Also, Bianca, thanks for understanding that butters & oils can hit different on hi-po hair! I'm always amused by how intuitive we are about our own porosity when we're at either end, high or low, of the spectrum, & how counter-intuitive the opposite porosity seems... most hi-po's know what it feels like to accidentally weigh down our hair, but I've seen several low-po TH-camrs who don't get that hi-po hair can still be airy, light, & blowy, not producty, even with oils & butters in it! And then, as a hi-po, it still seems miraculous to see someone under a faucet & their hair doesn't look wet at all & just gets beads on it. The world would be too boring & a lot less beautiful if we were all the same! xo 😘
I’m low porosity but I did find it is easier on me to use one product as a styler. I use Bevel men’s Curl Cream it is amazing it’s like a moose, Leave in and gel all in one bottle! My hair is defined, moisturized and smooth and sleek. Also my bank account is fatter now that I only use One styling product on my hair. 💜 💜 💜 My high porosity hair takes a very long time to dry. Although I will allow protective styles to air dry, I find that air drying wash n go styles, always results in more frizzy, less defined hair. Because the cuticles are naturally more lifted or raised, setting styles with cool air helps to close the cuticles and provides for better, more long lasting results. Hope this helps someone 🙂💜🙃
Although I am only 5 months post big chop, my hair is medium length TWA. My high po hair dries fully within 4-5 hours but again it sits around my earlobes and not as long as yours. However I find that letting it air dry for 30 plus minutes then cool air from dryer, that really locks in the shine, moisture!
@@princessaluchi8924 that's my problem lol I have to section it with a half-up half-down piggy tails so allll of my hair gets fully dried, still end up diffusing anyways 😅
I tried the no oils and butters method for over 30days and it was a negative for my High porosity, high density, course, 4a curls & coils . However the method helped me see need to clarify every two weeks vs a month for the reintroduced heavy emollient creams and wet line gel. Yep now my hair lasts and feels moisturized for days. I use AG shampoo and conditioner (expensive) on a weekly basis, and clarify ( every 2 weeks) with kinky curly come clean - Deep condition (Shea moisture manukau and honey) once every two weeks when I feel my hair needs it. Trim when my hair asks lol -
I have naturally higher porosity despite not having color treated or heat damaged hair. My hair soaks up water instantaneously, and actually takes FOREVER to dry! My hair is also fine, so I take it easy on moisturizing products (no heavy creams and butters). For that same reason, I can't apply stylers on dripping wet hair. It weighs me down. But the curlsmith strength line are some of my favorites!!
I wss low porosity before dying my hair .I have 4a/b hair so styling products on damp hair is not for me I have to apply on soaking wet hair. And to ensure it locks in I put a bag over my head and add heat my hair gets so dry sometime and will break nothing dramatic. I recently dyed my hair over already damage 💔 shedding hair I knee better.... didn't fall out or anything it was still thick just shedding which wss the same as before. Then I recently did a big chop to get rid of the damage amd I noticed my hair was less defined😪😪 and in the back my curls was limp and stringy . Now I'm trying to just focus more on moisture cream leave in heat every bow and then and oil amd leave it alone.
