks I’ll be able to detach from social media and learn to embrace the nature and my potential, so I get to live again.
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,312 subs and > 1,000 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place
I’m so glad for you! It’s definitely a long journey on which you’ll learn and many things about yourself that you might’ve not been able to notice before. Good luck with your channel!
@stasliutin Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my TH-cam channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a TH-camr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this TH-cam thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)
So much truth in your words. We all need to focus on what’s in front of us instead of instead of on others. I’ve struggle with this more than I’d like to admit. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for making this great video. I was just back in my doom scrolling of my social media & feeling dissatisfied with myself. Also the fact im struggling with self identity during my 20s. You reminded me exactly how simple it is to go back to myself. Thank you
I was so engrossed on my own sadness, not knowing I'm doing nothing but just being focused and being sad everyday. I'm too engrossed that I didn't see the beauty of all things. That I'm too engrossed that I thought there's no happiness anymore.
"And you take up the phone in your hand again, you scroll through the news feed, you scroll through your social media feed, you text multiple people, maybe answer a couple of calls, and now it's time for TV shows, so you binge-watch your favorite TV series, _and it's also important not to forget to keep up with trends_ or to have an idea of what your favorite vloggers are doing at the moment, because why would you pay attention to the boring life you have, when there are so many other totally authentic people ready to share their lives with you, ready for you to immerse in their world, ready for you to forget who you really are." This part really resonated.
Had to comment here for the splendid narration, the use of minimal visuals, subtle music in the background, and obviously, the meaningful words. Just saw this at the right time in my life. This is wonderful :))))
i just watched this on a sunday evaning after doing „nothing“ all day and i deeply needed that type of content, thank you so much for sharing this masterpiece!
That rly hits me, the meaning, i have no words, thank yooou sm. And that artistic camera setup - brilliant, thank u for this type of content and kind of philosophic thoughts. Very needed for everyone to have an wake up call in todays modern social construct world.
Watching this before Sunday has to be the best thing ever I plan on not using social media of any sorts on Sunday I just wanna watch the sunrise and the sunsets, read a nice book in peace and reflect on my thoughts and ideas. Also i really love the cinematography and the overall vibe, setting and aesthetic of the video. thankyou sm for this, it's always small videos like these that make a change.
I got my phone taken off me for 3 weeks and it was honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me. I picked up 4+ new hobbies (I have ADHD so I need those hyperfixations to stay sane) I can now skateboard, I got back into gymnastics, I am learning to surf, I am taking singing classes, and I'm about to get interviewed by an acting agency. I have had my phone back for about 2 weeks now and I use it for probably 30 minutes a day to text my boss/family and check the time. In the morning I play a video game on my Steam deck (kinda like a Nintendo switch) from 5.30 - 7 and at night from 7-8. Or whenever it gets dark. I constantly feel myself looking for hobbies and I'm constantly motivated by the competitive aspect. I can be the most interesting person in the room and have loads of skills that no one else has because they were all on their phones. I am thinking of picking up Capoeira (Brazilian dance fighting). Get off your phone. It will change your life.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! yes, I can definitely understand you with constantly picking up new hobbies, it’s great when you have so many various things to do that you totally forget about the existence of social media or all technologies in general)
Sometimes you just need these moments where you can just reconcile with yourself. But it doesn’t always have to be this way, the people you know are in your life for a reason too)
i’ve recently taken a liking to having instagram off of my phone because it takes a massive burden off my mind to keep checking it for messages and stuff. i used to hate when other people didn’t reply for ages, but now i see why it can be really nice to just be… free.
The video, the content, the cinematics, those words... everything is so perfect about this one video. It couldn't have been more perfect and enlightening. We all are so consumed in other's life, social media stuff and all that we forget to feel ourselves. We barely spend time with our true selves. This video is just so perfect and most adequate for anyone in this generation. Hats off to your hardwork..loads of love ❤️
