Honestly, I don't think suffering is necessary to find joy in life, but I do think it teaches us important lessons when we encounter it. Would I avoid the pain in my future if I could predict it? Maybe, maybe not. I'm aware of my privileged position in this world, but there are many who aren't so lucky. I think when someone encounters true crisis or tragedy, it gives you a different perspective on 'everything happens for a reason'. Sure, sometimes we encounter hard times or roadblocks that help us grow and lead us to new parts of our life story. But sometimes bad things happen that truly don't have a reason and can't be explained and it's important to validate that experience too.
The joy I’ve experienced after facing true hardship has been ten times that of what I experienced before. Going through some darkness truly makes you appreciate the light
I agree with you a lot. Nobody deserves horrible trauma. Some painful moments do teach us a lot. But life is unfair and sometimes we get something we don't deserve. And we have to just heal from it. That is another hardship. But we can find hope if we want to. So yes MOST times things happen for a reason but SOME times they don't.

I am currently 16...i lost my mum last year due to cancer...and I've completed my journey of halfway through the High school...Turns out my friends were separated from me because we chose different careers. I felt betrayed every moment as of now...but then i remembered and realised those were the best moments of my life...my mom, my friends my entire childhood! I am studying physics and mathematics now, as i am really interested in that field...and I got ton of scolding during middle school from teachers.. because i wasn't doing well in math class..but in grade 9th.. I got a wonderful physics teacher..who understood how unique i was..he told me i was really special, as i sometimes did ask him questions on black holes and quantum physics...and he told me I can become a theoretical physicist in future...i just thank god for that giving that moment in life because, if my teacher wasn't there i couldn't find the real purpose of my life...

No one comes to the Father except through me.” meaning there's no other way or route to eternal life. There is only one way and that way is Jesus. In John 10:30 Jesus says “I and the Father are one.” which is Jesus saying and calming that He is God, that Him and God are one.

My wife of 13 yrs died of cervix tumor cancer 8 1 23 thinking it was menopause n butt pain within 3 mths.. gave us hope never made it the the 1st chemo, no other health issues before, was only 50 ... but i agree tho everything happens for a reason n the lord is in control, n thankful i had those wonderful yrs with her, tho still taking it bad :(...

People who had a difficult childhood, especially those who never had their emotional needs met are prone to limerence. The reason is because we were always prone to imagining a parallel reality, a whole world of fantasies we could escape to. Fantasies have always been a safer world for us than the real one, so our mind is already used to this dynamic (it's basically like 'muscle memory'). When something triggers this dynamic, it's like opening a portal to our safe fantasy world, and as destructive as it is, we are used to actually loving it... That being said, my soul is brutally violently viciously maliciously raped and has been my whole life I am desperate to die REMINDER TO SELF: FEAR is a bully. If you try to avoid him, reason with him, appease him, beg him, he will kick the shit out of you and ruin your life day after day, until you don't have a life no more. But... If you start looking him in the eye and saying "FUCK YOU, do your worst, I can take it" and you mean it... He may beat you once or twice but after a while, he'll let you be. You might even become friends over time. ALSO, You must not be afraid of playing the wrong damn notes. Just forget it! just play the whole damn thing wrong, if you must! But for the love of God... PLAY! AND... You MUST push back against anything that go against your values. NEVER passively agree to anything with which you don't agree!

But I have realize so much things why I am here. God really works in mysterious ways and we all should stop for a moment and ponder to all things that has happened to our lives.
I was heartbroken because my ex left me. After watching this video, I just realized that if he hadn't left me, I would not be on the self-discovery journey and find my passion. especially those who never had their emotional needs met
are prone to limerence.
The reason is because we were always prone to imagining a parallel reality,
a whole world of fantasies we could escape to.
Fantasies have always been a safer world for us than the real one,
so our mind is already used to this dynamic (it's basically like 'muscle memory').
When something triggers this dynamic, it's like opening a portal to our safe fantasy world,
and as destructive as it is, we are used to actually loving it...

FEAR is a bully. If you try to avoid him, reason with him, appease him, beg him,

He may beat you once or twice
but after a while, he'll let you be.
You might even become friends over time.