Thank you, Bianca. My high porosity hates oils. I'm getting there with styling it, but I'm still at that: "looking for what's best for me" STILL. 🙄 My curly hair is time consuming and hard on the pocket, you know? 🤷♀️ You should know how lucky you are! 6th day hair and no frizz? Girl, that is "crazy"!! 😁 BEST WISHES. ❣
Try to switch to making some of your own products. I've learned that my hair doesn't take coconut oil well without heat but it loves almond oil and flax seed gel. I have yet to find the perfect product off the shelf but I have found diys that I love
Grown out & trimmed off most of my higher-po highlights, & now have medium-to-just-above-medium po, medium-to-high density. I do (& have done) many of these tips, except I don't usually air dry (hate having wet hair/scalp & it takes a day now to air dry, over an hour to diffuse on cool & low), & I don't need much protein anymore, but my hair has been thriving! Layering a leave-in, botanical gel, & a pvp gel has been my go-to & a game-changer for me. You should definitely try Soultanicals, Bianca! The Frizz Whiz leave-in won't weigh your hair down, & the Fro'zen gel has the strong hold you love. I think you might also find the Can't Believe its Knot Butta not too heavy & good in winter. I love Curl Junkie Pattern Pusha & Curlsmith's Flexi Jelly, esp. layered together! Thanks for addressing varieties of textures in this series! xo 😘
I have high porosity and very dense 2c to 3a hair. I walk the line between not enough moisture to weighing my hair down. I love the curlsmith protien line, mielle pomegranate and honey line, and the apple and aloe curl definer is awesome! My hair takes about 2 hours at least to fully air dry. With the diffuser ( because I do love my volume!) 45 minutes to an hour to fully dry my hair. My hair also loves oil treatments... I use argan oil
The Maui moisture coconut moose is everything for my high porosity hair. I use the Jamaican black castor oil deep conditioner and I recently tried the Zotos professional all about curls line. The leave in detangler and the taming cream and now my new staple and it’s affordable. Doesn’t replace my curlsmith moisture line though
Thank you so much for this informative vid, I totally love your personality it makes the vids so much better. What I got from this. 1. Leave in, cream, oil 2. Deep conditioning 3. Protein treatment High porosity is really a choir lol
The fact that I was just searching for high porosity hair tips. And thought to myself ‘I wonder if MzRenee has tips’. Then bam 19 minutes later she posted a video. Thank you ❤️❤️
Your hair❤️🔥! Great tips! I have high porosity hair and only suffer from dryness if I use certain products. The biggest tip that really makes Hugh difference is using Glycerine FREE leave in products , hard hold gels with glycerine work well because it keeps the gel cast from cracking off your hair and max it more flexible. Glycerine in LI wave ins draws too much moisture to the hair causing puffy dang near moist cotton candy type issues. We use multiple products ( LI, moisturizers , creams & butters) as a barrier to atmospheric moisture. You will now t find a true high porosity head spraying in water based products mid week as it will just puff and frizz out the hair. Mid week moisture is accomplished with oil & water based products like Oyin Hair Dew or Smooth Naturals Hair Treat. Best long lasting hair happens when you add layers of moisture and butter/oil that seals it in and acts as a barrier to atmospheric water. If you are like me you keep an eye on the dew points to ensure you are wearing your hair style and using products that align with the dew points so you are not caught with puffed out twist/braid out or an overly shrunken W&G. It’s a lot but once you get the hang you know to look. FYI glycerine and honey are high humectants that bring too much moisture to the party if you have high porosity hair so if you look at the top ingredients and it is listed there know to keep your coins in your pocket! Brands that have glycerine free LI & creams : Smooth Naturals, Nature’s Little Secret, Camille Rose, Kinky Curly, Soultanicals, Curls Origins, Curls and Potions and some lines from Taliah Waajid
@VirginiaClaiborne thank you so much! This is 100% my issue. I have high porosity, very thick, high density, dry hair. My issue now is trying to find products for my hair. I do mostly twist/braid outs and by mid-week it’s poofy and just ugh. A lot of it has to do with the humidity. I’m definitely going to try your method here. Thank you so much!!!!
@@kshanece002 truthfully if you mastered the wash and go it would also solve the mid week hair fail because with a W&G each strand is coated with product creating a barrier against the style ending atmospheric moisture. Treat yourself to a few clay washed and get your moisture protein balance together and your curls/coils will spring to life and you can easily achieve 5-10 day hair that remains shiny with moisture minimal frizz with minimal to no tangling. Takes a little work but once you have it down you will ❤️ it
I used to have very high porosity hair but can see now that it was because my hair was damaged for a long time, with out me knowing. But I’m currently doing a Curlsmith only year, and have learnt that my hair is actually normal/medium porosity hair. My hair dries pretty quickly, my hair absolutely loves protein ( I use the Curlsmith protein shampoo and conditioner every week). But because my hair is fine and not really thick, I only use a leave in on wash day and then refresh with a gel every day. So I guess the density of your hair changes the products and how many products you can get away with using.
