I started to watch this a year or so ago when I made my first comment and never finished. I have now, and the unbelievable amount of flexing you exhibit, from health management (hell the entire Dark Torvus segment) to boost jumping and everything else in this TAS is just great to watch.
That 1 tick of health BEATDOWN! Man, and right before the battle the Hilarity of seeing a Pirate go flying off the Scoot and hit the ground. The pure skilladry.
some of the bosses are utterly destroyed within minutes like with the screw attack on the last ones or the three worms with just high-caliber death some of the bosses are destroyed before they even begin like with the Jump Guardian honestly kind of horrifying, 10/10

This is a glitch called infinite speed. By getting stuck into certain collisions it is possible to rotate too fast for the game to handle. The effects of this are very technical, but basically you can touch everything at once when you're boosting, including the power bomb expansion I want to get early.
@@TyRexDaQT usually I work on a video for something in between 3 weeks to 2 months for Echoes, a bit more for corruption. Not every day of course, more like 2-3 sessions per week.
I skipped here to find out what this was about, only to see a minute later that they hadn't even entered the tutorial area with the troopers Edit: How'd you get that jumping down cutscene twice?
The glitch to get the early power bomb crashes a lot, the health for boost guardian is pretty tight and the order of items I pick up in the first sanctuary trip would be very difficult for inexperienced runners (especially screw attack after quadaxis). I think the rest looks easy if you're at least a little familiar with tricks in echoes
@@MaskedTAS I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but do you do that wonky dash off the little drones to get to where Screw Attack is? I have never once in my life been successful at that.
@@neochozo there is a newer, way easier method for early screw attack using a boost jump. Explaining every in detail here is a bit complicated. You should check out the speedrunning discord for prime 2 for more information

I like how at some points you just go back and forth because the game is taking too long to do the thing its supposed to do. Very cool - can relate.
I replay this game at least once or twice a year and I never noticed that you start the game with boost ball lol

Everytime you go to that area that cutscene will always trigger