I'm not even kidding but this was a perfect time yt algorithm recommended this to me. It's been a really confusing year for me and now that it's closing I hope I would finally find myself amongst my cluttered thoughts. This helped a lot with it, i really appreciate it!
video was really quality :) great job! and for some people who still can't find the answers, delete the social media, say goodbye to some people who don't care u, do something for yourself, live. Start to live.
Thank You bro, I really needed to hear this right now. I'm a introvert and a loner since before, but I did met a girl from an ldr way back 2021, we have almost 3 years of in a relationship but this year we ended up broke up, she is the only one I have, but she still love her ex. Now I'm alone again rn but I forgot how to be alone again.
Honestly l this video brought too my attention, that I am finally back to know who I am. I recently got out of a 4 year relationship from when I was 16 all the way up until now that I am 20. I never truly got the ability to find myself and find the person that I am. It has been 2 months since I have been in that relationship, and I am happy to say I found myself and what I love and can focus on goals and happiness, and wait for life to bring to me the best of things with time. Thank you honestly the end of the video made me a bit teary eyed, because I felt that I had no purpose without being with someone. But now I know that what I have been feeling recently with being motivated and going out and finishing projects that once started but never finished. I realize that I have found who I am and I am happy. Thank you.
I’m glad you found the strength to leave the past behind and spend some time working on yourself. It’s definitely true that changes in our life, no matter what we may think, they are always for better)
Wow, what a beautiful video! The meaning, the videography, the visuals, everything is so powerful and calming (and aesthetically pleasing). Thank you for making this and sharing it with us!
I've been wanting to take my life, my interests and my personality back to me, I've deleted tiktok and set a daily 30 minutes timer on Instagram. Honestly my phone is much boring now, i rather turn it off and be productive, bake, cook, read a book. We are not meant for social media, we are meant for something else that fulfill our life and im so glad that im finding the strength to break my phone and social media addiction. I love this video sm!
This is so beautiful and I completely 100% resonate with this. I have been on this journey. It takes everything to truly detach, because it means you must trust yourself that much more, and that is the most powerful and wonderful thing that we can do for ourselves. So glad I found this. You are wonderful and you are doing great work.
I'm new here, but you already attracted me from the first second. The way you film, the way you edit, the way you speak has something to bring peace. Something making me want to create similar content and actually share it... Thank you very much, I don't meet people like you every day)
@@stasliutin You absolutely deserve it, and even more! What I wanted to say.. is that I actually did upload my very first TH-cam video today and I'll soon buy a camera and film some stuff. Thanks for giving me that little push into taking actions💕
... I've stumbled to both videos like this today, one in Spanish and this. I think we need to get this style recommended more. We're in such an oversaturation era, we just become machines.
I really love this videos, that make me remember how the life is. The words, the places, the voice and a excellent person who create this. Thank you so much. 🩷
Thank you for this, I’ve been inside for days now, just on my phone, I’ve wanted to go outside but I’ve just made the excuse of “it’s too hot” and “I’m tired” but I always just feel sick from being on my phone, I’m going to try to get off my phone now, thank you ☺️
Thank you for making this video. I really needed to see it. Thank you for reminding everything that I had forgotten about myself. Genuinely, thank you sm man.
wow. wow. wow. as someone who struggles with motivation and tends to spend hours scrolling, this really showed me what and where my free time spent is more valuable. i just started a two week socials break, and have found myself watching movies and youtube videos.. time to replace it with enjoying time away from the screen and in the beauty of God's creation. Thank you for this video.
I've been so addicted to social media lately and didn't feel like doing anything productive, but this video made me realize that life can be so beautiful if you detach yourself from the lives of people and focus on what matters to you.
thank you for this!
Life can indeed be beautiful and bring you a lot of surprises, you just need to go out there and explore!😊
"Why would you pay attention to the boring life you have? When there are so many other totally authentic people" -Bro this is eye opening for me.
i hope this video reaches those who really need the wakeup call i hate that youtube algorithms only show these video to people who are already looking to change, and not people who are ignorant.
Thank you, I hope it reaches more people too)
Well, God help those who help themselves.
i really like the way you film, it’s calming