I'm told I have high porosity hair but I think it's mixed. My hair loves the thick creams and custards but it takes forever to dry. I LOVE the Taliah Waajid Apple & Aloe line! My hair loves the curl definer custard. Jojoba oil is great on my hair but I actually do (LOC) Leave-in, then oil, then cream/custard or gel versus the LCO method
Hey can you do tips for wavy hair? I loved the four type vid and i think 4 and 2 type hair is kinda rejected sometimes and im kinda confused on some things with my hair so a 2 type hair vid would be great! Love u!!!!
I loved this video super helpful! It takes forever to get my hair wet but it also takes forever to dry. If I air dry my hair it takes 8 hours or more …. No joke. Thanks for all you do girl!
I have high porosity hair and follow and have followed most of the tips except I deep condition w/ heat most of the time because I do notice my deep conditioner penetrates my cuticles a lot more compared to not using heat, and I don’t style on soaking wet hair anymore especially when doing a protective style I find that because I have fine strands it causes fairy knots a lot more. So I let my hair air dry about 85% then I blowdry on low heat to help straighten and then cool to seal my cuticles before I do a protective style. I don’t really do wash n go’s much but when I do I style on almost damp hair blow dry each section as I go so my hair won’t shrink to much and cause more fairy knots
WOW Bianca your has gotten long and GORGEOUS, this is the shape I want!! And thank you for sharing this video!! I already do the pre-pooing with oils and the LCO method and it definitely helps with curl definition!! Now I'm incorporating rice water for the protein treatment!! And I'm glad you mentioned air drying!!
Loved this informative video however, I’m a bit confused. If you’re supposed to wash your conditioner out with cold water to close the cuticles, how do they open back up to absorb the deep conditioner? Shouldn’t you use a heat cap then when deep conditioning to open the cuticles backs up otherwise the conditioner is just sitting on top of the strands, no?? And if you rinse with cold, how does your leave-in, and cream absorb into the cuticles? Again, won’t your products just sit on top of the strands?
Yes in deed - leave in spray, heavy cream (Cantu moisturizing activator cream), and eco styler gel (for a firm hold for sealing in the moisture). My high porosity- combination lock 🔒-
I always come back to these videos so that I remind myself which porosity I am. I have really thick 3b/3c hair and had someone tell me that I had high porosity hair without really dealing with my hair. So I went a longtime in life being very unsure about what my hair porosity was. I tried a bunch of different protects and realized that CurlSmith and some Pattern products works best for my hair. I can now confidently say that I have low porosity without doubting it.
I love all your tips and tricks for hair!!! Girl i been so lost but your videos have helped me so much with my biracial princess and her hair! Thanks love! Oh i literally followed you on Instagram when you told me too lol thx girl
High prosperity hair here! It takes about 30 minutes to an hour for my hair to dry depending on if I’m moving around or not. Also, LOVE Shea moisture intensive hydration masque. I have yet to find a hair masque that helps my moisture deficit between washes like this one.
Coconut oil applied daily as a pomade helps to moisturise my high porosity hair. It just drinks it in and there's no oiliness after 15 mins, just soft hair. Apply it daily because the oil vanishes into the hair. Occasionally do a heavy oiling several hours before washing.
I am high porosity & have recently started using an old school (but new to me) brand - Qhemet Biologics. It has been great so far the last few months. I am using the Amla & Olive heavy cream, and their Castor & Amla nourishing pomade. I also recently (finally) tried the UFD curly magic and it has been great!! But I have only been protective styling the last couple months and haven’t tried any of these products for a wash n go yet.
