This is now an outlet to show off my joke
    Paul: Get Enough?
    Also Paul: I’ve Had Enough.

One of the best Paul interviews out there. He is much less guarded than he usually is and doesn't tell the same stories over and over.

Paul was the one when there was a break from rehearsing, who would go to the bookstores, the theater, the latest thing that was going on. He was the most intellectual of the group so it doesn’t surprise me when he expresses his involvement in classical orchestral music. He is larger than life

Great interview. Paul reveals much more here than in other interviews.
However I thought it a little embarrassing that Charlie did not know that Paul's parents were no longer living. He asks this at 35:53. Especially Paul's mother that he lost at an early age in his life, as John also suffered a similar event. However, Charlie asks some interesting and possibly new questions, that others interviewers had not previously brought up.
Finally, it's quite appropriate that the final seconds of this video replays a live performance of McCartney singing Get Back, which is coming up later this year during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays as a new released documentary, The six hour online streamed Get Back film, edited by Peter Jackson.

I love Paul, I like watching interviews from different periods of his life. Paul strikes me as very cocky during the 90's haha, I really enjoy interviews from the 2000's and onwards. And podcasts too, there are a few in apple and google podcasts, which are very interesting.

The Liverpool Oratorio is way underrated. Melodically and textually it is a beautiful creation. Always risky taking on either classical or jazz music due to the facts that certain hipsters like to think that pop stars can never reach their perception of greatness.

Paul, commenting on Elvis, before he went into the army and afterward, brought to mind my poem.
    THE KING

    He wasn't supposed to move
    but couldn't hold still
    and I felt like that,
so when he sang I listened.
    "Sit still," my parents said;
"Take your seat," the school insisted,
until I felt like a tree in a storm
    struggling to free itself.
    But the King understood,
    though when he was drafted
and the Army cut his hair
    Pat Boone fell out.
The world's changed now; it had to.
    "Nothing stands still for long."
I was told but wouldn't listen.
    "Sit still," my parents said.
Nicholas Campbell, from my book, "Dear World."

The infuriating thing with Paul is……….. he’s being honest ! It’s almost unbelievable that the biggest and most successful pop group of all time where such bog standard, ordinary kids at the beginning ! The songs they created where incredible , yet the guys have no airs & graces and Paul talks to anyone like he’s in a pub in Liverpool talking to a local ; with all his quips and mannerisms and slang speech ! It’s not surprising that people at the time thought that George Martin was writing the songs and all the music was transposed by rudiments experts , engineers, technicians , and orchestral musicians. That Paul smoked a bit of ‘ wacky baccy’ went to sleep and dreamt the tune in his head and then whistled it down the phone to Martin in Abbey Road studios !

Pau, instead or that Oratorio should've tried something like a Bohemian Rhapsody type of song. That is one classical piece of music, a semi-classical piece of genius.

I believe it’d be an issue of pure chemistry. You can see in the new Get Back thing John and Paul liked each other’s ideas, and weren’t so fond of George’s. You can’t really get too far in writing a song if the other doesn’t like what you’re suggesting