Had to comment here for the splendid narration, the use of minimal visuals, subtle music in the background, and obviously, the meaningful words. Just saw this at the right time in my life. This is wonderful :))))
Thank you so much!
This is a wondrous video man. I'll continue working to be able to articulate my thoughts in such a manner some day.
Thank you for this feedback and good luck with improving your speech!

Cinematics along with the editing and the music are just stunning. Gives the video a whole aura, a sort of glow.

I look around my house and see so many things that I use to distract myself from my own life, thank you for making this!! 💗
We forgot that we are strangers too in this cruel world.

mad respect, you saved my life from being wasted❤
Watching this before Sunday has to be the best thing ever
I plan on not using social media of any sorts on Sunday
I just wanna watch the sunrise and the sunsets, read a nice book in peace and reflect on my thoughts and ideas.
I’ve been detaching myself from everyone these past couple days and I’ve felt so wrong for it but now I get why I do
Sometimes you just need these moments where you can just reconcile with yourself.
I’m really glad you found it helpful, all the best to you!
"Why would you pay attention to the boring life you have..." F*ck that's deep 😢
Thanks for this soothing video
🥺❤
You’re welcome!
I'm not even kidding but this was a perfect time yt algorithm recommended this to me. It's been a really confusing year for me and now that it's closing I hope I would finally find myself amongst my cluttered thoughts. This helped a lot with it, i really appreciate it!
I’m glad you found my video helpful!! I hope you manage to sort out your thoughts, all the best to you!
Thank you for bringing me back down to earth , with me , here In This Moment.

Thank you sm for saying this)
Thank you so much. Btw you're very underrated. Keep growing!!!
Thank you sm for this!
Thank you for motivating me to do all those things you're doing. ❤️🙏

Damn the cinematography is awesome
Plus nice said
Thank you sm!
Thank you sm for your support, it is so important for me!
Love the message you're sharing!! Thank you men
Highly under appreciated
Breathtaking video. I can't wait to see more of these
There’s much more to come! New video every Sunday)
"Now is the time to focus on your own life."
I'm new here, but you already attracted me from the first second. The way you film, the way you edit, the way you speak has something to bring peace. Something making me want to create similar content and actually share it... Thank you very much, I don't meet people like you every day)
Thank you so much for saying this, comments like this give me the motivation to carry on!
@@stasliutin You absolutely deserve it, and even more!
What I wanted to say.. is that I actually did upload my very first TH-cam video today and I'll soon buy a camera and film some stuff.
Thanks for giving me that little push into taking actions💕
One of the best videos of ALL TIME.
This video came in my recommendation just at the right time. Thank you for this!
I’m glad you liked it!
... I've stumbled to both videos like this today, one in Spanish and this.
I think we need to get this style recommended more. We're in such an oversaturation era, we just become machines.
Thank you for saying this!
I really love this videos, that make me remember how the life is. The words, the places, the voice and a excellent person who create this. Thank you so much. 🩷
Thank you for the support, I appreciate it!
Thank you for this, I’ve been inside for days now, just on my phone, I’ve wanted to go outside but I’ve just made the excuse of “it’s too hot” and “I’m tired” but I always just feel sick from being on my phone, I’m going to try to get off my phone now, thank you ☺️

You’re welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it
wow. wow. wow.
as someone who struggles with motivation and tends to spend hours scrolling, this really showed me what and where my free time spent is more valuable. i just started a two week socials break, and have found myself watching movies and youtube videos.. time to replace it with enjoying time away from the screen and in the beauty of God's creation.
Thank you for this video.
I’m glad it was helpful to you, thanks for the support!