Honey this hair is giving me liiiiiifeeee!!!! 😩😩😍😍😍 it’s gotten so long & looks a little thinker too! Question! Do you trim your own hair or do you go to the salon to get trims? I should know this seeing that I’ve been watching you since the beginning of time 🙃but yea 😅 what’s your routine with trims
Thank you! I needed this cuz i get my hair bleached at salon every 6 weeks sometimes later. But def every two months i get hair bleached root touched up and toned.
I like to on the first week shampoo towel dry microfiber to get access water out so it doesn't drip then us a water base treatment with aloe vera braid it in and let it soak it in until completely dry unbraid it and wash it out then put in a conditioner braid it in and let it soak it all in until completely dried then unbraid and wash out then add a deep conditioner same process and after i wash it out i would add a leave in conditioner second week is the same as week one just skipped the shampoo third week is the same as week 1 and fourth week is like week 3 this changed my hair so much its in a much better state. The most important thing is to read the ingredients i always aim for natural ingredients.
Your six day hair looks fabulous! Great video with good information. I also like my high porosity hair results using products from Uniqurl, Miche Beauty, and Adwoa Beauty. Will have to try Talia Wajid and the new Twist line. I used the SM Manuka Honey & Yogurt protein conditioner and received nice results. I have the recommended Shea Moisture products and will use them for the first time soon. You'll love choosing from the many products Soultanicals has to offer. I have been using Curlsmith products for the past 2½ months and really like them. In addition to the Strength lines, I like using products from the Moisture line. The Oil-In-Cream, Double Cream Deep Quencher DC, and the In-Shower Style Fixer gel are some of my favorites. I just ordered the Bond Oil and look forward to using it with the Bond Salve (love it!) and other Strength line products. I tried the Aqua Gel and will try it with the Feather-Light Protein Cream today. My curl definition has really greatly improved since adding more protein based products and treatments to my regimen.
great video. I have high porosity hair and my hair takes some time to dry. If I have evening plans ill do my hair in the morning by the time im ready to step out my hairs ready to go, the next day is the best though.
I think I have high porosity curly hair. I don't follow the hair type chart but I think my hair is mainly 3c with 4a on the nape and temples with maybe 3b. I have done well with weekly washing. I used to do regular protein and bond conditioner. My hair likes thick oils like castor and shea butter. I used the shea moisture castor oil and peppermint. My hair likes camille rose and honey baby naturals but the first is too costly and the second is no longer on shelves. I've struggled with dry skin from since childhood. It's gotten better over the years but it is still an issue. I think the chronic dryness of my body affects my hair. My hair likes diy and ayurvedic like onions, cassia, and banana masks. It is a bit messy.
Great video, will definitely try out some of those products listed. I’m a product junkie, but I’m also scared to try new products at times because once you find products your hair likes it’s hard to not use them. 😂
I have medium to high porosity, very fine medium density hair. When I have no product in freshly washed hair, my hair dries in 15-20 minutes. With my leave in, cream and gel 6-8 hours (overnight) air dried. My hair hates the blow dryer diffuser and all. I do cool air occasionally but that's the forever project. It really looks great and no frizz air dried. I wash at night and my hairs still wet when I go to bed. I try to stay up and wait for it to dry but I can't.
I have high porosity hairs, but too much of them that it would require too much for them to dry properly and in the meantime I would catch a bronchitis. Shea mosture is what I use for my hair, and they became so much better, but I'm also wondering if colouring your hair with henna can help, because they create a layer on the hair
This video helped me get a EPIPHANY! THANK YOU! so I just recently discovered I have high porosity hair, so I'm still learning, and I just wanna add to the list (which I mostly, not 100%, but mostly agree with) that I hate using a diffuser or just the blow drier in anyway. it breaks my (extremely fine) strands adding frizz, it blows away not only literal water but also all the moist and hydration effects so it makes my hair looks and feel dry and dull, and it also just simply LOOKS TERRIBLE: despite having very very fine strands my hair is VERY thic, I have CRAZY volume, and the blow dryer just undoes any definition I try to make and retain. I never understood how much everybody with curly hair seems to love the blow dryer and I hate it so much. I was thinking what is wrong with my hair?? Why does it responds so terribly to blow dryer? No it's not bc I don't know how to use it, I do, on me and on others. No it isn't a bad quality one, it's the same I use on mom and it works just fine. No of course I don't use high heat, neither the stronger blow, I'm not tryna break, burn or make it even more frizzy I'm not dumb. I do the same my friends do and live and it looks absolutely awful. But then, my hair is just... his own. my type is kinda 4a but it's more to frizzie than actually curly like most 4As, it doesn't curl that much, it has a triangular like pointy shape like my aunts frizzie 4c, but mine is not actually 4c because it doesnt shrink that much, in fact only about 50% so it's not tight. my hair is fr so crazy, it's like a won't form curls, just frizzy tiny waves, like 4c pattern, but not so shrinked. and with like 3/4 your head size plus in volume looking super ticc and full, but actually having super thin strands, so not accepting heavy products, but very hish density so it's just so so so many hairs all over each other super close together, super difficult to separate and part it, but holds well with gel. and oh, half a meter long btw. So it takes me about an hour and a half with the blow dryer and 3 to 4 hours by air drying to dry out. seriously my hair is so complicated. But now I this video helped me realize why the blow dryer is so bad to it, It's bc of the high porosity! not bc I can't do it or bc of damage, but only It's just bc it doesn't do my hair well, it's just doesn't get along with it. it blows away everything I need to keep, undoes my already hard to keep pattern, and open even more my pores. crazy. I never knew it. also English is such a difficult language lol
Yeah the heavy products for me cause build up and some of them definitely weigh down my curls. I have very curly hair that has some thickness , but it’s also quite fragile and medium width

My curly hair is time consuming and hard on the pocket, you know? 🤷♀️
You should know how lucky you are! 6th day hair and no frizz?
Girl, that is "crazy"!! 😁
BEST WISHES. ❣
Have you tried Apogees' protein cream?
Try to switch to making some of your own products. I've learned that my hair doesn't take coconut oil well without heat but it loves almond oil and flax seed gel. I have yet to find the perfect product off the shelf but I have found diys that I love
This hair growth tho?! Yes Sis 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😍
I have fine high porosity hair
Curlsmith weightless air dry cream and shape up aqua gel are life! I can’t wait to try the oil!
💙💜💙💜💙
Girl you are 100% the only person I know who does not section at all LOL
😂🤷🏽♀️❤️
Thanks so much for this advice on your tips, I locked my moisture in with oil and now my curls are more defined and bounce! One love Faye x
Thanks for addressing varieties of textures in this series! xo 😘
Rinse with an acv rinse to seal the hair circles too.
My hair is 3b 3c and i need my hair to be weight for for it to be able to last for 1 week
I'm obsessed by you and your hair and I am proud that I'm subscribing to your channel
Aww thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️
1. Leave in, cream, oil
2. Deep conditioning
3. Protein treatment
High porosity is really a choir lol
The fact that I was just searching for high porosity hair tips. And thought to myself ‘I wonder if MzRenee has tips’. Then bam 19 minutes later she posted a video. Thank you ❤️❤️
I got chuuuu!! 😎
You’re the best !
Takes a little work but once you have it down you will ❤️ it
oh my goodness! i have been watching your videos and seeing how long your hair has gotten and it looks so SO beautiful! your hair is now my goal!!
I would love to see you do a segment about steaming the hair. I've seen other videos on how it's amazing for your hair....
Yes or it could be normal porosity
Hey can you do tips for wavy hair? I loved the four type vid and i think 4 and 2 type hair is kinda rejected sometimes and im kinda confused on some things with my hair so a 2 type hair vid would be great! Love u!!!!
Really great tips!!! Thanks Bianca! Taking care of us, even when you are partying in San Fran!!!💜💜
Look at the volume in your hair! 😍
Can you do a video about safe products for curly children’s hair? I’d love to hear your tips and recommendations!
The volume and Definition going on today!!! 🤩 what did you use?
I know right!? Her hair is gorgeous!
I wish on every video u say what you use in your hair... as it always looks so much better than the tutorials!!. ❤
I loved this video super helpful! It takes forever to get my hair wet but it also takes forever to dry. If I air dry my hair it takes 8 hours or more …. No joke. Thanks for all you do girl!
Same. How long does it take you to diffuse it dry?
Same here!!! Bur everything I read about high porosity hair says it drys too fast.
Can we all just take a minute to appreciate those eyebrows!?!!?! 🙌🏽😍👏🏽
I agree girl my hair has to be damp too i like to control how much water I put in my hair.
This hair!! It look darker and this volume!!! Loving the natural hair community helping each other out👏🏾
I also heard that an oil pre-poo prevents hydral fatigue from your hair absorbing too much water during wash day.
Your hair has grown so much!
B your hair looks amaizing today..voluminous and healthy!
Fall makeup on fleek, B. 🔥🍁🔥
Thanks boo!
Yes in deed - leave in spray, heavy cream (Cantu moisturizing activator cream), and eco styler gel (for a firm hold for sealing in the moisture). My high porosity- combination lock 🔒-
your hair looks freaking incredible omgggggg
I always come back to these videos so that I remind myself which porosity I am. I have really thick 3b/3c hair and had someone tell me that I had high porosity hair without really dealing with my hair. So I went a longtime in life being very unsure about what my hair porosity was. I tried a bunch of different protects and realized that CurlSmith and some Pattern products works best for my hair. I can now confidently say that I have low porosity without doubting it.
Should you still use heavy creams for high porosity fine/low density hair
Thank you for posting! I love my leave in conditioner but I need some help with my hair. I dont know what to do with it!
Takes approximately 1hour for me hair to dry. So far Curlsmith bonding treatment line works great. I use coconut oil to seal the moisture.
I love all your tips and tricks for hair!!! Girl i been so lost but your videos have helped me so much with my biracial princess and her hair! Thanks love! Oh i literally followed you on Instagram when you told me too lol thx girl
Can we talk about how bug and fluffy your hair is today!!?? 😍😍
That refreshed day 6 hair! Hehe
THE VOLUUUME 😍🤩 thanks for the tips, Bianca!!!
High prosperity hair here! It takes about 30 minutes to an hour for my hair to dry depending on if I’m moving around or not. Also, LOVE Shea moisture intensive hydration masque. I have yet to find a hair masque that helps my moisture deficit between washes like this one.
Do you need to add heat for deep conditioning with high prosperity or no
@@metrozeke8491 yea but not high heat
Oh, and with hi porosity hair, you don't typically have to try to get volume, but to manage the volume you have to get the style you want...
thank you. this is gonna help me so much. ive never known how to look after my curly hair properly till now.
Coconut oil applied daily as a pomade helps to moisturise my high porosity hair. It just drinks it in and there's no oiliness after 15 mins, just soft hair. Apply it daily because the oil vanishes into the hair. Occasionally do a heavy oiling several hours before washing.
I use coconut oil to pre wash
Locking in moisture with castor oil is what works best for my high porosity hair
Right😍😍😍
Your volume is amazing!
I'm back to re-watch to get some more tips. 😅😅😅 Thanks for do much good info!!🥰
THIS HAIR HONEYYYYYYY
I just started using keratin and aloe vera i flat iron my hair like how many times as we get an holiday throughout the year
Gang gang right on time !!!! 😇
You a real one!!!
Great video!! I can’t wait to see you try Soultanicals 💕💕💕
Great video, will definitely try out some of those products listed. I’m a product junkie, but I’m also scared to try new products at times because once you find products your hair likes it’s hard to not use them. 😂
shea moistures high porosity line is available at ulta!!
I apply so many products throughout the week on my high porosity hair, so I definitely need to wash more frequently coz product build up is real!
The Kinky curly line has done wonders for my curls
Would you say the Camille Rose cocoa nibs & honey will work as the oil for hi porosity hair?
I have high porosity but medium density. Those heavy products would weigh my curls down.
I’d try the melanin haircare leave in, it’s buildable, so you can use less of it and still get moisture
@Hello It's K avoid the cream, only use the leave in and a light weight serum
Yeah the heavy products for me cause build up and some of them definitely weigh down my curls. I have very curly hair that has some thickness , but it’s also quite fragile and medium width
Olaplex 3,4&5 expensive 🥲 BUT OMG a must have !!
High porosity line came out again, the mask is amazing
I have high porosity hair. But, my hair is sensitive to protein. Any recommendations for protein free deep conditioners, leave-ins and creams?
Dang all I saw was the little thumbnail yo little volume was da bomb🤣❤️
Hair looks GREAT in this video. The whole look is working too, lol
I don’t have high porosity hair but I just always love your videos and info!!!
I still feel i have high porosity hair but when i do protein treatments my hair breaks so am i wrong or ? Maybe a protein overload ? 🤔
I have high porosity hair due to highlights but my hair hates large proteins so I can only use products with small proteins. Porosity is so confusing and I’ve watched a bunch of videos BUT I’m off to watch yours.
What are large or small proteins?
@@taniadelgado8178 this is a copy from the science-yhairblog website
Choose smaller proteins (any amino acids, any peptides or hydrolyzed: silk, keratin, collagen) if you're new to protein or have coarse hair. Larger proteins (oat, wheat, soy, vegetable, quinoa) tend to work well for fine and medium hair and even coarse hair occasionally.
@@karenmonroe2058, thank you!!!
Thank you for this! All of this was so helpful!
Oh my gosh exactly what I need!! Thank you for making this video!!
Ladies please I need help, I live on a tropical island, humidity is 90%. Since I moved here 25 years ago I've already lost 60% of my hair. My hair is now very thin, very dry, and super frizzy. I've lost all my curls. I'm 61 years old and this is the 1st time I'm hearing about hair type and hair porosity and so on, anyways I did the hair test with a glass of water and my hair doesn't sink at all (low porosity). What products should I buy to start my journey into hopefully healthy and manageable hair? Appreciate your advice. Thank you.
My hair takes 5- 8 hours to dry especially the inside . But I love your hair 😍.
Today is June 21st, 2022. My hair is growing back from having breast cancer twice. I rinse my hair with luke warm water and I don't use gel. I use Cantu products and Palmers length retention hair and scalp oil with Biotin and vitamin E and I added olive oil, carrot oil, and castor oil.
no cantù
@@thatweirdgirlnextdoor40 why no cantu
@@angerleanhammond1143 it contains alcohols that dry out the hair and damage it

I personally have butt length low porosity virgin 2c OcASioNaLLy 3a texture fine thick hair.fine is is the size of my hair strands and thick is the amount of hair strands
For 3 years I have followed your tips and tricks(for the 99.5%) I diffuse if I have the time or sometimes I gently blow dry my hair.I have been straightening my hair once a year but I don’t think I’ll be doing that anymore cause I don’t get the smooth look I want and I think that’s due to the heat raising the cuticle but I can get basically straight hair if I blow dry it that way🤷🏼♀️anywho my hair actually LOVES protein🤣also when I started using natural products on my hair it loved the leave-in,cream,gel combo but as time has went on and I’ve made my hair completely healthy creams and gels are too heavy for my hair👀so now I use leave-ins and foams because mousse is too crunchy for me🤣
I’m surprised you haven’t done a review on the New hard hold gel from The Curl Talk line.
Can you do a foam only wash and go
You are correct about the high porosity and low porosity sea moisture lines. I didn't even get to try them 😩
The pruduct hair mayonnaise It's good for low Porosity hair type 3?
